I brought in a wash-dry-fold bunch to them. There were two banana republic polo shirts, light blue and green, Large. I got back two similar shirts, same colors, but different makes! Would u go there ever again? It’s the closest place to my abode, so I’ll do my own laundry, but beware!

Tried their dry cleaning. My bright white jacket came back with a pink tint. There were also new stains on the jacket. My sweater had new lint on it. I would be shamed to return clothing to a customer in such quality. Did I mention I asked them to replace buttons on a jacket, but they instead just took them off? Never going there again.

They steal your clothes! Do it yourself laundry is fine, but do not using their washing service. I’ve dropped off clothes twice, and each time a piece of expensive clothing was missing when it was returned. A friend overheard them talking about how the employees use the washing service as their own shopping mall to find new clothes.

This place is great. My partner and I come here about once a week. It’s spacious, clean, reasonably priced(free drying!) and the attendants are all very friendly. Would highly recommend.

I recently moved to NH to finish my degree at SCSU. After completing a web search I found that Top Kat was conveniently open 24 hours and Renee(the employee on duty at the time) was very pleasant. I called prior to dropping off my laundry to ask questions and then proceeded to sort my clothing, separate them, gather my laundry detergent/softener, and make my way to the laundromat. Although Renee reassured me that she takes pride in reading each label and handle their customer’s clothing with care, I would soon find out I was deceived. Upon return of my items my comforter was torn, all of my clothing including towels had pink spots on them, and the zipper found broken on a pair of brand new jeans. The day after I picked them up, I reached out to Renee to formally complain, but she insisted on arguing with me about the issue. I asked her for her supervisors number(after another argument) she gave me the owners number. Since November 19th(now December 30 th) I have left numerous messages with the owner who has refused to return one single phone call. The owner insists on using Renee as the«mediator», but it’s clear as day that Renee is confused and as annoyed as I am with the issue. On December 18th(a month later) Renee asked me to bring my clothing back for review. Weeks later, no response to my calls or voice mails… Today(Dec. 30th) I left a message with the owner stating I’d have to take this into legal matters if the issue isn’t rectified. To my surprise, I received yet another phone call from Renee stating I should go and pick up my clothing(although nothing has been done) because, according to her«I decided to make this a legal matter». Smh! Unfortunately, this wasn’t a legal matter and I clearly stated I wanted a resolve before I’d have to make it one. I am filled with the utmost disappointment to have dealt with such a terribly ran business and business owner, feeling neglected and ignored, and basically«shit out of luck». I would have appreciated a returned phone call from the owners and the matter being handled instead of swept under the rug and ignored. If you’re reading this in hopes of finding a superb drop off/pick up laundromat, I would advise going to Super Wash Laundry at 606 Main St in East Haven(203−466−7100). I must say of all the places I’ve been to they did a phenomenal job at reading the labels, caring for my garments, folding, separating and organizing my laundry in less than 24 hours. Not to mention the staff was amazing. All I requested from Top Kat is to have this issue rectified. They have terrible customer service and terrible business ethic. It’s really sad.

If i wasn’t so honest I would give them 0 stars because laundry puts me in a terrible mood but they are friendly, spacious, and offer free drying. They did save my clothes that I was not able to get back to pick up before they closed, so they get an extra star, but it could be a little cleaner…

Top Kat has been a pretty good experience for me the handful of times I’ve used them. They have plenty of machines, and some really large ones which make for a much easier time doing massive quantities of clothes. It really couldn’t be any easier to do laundry here. Just put your money in the machine, get the card, and swipe it. That’s it. The people who work here can be a little crabby sometimes, but they’re not mean. And besides, they work in a laundromat. I don’t expect or want them to blow sunshine up my arse. Now that I live in a place with our own free washer and dryer, I don’t need to use Top Kat anymore, but I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if I ever needed to. Plus, as a bonus, Delaney’s is just a couple minutes down the street, so if you don’t want to sit in the laundromat and watch the spin cycle, you can always go grab a beer or two while you’re waiting…
