Just ordered a big pack of 25 for Father’s day. Granted, the ones that we got were decent, but the order was ENTIRELY wrong!!! We ordered a mix of 5 different flavors, but got 5 of the basic glazed that we ordered, 5 of the wrong chocolate mix, and then FIFTEEN cinnamon sugar. None of the other two specialty flavors, which were the main two that we wanted.
On top of it, the staff was not what I would consider helpful or attentive. And like I said, the donuts were decent, but I didn’t think they were anything special especially considering the price

If you’re in Chelsea Market this place is a MUST! It’s the perfect little pick-​me-​up. You can eat them while walking around the market or taking a stroll on the high-​line. You can’t go wrong with the 6piece where you can pick 2 flavors, It’s the perfect amount and you get 3 of each.
Go check them out, you won’t regret it.

I’ve heard great things about this place and wanted to give it a whirl. Seeing how they were delivering for one day only to my area I seized my opportunity and ordered. However, I was unaware that this place did only mini-​doughnuts. There is a world of difference between a regular doughnut and a mini-​doughnut. When the description says «Get two half-​dozen assorted boxes for the price of one! Each box will contain an assortment of Cinnamon Sugar and/​or Vanilla Glaze donuts.» A guy can be forgiven for assuming he will get 12 regular doughnuts and not 12 mini-​doughnuts when he orders 12 doughnuts and not 12 mini-​doughnuts. They were very good, however.

Having heard great things about Doughnuttery (obviously not from Unilocal considering the shockingly low 3.5 star rating), I was super excited to try it out. This excitement was quickly subdued though upon finding it in Chelsea Market because I was expecting a classic doughnut. Although I didn’t get the classic doughnut I was looking forward to, I did get just as tasty of a doughnut as anticipated.
Doughnut style:
–These are no classic doughnuts. They are bite sized, sugared, and have an outer crunch while maintaining an inner fluffiness. The stand out twist is definitely the doughnut’s consistency. I still dream about that slight crunch followed by an immediate wave of airy dough. While I don’t know if I prefer these to a typical doughnut, there is no doubt that they are phenomenal.
Price vs. quality:
–Six dollars for six mini doughnuts is definitely in the relatively high price range considering you can usually get a normal sized doughnut for that price, but I ended up coming back for a second set of six doughnuts so for me the price was well worth the quality.
Flavors:
–They have an array of unique flavors so be sure to bring some friends when you come so you can try as many as possible. You’re allowed two flavors in an order of six doughnuts. In order from best to worst, I tried the cacaoboy, flower power, pumpkin pie brulee, and paris time. The only flavor that wasn’t outstanding was the paris time, but I think that’s because I’m not the biggest fan of lavender. The other three flavors were incredible though and not easy to rank against each other.

Overhyped and overpriced. It’s nice that the doughnuts are warm and made fresh but it was wayyy overpriced at a dollar per doughnut. The doughnuts can be eaten in one bite and are definitely not worth trying again, imo. I tried the Paris time and cacaoboy. I could barely taste anything besides sugar. Service was okay though. And they have a variety of different flavors.

Nothing beats warm, melt-​in-​your mouth doughnuts that came out and served right out of the fryer. Six for $ 6. Not bad.
Went with the basics, cinnamon and sugar.
But, these mini doughnuts absorb a lot of oil.
Lemonade was ok ($ 3 for a small size cup though).

Had an order of «Urban Monkey» … The staff was very pleasant, cool, laid back. Environment was nice, music was good. @6pm on Wed, throwback Chris brown.
The taste was on point, it tastes like what it is … However it’s kind of heavily sugared. They say «uniquely sugared» but to me it was kind of heavy.
Price is on the pricey side: $ 6 for 6 mini donuts. But it’s Chelsea market!!?
The only down to this spot is the HUGE group of tourists walking through the Market… So head down 15^th after 9^th towards 10^th and use their SIDE ENTRANCES to dodge tourists who are just walking very slowly and stopping in the middle of the walkways.

Most disappointing thing I have ever eaten in a VERY long time. Owner seemed very rude to her employees. She would speak to her employees in a very rude/​condescending tone. Felt very uncomfortable to watch. Donuts aren’t memorable and overpriced. Please avoid.

I have never seen such cute-​bite sized donuts before. Their self-​flipping donut frying machine is also pretty cool. Donuts made fresh on the spot!
The donuts themselves when freshly fried have a soft doughy inside and crispy outside. It seems like you need to eat them fresh and would taste not as great after an hour. For the flavors we chose the PBCP (Peanut Butter, Cayenne, Pretzles) and the Green Tea Buzz (Matcha Green Tea, Honey, Ginger). The flavors for the PBCP was kind of uneven because one of the donuts I could taste peanut butter and the other I couldn’t. I loved the slight taste of the cayenne though. Gave it the perfect subtle kick. I preferred the PBCP over the Green Tea Buzz. The Green Tea Buzz tastes nothing like matcha, mostly like sugar and ginger.
When they are hot and oily it’s harder to taste the various flavors. You should wait a few minutes for the donuts to cool off and let the flavors sink in.
The cheapest order is 6 for $ 6 and your choice of two different flavors. Compared to getting those huge donuts at Dough or Doughnut Plant, it’s kind of a bad deal, but this is the perfect opportunity for portion control. If you have to pay more for sugar, you can buy less of it and be more healthy!!! jkjk. would never happen… for me at least.

There’s better places to spend your money in Chelsea Market than at the Doughnuttery. If you want a doughnut, trek up to 23^rd St. for Doughnut Plant or even hunt down the Carpe Donut truck for their AMAZING apple cider donut with cinnamon sugar. This place is way overpriced at $ 1 per mini donut ($ 11 for a dozen).
I’m all for quality over quantity, but the quality simply doesn’t justify the price tag in this case. These mini donuts are roughly the size of a DD munchkin. Every batch is freshly fried right in front of you. You can’t get any fresher than that folks! They practically melt in your mouth, but the experience wasn’t particularly memorable in my opinion. For 6 donuts, you can choose up to 2 flavors. Pretty smart because it forces you to spend more money to try all of their other flavors. Ultimately, this food experience just doesn’t offer enough for me.
If you’re on Fb or IG, be sure to «like» them to score one free donut. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll think, «Nice, but I’m good.» This is a total hit it and quit it donut.

I am quite the sweet lover, and I try to go to the local places wherever on vacation. This donut shop is in the middle of the Chelsea market and allows you to pick one or two flavors if you order six mini donuts. You can pick more flavors if you order more donuts. Some of the combinations are exotic, but I picked the cinnamon covered ones and frosted ones. I’m pretty traditional with my tastes. The cinnamon flavored ones were great because they had just come out of the fryer and were still warm. The frosted ones, however, had cooled and were not as good as expected. I ended up not eating them all. Bring a couple friends and share the varieties if you’re looking for a snack.

These little doughnuts are delicious. Inside the chelsea market food court all the way to the back, lies this delicious place that serves these little pieces of heaven.
Types: I have tried: Cinnamon Sugar, Powdered sugar, Glazed, Glazed with Sprinkles, Fruity Cereal, and Green Tea. Cinnamon Sugar is hands down my favorite, followed by Glazed with Sprinkles.
If I am in chelsea markets I always stop and at least get six. I know, you must think I am fat, but they are small and I am not.

DELICIOUS! but the price is rather steep so minus one star. at 6 doughnuts for $ 6 i was always skeptical if they’re actually that good. and decided to finally try them since a friend was visiting. and yes they really are THAT good. we bought 6 and was immediately considering buying another 6 but we had some self control and decided against it lol. we did however go back the next morning and buy another dozen… so i guess we didn’t have self control after all.
pro-​tip: eat them once you get them best when they’re hot and slightly crispy on the outside!!!
favorites include: coco loco, urban monkey, mulled apple cider and speckled strawberry
the green tea was okay and i wasn’t a fan of the flower power
i’m interested in trying the other flavors but probably only when i’m have a really intense doughnut craving and willing to splurge. since my friend and i ate a dozen doughnuts in 3 minutes flat… sorry not sorry: P

$ 6 for 6 bite-​size doughnuts that they toss into different batches of powdered sugar for flavor. And we could only pick 2 if we’re buying 6 doughnuts. Even ice cream and gelato stores offer samples of their different flavors so I find it strange that Doughnuttery doesn’t, especially if it’s just powdered sugar.
I liked the doughnuts themselves (pure fried heaven) but not the flavors. The green tea had no green tea flavor. The pumpkin pie brûlée tasted like cinnamon toast crunch cereal. They do have a large selection of flavors but with their pricing scheme and method of adding flavors (powdered sugar), it’s not worth it.

This is NOT Dunkin Donuts. At about $ 6 for six minuscule, pinky sized fluffy fried pieces of sugary dough, pretend you are Tom Hanks in «Big» and take tiny little nibbles out of these tiny little doughnuts. There is something fascinating about watching them drop into tiny vats of bubbling oil as these tiny dough balls firm up into such tiny delights of decadence.
So so tiny.

Tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea Market lies Doughnuttery, a charming shop that churns out adorable mini donuts in a variety of unique flavors. Since they’re so small, they come in packs of 6 for $ 6 for up to 2 flavors. At $ 1 for such a tiny donut, this is more of a self-​indulgent treat than it should be a regular habit. Regardless, I was on vacation and going to treat myself.
The donuts are pre-​fried and are dusted with flavored sugars to achieve all the awesome flavors. The menu is widely varied and feature very distinctive flavors that are sure to fit up your alley someway, somehow. I opted for 3 PB&J donuts (self-​explanatory) and 3 Paris Time donuts (lavender, pistachio, vanilla).
Between the two, I can’t pick because I liked both of them. I kept going back and forth taking bites from each, trying to discern my favorite; but it was a stalemate. I’d recommend both. The donuts themselves are perfectly fried and crispy to the bite. Their being bite-​sized is quite dangerous, as you could pop 6 donuts without a care before realizing you ate 6 donuts, no matter the size… Like I did.
No ragrets.

2.5 stars. These mini donuts are overpriced for the quality :/​Really great concept with all the different flavors you can choose from, and so creative! I will give them that. However the quality of the donuts are just ok and I wasn’t too impressed.
A pack of 6 allows you two different flavors, so we opted for green tea and urban monkey
*Green tea seemed like matcha powder mixed with sugar. Not too much green tea flavor. Wouldn’t recommend this
*Urban monkey was a lot better– coffee, banana, coconut. Much more flavorful!
Hate to admit that I was the one who chose the green tea :((

I’ve had my eye on this place ever since I saw them featured on a must try donut list on Instagram. I was intrigued by their out of the ordinary sugar toppings especially the lavender, pistachio and vanilla combo. For 12 mini doughnuts, you pay $ 11 for a choice of 4 flavors. If you choose their plain flavors, then it’ll cost $ 10. This is pretty pricey for a dozen tiny doughnuts, but I paid for the hype.
I chose:
Lavender, pistachio, vanilla — this was by far the best flavor! The hint of lavender perfumed the doughnut ever so slightly with the nuttiness of the pistachio and the gourmet taste of the vanilla all worked so beautifully together.
Apple cider — eh it definitely does not taste like the cider donuts you get at the farm.
Pb&j — I didn’t taste much of the peanut butter and the grape flavoring was a little overpowering.
Matcha green tea — great concept, but it didn’t deliver on the matcha taste.
Overall, I wouldn’t pay this much money for these tiny doughnuts again. I’m glad I tried them, but they’re a little too extravagant for my budget. If you must try this place, then get the lavender, pistachio and vanilla flavored ones!

I like this place. The people are VERY friendly and they seem to like their job. We went after having tasty tacos down the way.
We were in need of a little tasty treat. I heard about this place from a co-​worker and I decided to finally check it out. It’s a cute little place hidden in the far back right when you walk into where the entrance is coming from the Chelsea Market area.
We walked up and go greeted yet we were in awww. I saw this powder like substance and I asked what it was, he said «fruity pebble» which I was like OH my that sounds amazing. I defiantly like me some fruity pebbles so we decided to get 6 of those and 6 of a cinnamon and sugar.
Let me just tell you the cinnamon and sugar wasn’t really all that tasty compared to the fruit pebble one. The fruit pebble was something out of this world. we finished them all 6 each person… 6 donuts were 11.00 bucks and well worth it. I enjoyed everything about this experience today.
If you are in Chelsea market take a few mins to stop by. You will NOT be disappointed. YUMMY in my tummy!
