Had a surprisingly wonderful dinner with the family. Great chowders and nice fresh and light salads. Casual atmosphere with high end food. My family loved the lobster roll.

Please don’t go here. Such a tourist trap. $ 18 for a thin tiny pizza. $ 9 for a avg white wine. No happy hour discounts. Awful ambiance. Bill came to over $ 40 and we had to go get more food!!! Go to third wave please please please. TOURISTTRAP!!!

Lobster roll not worth the price. I had to have it because it’s a vacation go-to for me, and am willing to foot the bill usually, but the size and bun was disappointing. Service was super. Staff was great.

I can’t really say enough abut this place. First — the food was delicious. My husband had the lobster roll and I had the fire grilled cheese sandwich. We ate every spec of food. But the service is where they excelled even more. One gentlemen(manager or owner? Not sure which one?) offered to let our 3 year old daughter«make» her own pizza. She ordered a grilled cheese so they basically gave us a free pizza. He brought out a plate with dough, cheese and pepperoni that she could use to put it together, put it in the oven then let her«help» pull it out of the oven. Amazing! And delicious! She is still talking about it!

My wife and I got there right at closing time on a Wednesday night. We were treated awesomely and without hesitation by a super-friendly staff. We each had one of the unbelievable wood-fired pizzas and then some after-dinner gelatos. One word… delicious! The beer selection was great as well. Everything was on point and we will be back! Rave reviews all the way around!

Stopped in specifically to get lobster rolls. We were not disappointed! Plenty of lobster meat and a great little Caesar side salad. A little pricey but it’s not something we can find easily at home in Ohio. The man working at the counter was super nice and offered us coupons for ice cream. We got gelato before heading out. All of it is made on site. The 3 of us tried pistachio, espresso, and strawberry. They were all so good! Will definitely try to come back before vacation is over!

Incredibly overpriced — had we not been so tired and hungry and unfamiliar with other nearby places we would have left without ordering. Pizzas are 12″(described as «personal») and there is not a single one priced less than $ 16. We ordered the Margherita pizza which came without sauce– this pizza would typically have some kind of red sauce. The crust was too thick for wood fired pizza and should have been cooked longer. It did not have much flavor. I would not expect pizza perfection had I not paid $ 17 for that 12″ pizza. We also ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich from the kids menu. It was $ 7.25, also high for a counter-order café w tables barely large enough for two people. They have a case of what looks like gelato but is ice cream. It was ok. I can compliment their staff. They were very courteous and attentive. This place feels like a tourist trap.

Went in to try the lobster roll and left a little disappointed. Pizza and Cesar salad was actually tastier!

$ 48 for 2 subs and 12 wings! They don’t have pricing on the drive through menu either. They gave us 9 wings instead of 12. To top it all off, the old lady taking our order was rude as ever and acted like a crackhead. I think it’s pretty unethical to charge those types of prices WITHOUT advertising the price on their menu. The $ 16 turkey wrap was decent but the $ 13 meatball sub was garbage. We paid extra for cheese and they hardly sprinkled it on there. The wings were burned and as stated before, they shorted us 3 wings. Normally I wouldn’t be as disappointed, however, if I’m paying $ 48 for 2 sandwiches and 12 wings, then I expect just a little bit better. SERIOUSLYLOOKSOMEWHEREELSE. Great lobster rolls but very pricey. Paid half the price for a lobster roll at Disney world… go figure

Tough one. Round up or down? 3.5… I love me a good lobster roll. There’s days that I’m on the hunt when we are by the beach because it just seems like the right thing to do. Actually, seafood dining and beach dining go together like PB&J… I won’t deny that the lobster roll is great. Is it THE best one I’ve had? No… Here’s my thing… Is it $ 30ish great? Idk. I guess it all depends on how bad you want it. Here’s what I don’t understand… The regular is roughly $ 22 but for the bargain price you can double the meat for roughly $ 6…Doing the math, something just doesn’t appear quite right. If the meat is the bulk of the cost and doubling it is a fraction of the cost then it’s one of those things that make you go hmmmm. It does come with a small Caesar salad which is like a consolation prize. Looking back at older pictures, it appears to be shrinking. Our(adult) kids had the mahi tacos. They had nothing nice to say about them. They were starving, so they ate. I took a bite of one and I wouldn’t order it again. Just way too many flavors that didn’t work well for me either. I think the cost was roughly $ 16 – 18? The owner is nice. Like very nice! The concept is cutely cramped. The tables outside are unstable and people use napkins to try and balance them. That’s an accident waiting to happen when someone ends up with hot soup in their lap. Speaking of the soup, I like them. The crab corn chowder is very good so is the black bean. My hubby digs the New England Clam Chowder. I’d love to see this place do like a lobster macaroni and cheese. I’d probably order it all the time! How about a lobster pizza? Honestly, if it weren’t for the Mahi Tacos, I’d probably give it four stars. I just compare them to my five star place in California and can’t give up the fifth star here. It’s definitely worth a try, just expect the $$$.

DELICIOUS, lobster rolls are amazing. Only problem is that this place is $$$$$, we dropped $ 100 there for 3 people, split the roll, bowl soup and grilled cheese and lobster sammie. 2 beers 1 soda, 3 ice creams. Worth it for a SPECIALTREAT

Not fancy but I love the lobster rolls, both cold and warm. The NEW pizza side is good as well. Awesome chowder and bisque. This is definitely worth the effort to go! Highly recommend!!!

Decided to check this place out for lunch based on reviews and our craving for lobster rolls. Having spent more than 10 years in Boston has given me a keen appreciation for the simple elegance of a lobster roll. Rich lobster meat mixed with a little mayo, spices and potentially celery, stuffed into a buttered NE hot dog roll. It is literally the taste of summer in Cape Cod and most of Maine. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but what this place served fell short. The lobster was solid with just enough mayo, but the bun was toasted and hard, with no trace of butter and it certainly wasn’t overflowing. My wife had it warm with butter and also commented it was only ok. The lobster bisque is VERY good and I would recommend it, along with a solid clam chowder. Avoid the salads — average at best and no imagination. Prices are very high in general, especially for a quick serve place($ 6.95 for a smoothie?!?) Service was solid but you could tell the waitstaff was either tired or unmotivated. I noticed the place is for sale, which may reflect what we experienced… Overall this was good, but there are much better options in the area.

I have heard rants and raves about this lobster roll so I had to try it. We ordered it with double meat for $ 6.00 more. It was $ 30 all together with tax for one particularly small lobster roll. I would consider myself a lobster roll connoisseur being from up north. This was average. The bun would’ve been a lot better toasted or brushed with butter! Steve the owner was great to speak with though and I’m definitely going to go back and give it another shot.

Wednesday around 5:00pm. This is a cute little place with outside patio seating. It was a bit too windy/cold so I opted to sit inside. Plenty of seating and cute decors. The staff are nice and welcoming! I had called prior to going here since there was a $ 5 off coupon on Unilocal which stated to call. The lady who picked up told me I can just mention it when I get there so I did and bam, saved $ 5! Ordered the clam chowder cup and the regular lobster roll with a side of caesar salad. Oh my gosh, the clam chowder was bomb! I’m from Boston and man oh man, haven’t found a good clam chowder elsewhere! I like my chowder a tad thick but not too much. It was fill of soft potatoes and fresh chunks of clam. Seasoning was on point! I’d recommend this one! The lobster roll was okay. Lots of meat but a bit plain. I got it cold since I’m not a huge fan of butter but the cold butter they served on the side was awesome! It had some sort of sweetness and paprika to it. I ended up dabbing my lobster in it. Maybe the hot version is better? Side salad was a good potion. Lots of cheese and generous caesar sauce. The romaine could’ve been fresher but that wasn’t the main course. I’d recommend the clam chowder if anything, hence 4 stars! The whole meal turned out to be roughly $ 30 with tip and the $ 5 off.

Lobster bisque is perfection. Very few chowder places add sherry which is a cardinal sin. Not only do the add the perfect amount of sherry, but they aren’t shy with the garlic. I didn’t lick the bowl out of respect for the other patrons. Additionally, they make their own gelato. Don’t leave without trying this treat. They have a proper pizza oven and a bar seat affords the opportunity to watch the pizzaiolo at work. The kitchen is clean, the staff is really friendly, it is a fabulous place to dine.

Do yourself a favor and ignore the other reviews on the site. First, everyone working in the café were super nice and helpful. The food is tremendous. I am from Boston so I have a very high expectation when it comes to lobster rolls. It was the best I have ever had and that is exaggeration. It was a full pound of very fresh delicate sweet lobster, I ordered mine warm with drawn butter and my guest got the chilled Pune with light mayo. I had mine with a ice cold beer served in a chilled. And then for desert we both hadBlueberry Gelato, that is made on premises. In fact nearly the entire menu and ingredients are made on site. Don’t miss out on a great lunch or dinner at this fabulous eatery. And just so you know, I don’t work for the café or even know anyone that works there. So this review is the real thing.
