The view is outstanding, the burgers are delicious, the fries are hot, salty and greasy, just how a fry is suppose to be. I had the jalapeño burger which is adorned with fresh jalapeño (not those soggy, faded pickled jalapenos in a jar). This burger is bursting with flavor. I tried the cheeseburger, not nearly as flavorful, went back to the subtle heat.
It is seat yourself so jump on any seat with a view.

I ordered the Jalapeño burger and it was crazy good. They bring you the sauce on the side and I made my own ketchup+mayo+mustard just like the In-​n-​out spread: P

The service was great– and the food was awesome! We had the mahi sandwich. It was super busy when we got there but they were kind and got our party of 7 to sit together. I would recommend this place.

Great View! But that’s about it!
Don’t expect any great Happy Hour deal, it’s just $ 0.50 a couple beers.
Frozen piña colada had no piña nor flavor
We ordered the nachos to start, unfortunately the tortilla chips were served with fake cheese over olives and jalapeños.
I would says its a great place for drinking and people watching if you can get a window seat!

Decent burgers with a great location. The steamed shrimp appetizer is a must have! The corn nuggets are homey and yummy, I wish they had a homemade dipping sauce, not ranch. It’s a seat yourself joint and very popular. It’s a great place to bring a kid because it’s so loud, they can be themselves!

We loved the burgers, loved the location and loved the servers! The view gets 5 stars!

The burgers are AWESOME, topped however you want, and cooked to perfection. You also can’t beat the view. However be prepared to wait (it’s worth it,) unfortunately the service is pretty lackluster. Slow, impersonal, and not really friendly. Go for the burger and the view!

Day visit to beach. Raining off and on. Decided to stay in but wanted a view. Breakers has the best view around. Sat by window and watched the waves and birds. Disappointed no bikini girls on beach though. Had one of their famous burgers. It was superb. Waitress Cora was very friendly and attentive.
Side note took a short trip down the road to Chases just to check it out. Had a drink at the bar. Barmaid spent most of her time chatting with some guy at end of bar ignoring me unlike Breakers.

It’s fun and wonderful to watch folks and birds on the beach. Food is fried mostly, but the fried fish is fresh and some of the best we had in town. French fries great too. If you want greasy food and a fab view, this is the place. The waitress was nice and very very efficient for such a wild place.

Old time local favorite spot on the sand to eat a good blackened mahi sandwuch and cold beer. Great view of New Smyrna beach and the Atlantic. Atmosphere is beach casual. Excellent place to watch a full super moon rise. Ample auto and motorcycle parking available.

Locally loved. we were referred to this place because of the highly recommended burgers on the beach location. Its a hole in the wall place with a million dollar view and a casual menu. It was National Cheeseburger Day so we were excited to try their burgers. Mine was cooked perfectly, but it lacked in character. I got the mushroom and cheese one but my husband’s fish and chips knocked my burger out the park. I think they used trout. I will go again. perhaps try a different burger or suggest someone else to and I will taste theirs. I am getting the fish next time!

There are few restaurants in the world that have a view like this one! There is no better place in new Smyrna to sit and have a drink than their bar by the beach with open windows and a nice breeze. Do it at happy hour and order their key lime steamed shrimp and life doesn’t get much better.
That’s the good (the really good), but unfortunately if one were to sit inside, it feels like an old rundown bar. Drinks come in disposable plastic cups, and the silverware matches. My wife ordered a strawberry daiquiri, it was bland and best described as «ok, I guess.» The other food we had was about the same. Ok bar food. The steamed shrimp were great, we went back a few times for them and the view.
It’s a cool place and worth stopping for a drink and snack, but I wouldn’t go here for dinner again.

Oh, the burger… the corn nuggets… and the steamed shrimp appetizer! Yum, yum, yum! My partner got the burger and it looked/​tasted amazing. He enjoyed the potato salad so much, I didn’t get a taste. I ordered the shrimp as my meal with cajun seasoning, and it was glorious. The shrimp was so fresh, plump, and sweet. I can’t get over how yummy the corn nuggets are too. Still fantasizing about them… Drinks are tasty and strong as well. Views are priceless, right on the beach. Free parking. Love this place!

Best peel and eat shrimp I’ve had in a long time. Cajun style was amazing. Sit in the stools facing the ocean and it’s a nice view with a breeze as well. Staff was super friendly and never rushed me out. In fact, they replaced my iced tea before I knew I needed a refill. Server was attentive and frequently asked if we needed anything else. We ate there twice and both times weren’t rushed out even though we sat for a while. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend.

I might be biased because I’ve been coming here since I was an infant but they have the best burgers I’ve ever tried and I have been all over. Seriously, this is the best burger on the planet. Great atmosphere, cold drinks and a pristine view of the beach. What’s not to love? The only downside is if they are busy you might wait a while, but who minds waiting for perfection?

Went here with my friends in New Smyrna. It was our first time in and we wanted to try something new. I knew ahead of time it was going to be crowded because our friends mentioned it was a popular spot. And they were right.
Originally we were going to get the bar stool seats that look at the ocean but figured we wanted something a bit more comfortable so we opted for a table in the back.
Service was pretty spot on! With the craziness of the amount of people I was pretty surprised how fast the servers and cooks were. Orders came out fast and waitress made sure we always had water/​drinks.
However, the three stars comes from the food itself. I got the fish and chips and was completely underwhelmed. The fries (chips) were actually not bad but the fish was. YUCK. The breading was VERY weird and the first time I had a breading like this on any fried fish. I can’t explain it but the fish lacked a certain «crunch» to it. I even saw parts of the fish that still had skin on it. Unappetizing. Shouldn’t a place by the ocean have better fish??? All in all I guess it’s what you get from a little joint by the sea.

From the outside it says tourist trap all over it. Right on beach just north of beach shelter. Big bay windows that you can sit at inside and look out at beach. Even the inside has tourist trap written on it. there’s a long oval bar and tables and tall bar tables. it is a sit yourself situation and as we walked in we were lucky enough to spot a table opening up at the window. There is plenty of special drinks to choose from and we got rumrunners that had plenty of rum. started with peel and eat shrimp with Key lime seasoning. Didn’t think at the time but the seasoning is on shrimps skin that you peel off. would have been better to have seasoning we could sprinkle on AFTER peeling. then for entrée we got the Mahi sandwich, blackened. WOW. fantastic, two huge pieces of fish perfectly seasoned with all the trimmings. cant imagine the meal having a bigger piece of fish. In the end this is NOT a tourist trap it has good food and drink and the prices are pretty reasonable for being right on the beach.

A NSB staple!
My parents brought me here when I was a kid and I still make it out every time we come out for a weekend.
The décor is divey but the food is LEGIT. They have been named best Central Florida burger by the Orlando Sentinel for years and years. I will warn you that I love spicy food but the Inferno burger almost killed me… I finished my beer, my fiancée’s beer and 2 glasses of water just to try and dull the pain inflicted by the sauce. Get it on the side and give it a try yourself if you’re feeling brave!
The staff are nice and efficient although some are rough around the edges. I usually drink beer but the fiancée drank a piña colada last time and said it was really strong and delicious.
And it’s on the beach but since it’s right on Flagler Ave, the parking can be a mess. Their parking lot is tiny and they cram a lot of cars in a little area but you may need to park somewhere else and walk over.
If you’re in the area, this is a great lunch spot with awesome views of the beach.

Everything was excellent. Started with the corn fritters which were great. Don’t know why we don’t have more stuff like that in Indiana since we have tons of corn (I know most of it isn’t sweet corn, but come on).
My wife had the fish and chips. They were light crisp and flavorful. Big pieces of fish too. I had the four cheese burger. It was an outstanding burger. The fries were great.
Beer selection was just decent but had two local brews on tap, so not terrible.
This is an amazing spot by the beach. Everyone should check it out
