Just when I thought pizza couldn’t possibly get any worse in New Canaan, I reluctantaly gave this place a try based on all of the positive reviews. They call it Greek style. I’ve been to Greece and it’s nothing like this soggy, sweet mess. They clearly use sugar in their sauce and should win an award for having the worst crust in history. The cheese slides right off as the slice swings wildly as you lift it out of the box. Sad that such a nice town has so many options for pizza and we still have to drive to Stamford for a decent pie.

Greek style pizza doesn’t get much better than this! I have been eating this pizza served by the same man since I was 5 years old. I still remember going in there as a little kid. Owner is the nicest most caring guy. In a town where food is becoming more and more inflated in price, new Canaan pizza offers great pizza at a great price. Fortunately, the pizza is exactly the same now as it was back then, so friggin good. Sometimes brings me back to the day’s me and my mom used to share a small pie for lunch.

I really like this pizza. It is unique for this area. It is not your standard New York or New Haven slice, but rather a deep dish pizza. I find this pizza to be good if you eat it right away, but if you let it sit too long it gets a bit soggy. $ 6 small pie, $ 10 large pie. Can’t be beat.

I’ve been going here since the early 80’s. Hands down BEST pizza I’ve every eaten. The cheese, the toppings, THECRUST — sauce — everything is wonderful. Great guys — small location — but I always eat in if there’s space. And I always take a large home for the family. Also — their Eggplant Parmagiana is THEBEST.

Great place to get pizza in New Canaan, and the only place that serves Greek style pan pizza. Although the pizza is on the greasier side, it’s still great nonetheless. I tend to order just the pizza, as other entrees have been a hit-or-miss in my past experiences. Prices and staff are great as well. Takeout is the best option, since there is limited seating in the restaurant(two tables inside and one outside).

Great pan pizza. Awesome crispy crust. Try the sausage and pepper pie. They even make a heart-shaped on on Valentine’s day. The owner is a great guy who will remember you.

Grew up on this pizza as a kid. Authentic Greek pizza, nice and friendly staff, as well as outstanding Grinders. My favorite is the pepperoni and cheese grinder.

Tom and the rest of the NC pizza family have been feeding me for 25 years. They make a pan pizza with a richly spiced sauce and three cheeses: two types of mozzarrella and white cheddar! The crust is a bit thicker than NY style but much thinner than CHI. From this base I usually rock a pie with sausage and hot cherry peppers, though sometimes i add feta! The pizza is not greasy so much as it is juicy! No other pizza hits the spot for me like New Canaan Pizza. Don’t miss it!!!

Grew up eating New Canaan pizza. I have lived in both Chicago and New York and NC pizza is still my all-time favorite.

New Canaan Pizza is a town tradition. It serves a unique pie unless any others I’ve sampled around the nation. It has a Greek style crust, very light and slightly sweet. The sauce is mild yet the tomato flavor sand on its own. The pizza is greasy for sure. Extra napkins required. This is part of the appeal of the place. It’s delicious. After sampling pizza from around the country it’s unique and nothing else compares. The place is old, cramped and tiny. Like most New Canaan establishments parking is tight. But the owners are friendly, prices good and a guaranteed stop by my family when in town.

I grew up in New Canaan, but now live in Philadelphia. We used to order New Canaan Pizza every Friday night. I am heading to CT for a funeral in Hartford and have made special arrangements just to stop by New Canaan Pizza to get two pies to bring home. There is just nothing like it! I have tried every Greek pizzeria around my area looking for something similar, but nothing lives up to it. I always get the«Special, no anchovies.» The eggplant on the pizza is AMAZING!
