KFC

This place is dirty and what appeared to be mold on the pop machine. Pointed out the mold to the manager who could care less and went back to working the register. Asked for a refund and did not eat the food.

Stay away from this KFC!!! I love KFC, I eat there quite often in other towns and villages. Tried this one out and have been ruined from KFC in general for awhile as I just had another bad experience with the same Ms. Assistant as before. The GM and I had a pretty indept conversation about this Manager and was assured it wouldn’t happen again. Now after this evening either he said nothing to A.M. OR she has a hard time listening. Rude Underling Managers running night shifts at this location!!! I will be calling the GM back today when he should be there and will most likely get District Manager’s name and number later on today. I agree whole heartedly with John P. review below

Hunger pains were calling and I needed chicken. Since they have a buffet this was the stop. It can be hit or miss at this place. I got lucky it was a better day. Plenty of chicken, regular and extra crispy. They were short on legs as most everyone was asking for them. I am happy with breasts and thighs. The slaw was good also. I had my fill and a happy belly.

Somehow my Google review was taken down and that really ticks me off. I live one minute from this KFC and have been there three times. I get off work late, around 7:30, and sometimes my wife and I have a Fried chicken craving. We gave this KFC three chances. Ever time I went for fried chicken a full hour or more before closing time I was told that I couldn’t get the chicken I wanted because they stopped frying so they wouldn’t have to throw any away! 1.5 hours before closing!!!
I understand the concept of not being wasteful, but come on! Why stay open another hour and a half if you only can serve coleslaw and instant potatoes???
I can only assume that the owners do not know they have a lazy manager who basically gets all the closing duties done super early so he/​she can leave right when the store closes. Sad.
My wife and I order the Broasted chicken from Pizza Mia New Lenox now usually once a week. Killer yard bird and they bring it to me! I wonder what they ‘ll put at the KFC location next… I hope it’s a Starbucks!

Chicken ok, But the Frozen coleslaw was what ruined it. And of course I wasn’t driving 7 miles back for an exchange. In the past I’ve enjoyed meals here. The kitchen is very clean.

Is it just me or is KFC not nearly as good as they were years ago? We have been going here for many years and although I am usually okay with their food, today I noticed that the mashed potatoes hardly had any gravy on them… and let’s face it, the gravy is what makes the dish.
The staff are all friendly and the overall value is good, but I just wish they would step it up a notch.

So the first thing that I notice is they got rid of Pepsi? Really. Who drinks Sprite anymore except your grandmother. The place was not packed, but the buffet was a bit slow in getting the product out. Every time I come here there is one leg to be had for the whole time I am there. Good bird and slaw but they need to give you a choice on the soda.
