I had the imported Brie & Apple on walnut raisin bread. It also had a green leaf vegetable. I had it toasted. It was very good. The only negative was the serving was small, however it was not expensive. They were also giving away free samples of eggplant with fresh mozzarella. That was also good. Nice place for a quick lite bite at Chelsea Market

What a mess! Problem #1: I ordered a «grilled» cheddar and ham biscuit. The lady asked me: do you want hot? I said: YES. Simple right? Well, came with meted cheese outside and dead cold inside. Problem #2: my wife ordered one of their breakfast specials. That was supposed to come with jam and bread and some other stuff. The pot of jam came open and ½ full. I went to complain. The lady said: oooo o thought something was wrong with that Jam!!! Really ??? Come’on!!! Problem #3: I asked 2 cappuccinos, the lady forgot to add to our order and didn’t know how to fix in the register the freaking order! At that point I just gave up! Amy’s Bread??! See you again Never!

I like this bakery very much, especially when they give away free produce every day just before closing. So nice and friendly !

Grabbed a coffee and a pistachio pastry on my way out of New York, yummy but a bit pricey.

Located inside Chelsea market — one of the first bakeries you see on the left when you enter. There’s not a lot of Seating(only 8 stools along the windowsill) There are lots of baked goods however i did not get the opportunity to try them because everyone was super rushed. I totally understand that it was a cold and busy day but it was so chaotic… And the barista and cashier weren’t the most friendly… It also took such a long time to get our coffee. The coffee also tasted super burnt(2⁄5) but it was warm which is what we needed in 1 degree weather. The interior is really cute and home-y just not sure if it’s worth spending money on an average cup of coffee.

There is nothing that satisfies quite like the chocolate sourdough twist at Amy’s Bread

Amy’s Bread is a bakery located in the Chelsea Market(they have other locations as well). I tried a red velvet cupcake and a slice of the apple pie. I was a bit disappointed by both items! The red velvet cupcake was a bit too dry for my tastes. The icing on the top tasted more like tasteless whipped cream to me. I was not a huge fan of this cupcake. The apple pie was decent but definitely on the super sweet side. I had about two bites before I decided I couldn’t eat any more pie. I liked the crust though. It was very crumbly.

Minus one star because the service was very slow and I asked for a cup of water but didn’t get one. Located in Chelsea Market, I ordered the ham and cheddar on a biscuit and an apricot danish. The warm biscuit was delicious and the danish was nice and flaky. Would definitely recommend as a nice breakfast spot.

I had a delicious chocolate croissant here. Light and flakey with the perfect amount of chocolate. Came with several people, all enjoyed their baked goods and coffees. Prices seem fair. Knocking one star because they did make my brother the wrong drink at first, but they happily corrected it.

I came here after hearing/reading all the rave reviews about this place but walked away unfulfilled. I got: — cinnamon challah(sp?): it was stale, like I had to rip the pieces apart with my teeth caveman style, and tasted like a cinnamon bun. Nothing special — almond brioche toast: very greasy and the almond flavor didn’t really come out — hazel nut mini loaf: dry and didn’t have much flavor — loaf of French bread: okay, most decent thing I ordered out of the four Maybe I should have stuck with the sweets because that’s what most people raved about but I was understand the impression that their bread was going to be good based on the name. Probably won’t be back to try anything else.

If you’re looking for a cupcake, sure it’s possible they might have good options. But their actual bread options — at Amy’s Bread — fall far short of the hype. Having tried here the croissant, and later the baguette and sandwiches, it’s only alright. You can find breads of this quality all over the city, and for far cheaper(and a shorter wait). Made the mistake of coming here for breakfast with a few friends, and left having spent a lot of money for extraordinarily average bread. At least they accept credit cards with no minimum?

Maybe I got the wrong thing? While waiting for some friends to go to the Highline, I walked into Chelsea Market looking for a snack. They had a pretty long line, so that had to be the sign of something good, right? The ordering process can be a bit confusing, since they’ll just randomly ask from behind the counter. I had originally asked for a ham and cheese on a croissant, only to be told that they ran out. That’s fine. But no need to give me an attitude for not knowing! Instead, I opted for the French ham and butter. I wish I had more time to explore my options, but I was being rushed. My sandwich was so disappointing. It was really just bread, butter, ham and some pickles(not my cup of tea. I could’ve sworn one of the pickles had an ice chip on it — how?!) I can understand that some places can get by with a simple menu if they have fresh ingredients, but not this place. The butter was cold and unevenly distributed. The bread was hard to bite into, and there were quite a few air pockets in there that left me with just the crust. Even after reading the other reviews raving about this place, I don’t think I’ll be back. On the plus side, there was a nice cashier…

I was told I needed to try their chocolate cupcake and my friend was correct… it is amazing. For less than $ 3, you get a high quality cupcake. There is plenty of seating at this location. They have breads, sandwiches, cake slices, coffee, cookies, etc. The staff was friendly and efficient. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and it was quiet. The rest of Chelsea Market was a madhouse! Overall, the baked goods are good and reasonably priced. They have multiple locations around Manhattan.

I don’t know what your looking for but go ahead and walk into this spot and find a treat. I love the breads. It’s affordable for quality, flavorful, flaky bread. I walked out with five different ones. Sometimes you have to have variety in your life! Today was that day for me. Great customer service. Then coffee is based out of Seattle. I felt like home here. She has cookbooks! Check them out. I hope the next one is with my company…

I was quite disappointed with this place after wanting to try it for a while & seeing all the lovely photos on Unilocal! There didn’t seem to be a lot of choice when I went in. I had already decided that I wanted a ham & cheese biscuit sandwich, but when I queried if they had any biscuit sandwiches they only offered me a cheese or country biscuit. I went for the country biscuit. It was cold, I was kind of hoping to have it warm with some cream cheese. It was relatively tasteless and only made better with the side of cream cheese. There didn’t seem to be a lot of pastries as a dessert either, no sticky buns! I probably wouldn’t bother trying Amy’s Bread when there are so many other options in Chelsea Market.

O what a cute and lovely little bread spot at the chelsea market. Anything from cupcakes, cookies, and pies to cinnamon raisin bread & breakfast pizzas… yummmm =D My choice for today was the spinach and mushroom quiche. About the size of my palm, they warmed it up for me before they packed it up. Why. thank you =) Great staff and great breads. Love this place.
