Love this place! For many years we walked or drove by and never bothered to stop. About 4 years back we stopped for lunch on Saturday after visiting the Farmer’s Market just down the road. Wonderful & friendly staff, good size portions so you leave satisfied, yummy food, a great variety so everyone is happy. They always have interesting specials posted on the board. If you sit outside, there are great street views, people can bring their furry friends. Just a great place to stop for a cup of coffee or a full meal. We have been going a couple of times each month and always look forward to going. Good quality, always consistent in what is offered and served.

If you need a coffee and a special treat try the grilled muffin — blueberry or banana nut! I have been back three times now in the past month! the service can be a bit slow when busy, they need more then two servers in the morning, but well worth the wait. The coffee is decent also!

If your looking for ordinary this is the place. Not to say the food was bad it’s not — it’s just nothing special. I had the Reuben which was very tender served with a bag of chips. Personally … I can’t stand bagged chips. Daughter had waffle which was very tasty and had a few chocolate chips thrown on top. Like I said, nothing special — just ordinary. Not expensive

We went for lunch on a Thursday. Lunch wasn’t great at all. We had a meatball sandwich, pot pie, and steak and cheese sandwich. The breakfast menu looked good and might go back to try that but not going back for lunch anymore.

Went to Jason’s Corner Saturday evening. I ordered the special — Lobster Shrimp Angel($ 20) and my husband ordered the Crab Stuffed Shrimp($ 18ish). What a disappointment. My «special» came with 4 whole shrimp, 7 less than bite size pieces of lobster on a pile of angel hair pasta and a side of roasted vegetables which was served on a separate small plate and looked like someone had picked all the good vegetables out of it — no kidding. My husbands dinner came to the table and had to be sent back because the shrimp wasn’t cooked. When completed — it was delicious. However, we were quite surprised he wasn’t offered a cup of soup or something small to keep him tied until his dish was cooked. Needless to say, I was finished eating before he even began.

Burger is very good with many options for toppings and sides. Red potatoes were very good. My husband had the crab cake sandwich which was jusy okay. His roasted vegetables were very good though. Service as usual was great.

Brought here for brunch by friends who had enjoyed it previously. Unique menu with enough basics to satisfy those less adventurous. Portions were sufficient; no heaping plates of comfort food and modest enough to satisfy. Very quaint building with an open patio. Obviously popular with both locals and visitors. Prices are average but service was hit or miss. Some waitresses were friendly while ours was not so much. Worth stopping in. You’ll be satisfied when you leave without being over stuffed.

Rude, rude, rude. The hostess was extremely rude upon greeting us, complained she had to clear a booth for us then threw the menus on the table. We waited for quite awhile– it wasn’t terribly busy– when the waitress finally came over we had mad up our minds and began to order. I’ll have the corn & crab soup. We just ran out.(It was 2:00 in the afternoon) Ok, I’ll just have the crab cake sandwich. We’re out. Seriously? We are waiting on a delivery… I’ll just give you a minute. And then she was gone– no mention of anything else they may or may not have been out of. We left.

Nice place to stop on Canal St for breakfast or lunch the food is pretty good and nice prices I’ve noticed a few times though the service can be slow and if they are busy some staff need an attitude adjustment at times. I will continue to go back though especially for breakfast.

This place was a lot better. Food is OK but not great. Service a bit slow. Unfriendly manager treated some folks in a rude manor. Have considered this restaurant a good standby. But food, service and atmosphere slipping

Went for lunch on a Friday. They serve breakfast until 1pm. I had the chicken/portabella sandwich served on focaccia bread. It came with a choice of side… macaroni salad, potato salad, potato chips. I chose the macaroni salad. The whole meal was just ok. Nothing spectacular. With there being so many other options in New Smyrna, I doubt I would return. Service was friendly and efficient. Restaurant is very clean and décor is up to date. There is street parking for free.

I have been to Jason’s on a few occasions and have never found it to be exceptional. I am writing this review today to tell you of the instance that will confirm that I will not return. I was holding a lunch meeting, I did place and order, I did let the server know that I would tip her generously. I was wrapping up the meeting and the .I assume. owner came by to clear my dishes, asked if we were holding a meeting and I said yes. A few minutes(like 3) she came back by to inform me that she had people waiting and she was not renting office space. The server was a joy and by no means is this a reflection on her, my only recommendation is to find a né place of employment where you will truly be appreciated.

Literally a block away from the water, Jason’s Corner is truly a Gem to be admired in NSB. What is Jason’s Corner? I would compare it to Toojays Deli except that the menu is not as extensive and that’s probably a good thing. They offer local food items, and that’ what I was hoping to try, in particular their blue crab eggs benedict. Make no mistake, this is different, but it is delicious. You will never look at eggs benedict the same way again. The outside area is exceedingly pleasant with the bright red flowers they have hanging, truly beautiful on a sunny day. Service was friendly, and quick, the only reason why I’m deducting a start is because the country potatoes that came as a side were really not good. They weren’t crispy and didn’t have much flavor. It’s like they boiled potatoes and tossed it on the griddle for a few seconds. I tried saving it by adding salt and hot sauce and that still didn’t really help. You would think that after all the trouble they go through to make such a stupendous dish like the crab benedict, they’d try a little hard with their potatoes no? Anyway; I still would recommend this place to anyone. Try the crab benedict; you’ll be in for a real treat.

This is a great location for breakfast on Canal Street. I’ve been here several times and have always had great service and consistently good food. Lots of locals always coming in and out that’s usually a good sign. All the servers are smiling and very friendly and you never feel rushed. I’ve eaten omelets pancakes and waffles and have never been disappointed. It can get a little crowded on the weekend but parking is never a problem. It’s also offers a few choice tables out front and is a great place to strike up a conversation with a new friend and always provides great people watching opportunities.

I’ve eaten here several times in the past few months. The service is great and the food is delicious. The crab benedict is something you have to try for breakfast! This afternoon, I went comfort food with the chicken pot pie. Very, very tasty… made with a light, flakey pastry instead of the traditional heavy, thick pie crust. Jason’s corner is a must to do when in NSB. A great location on Canal street in historic downtown. Enjoy!

This is a good place for breakfast or brunch. The waffles are outstanding, as was the crab benedict. They have many great choices on the breakfast menu.

Wow… I knew they were swamped today due to the Images festival but our lunch took over 45 minutes, they forgot my side dish and sandwich was wimpy and greasy. And no apologies by our waiter. Never going back there.
