This is probably the best Indian food I have ever eaten… The chicken tikka masala was off the chart. I will be back next time I visit New York.

Looked this up on Unilocal while in town and what a find! Clean, authentic, amazing Indian food. Absolutely delicious!

A casual restaurant located along Hells Kitchen. Excellent customer service & the food is great as well! Ordered the Shrimp Briyani, it was really flavourful & tasty.

Don’t judge it by the outside! This hole-in-the-wall joint has the tastiest Indian fare in midtown/Hell’s Kitchen — including restaurants three times the price. Fresh and savory and you can’t beat the prices — plus the service is great and delivery is fast. Highly recommend the tilapia lunch special.

I decided to go in here, and I struggled because from the outside it doesn’t look fancy. I feared it was pre-made but I am so glad I gave it a chance. I had chicken vindaloo and didn’t realize their heat scale is 1 – 100. I ordered hot, 60, and no sweat. But they brought out a small sauce to kick it up and it helped. Next time I go to 90. The naan and mango lassi were alright but what makes this a great place is the all white chicken and great prices. I also found the people that work there to be caring, honest and willing to do what they can to make it better. Don’t judge it by the exterior inside is a fantastic dining experience if you want great Indian food.

Worse food ever. Service was great and food came out quick but the food tasted bad. It lacked in flavor and the chicken tasted as if it was microwaved at least two times. The price they are charging for the bad quality food they serve was also crazy. Should’ve went for the truck food a block away. Definitely never coming back here again.

I decided to stop by and ordered takeout and got the chicken tikki with a side of cauliflower stewed vegetables with rice. Naan was not included although it says it comes with it on the menu. The chicken was dry and not very flavorful at all. The cauliflower had no flavor as well. The only thing that remotely had any flavor was the small salad they give you. This place reminded me why most of the food in Hell’s Kitchen sucks.

MmmMmMm delicious. They have a lunch special which was pretty cheap and way too much food(I believe you pick two entrees with either naan or basmati). I like the location and that they were open early– we were planning to get early brunch and ended up here.

Places like this makes me love dining around Hell’s kitchen. I dined here for a quick dinner and this place was able to give me lots of food without the frills. I would come back again if I ever was around.

We needed a quick bite off Port Authority. But food tasted bland and was strictly ok. With the choice of quality Indian food in Lexington Ave and Manhattan, you can surely afford to miss this restaurant.

By far the most bland and tasteless Indian food I’ve ever had. The chicken must have been marinated in air & water. The much special was almost $ 10 and was tiny. Can’t ever remember finishing an Indian meal & not being full.

This is a nice little place, with potential to become a great nice little place. We had a very good chicken Jalfrezi, and a medium chana masala. Basmati good as always. Service was not very good, but it was late at night and only one guy doing everything. Support this place and it will become a great discovery for people to come.

Good for a fast, quick stop, eat and go. I likely will stop by if I’m in a hurry and really wants Indian/Pakistan food. Otherwise, I prefer just to Jackson Heights for a real curry treat.

It’s a hole in the wall place. Gulab jamun is Awsome here. Salad is amazing but, curries and biryani are not that awsome. They are definitely worth the price.

Eat here at least once a fortnight — food is always excellent, staff are really nice, servings are generous and the price is cheap. Great lunch special, enough food for two people!

Eating alone on a work trip, the Chicken Biryani was a huge portion with large generous chunks of chicken and spiced just right(though next time I’ll go spicier) served with a salad. The Mango Lassi was delicious, not too sweet, & lasted me an hour after dinner. The atmosphere is warm and friendly – everyone working there smiles at me and said, «Hello, and welcome.» They truly appreciate every customer. If I didn’t have dinner plans, I’d eat there again tonight and choose something else from their extensive and varied menu.

This is my go to place for Indian food when I’m in Hells Kitchen! Man this food is good. The service is polite and helpful recommending the best dishes they have or they might think you’ll like. My favorite thing to order when I’m here is the Chicken Masala with the Spinach. The food is cheap and tasty. Everything is already pre-cooked so no need to wait when you are in a rush.

I picked up from here since most reviews say their delivery is slow. The food was just okay. I ordered a mango lassi, which was too warm, but was tasty after adding ice. The rice was pretty standard, but there was a hair in it. The chicken tikka masala had a really nice flavor for the sauce, but the chicken was ridiculously dry, and the sauce was extremely thin; not at all want you want you want out of chicken tikka masala. The naan didn’t taste at all like naan usually does, it just was not good. While everything was pretty meh, the samosas honestly were really great. I ordered from here because my boyfriend was going to be walking past it, and could get it for me, but I would try a different place in the future. Id only come back if I was strictly craving samosas

This place is 3.5 star place but since the staff is nice and mobile doesn’t allow half stars I’ll push it to 4. The hardcore Indian food enthusiast will feel shorted but for someone who is looking to enjoy decent Indian food at a great price it’s a good place to stop by. The tikki misala is good and the portions are generous.

Disclaimer– this review is purely based on a couple of their Seamless deliveries. We all, sometimes, crave a buttery dish of chicken Tikki Masala, and when I do, I usually order it in or take it to go, so I can enjoy it in the privacy of my own home, so I can dig in with both hands. And these couple of times, it was no different. My go-to order, for any Indian restaurant, is chicken Tikki Masala, garlic naan, an extra order of basmatic rice, and if I feel extra-adventurous, I also order samosas. The first time I ordered this exact order, including the samosas, it came in about 15 – 20 minutes to our surprise. The pink Tikki Masala sauce was creamy and still warm. The garlic naan was thin and not dough-ey. It was airy yet carb-ey enough to dip into the Tikki Masala sauce. And the samosas were huge! They were jam-packed with beef, potatoes, and carrot pieces. They were as big as a fist. The second time I ordered this exact order, it may have been because we ordered on a weekend closer to the restaurant’s closing time, but the order took approximately 75 – 80 minutes to arrive. And the food was lukewarm, I would say. It was cool enough that when I opened the lid to the Tikki Masala, we could see oil floating separately from the pink sauce. And the garlic naan looked very much like a pizza crust– it was so doughey and thick! Both times, though, the chicken was dry. Is that how it’s prepared or is it just how this particular establishment prepares their chicken? I don’t think I’ll be ordering from Curry Hut again, since it’s such a hit or miss. Better safe than sorry.
