Came here last night to celebrate my Bday, so happy with the experience! The service was excellent, the food was delicious and very flavorful, very different from any Italian restaurant. All food is homemade, including bread and desserts! Mmmmmm we tried at least 6 different desserts and each one was better than the other!!! Home made cream brûlée, tiramisu, Nutella!!! Omg can’t wait to go back!!! Also got to meet the owner Andre, who is awesome and just super sweet. Highly recommend this place

This place rocked my socks! Beautiful interior, great staff and food was awesome… just what I needed after a new too many Spritz the night before. Plus so reasonably priced. This place is now officially one of my top 3 brunch spots in NYC.

Amazing! The food was fantastic and the people were great. Our waitress Evonna was awesome and everyone was very friendly. I got the Fettuccine Al burro Affumicato and would highly recommend it! Loved the tiny tea cups for the dessert wine and the atmosphere! Décor is fiesty and cute. Perfect for Valentine’s Day. Will definitely be back.

Make this place one of your regulars now! Right up to the standard of it’s sister restaurant Oficina Latina, this italian number has delicious food, great décor and charming staff. They all feel like one big family, even if one of the waiters felt like the youngest family member on his first night! Have the meat and cheese plates to start — seriously good stuff.

This place is totally unassuming, the food was perfectly flavored. I had the smoked trout dinner and it was apparent that everything was fresh. Boyfriend had the chickpea gnocchi and the texture was phenomenal. I recommend the bread and oil to start — I didn’t expect much but the olive oil is top notch and the bread soft and sweet. The décor is super cute and they have croissants for $ 1 that can’t be beat. Service was good, could have been more friendly. Definitely will be coming back though!

Recently visited here for dinner. Service and atmosphere were great. Menu had marked vegetarian options which was nice. The drinks were alright, but I was unimpressed by the food. The appetizers and entrées incorporated a disappointing medley of vegetables that reminded me of Chinese food(no offense — just not expected from an Italian farm to table resturant). I was anticipating an extraordinary experience based on the previous reviews, but left unsatisfied with the food. Food specifics — vegetable medley disappointment. smoked chicken — not tender and tasted like an ashtray, crème brûlée — good flavor, cold center, top layer half-crystallized) This place definitely has a lot of potential(service and atmosphere), but right now needs some improvement.

I can say this a nice place. It is the service that makes me angry. I dont understand why in restaurants have servers who are not aware about the hospitality service. I asked for a tea, i did not know the flavors and the server was super rude answering him about the the teas because he was not a tea person. When you work in a restaurant, as a server, it is your duty to know what are you selling. The server was never aware of the table. Please don’t put a grumpy face if your service its not even close to fair, and the tip is close to nothing. You are risking the money of your coworkers.

Either this is where cheese hopes to go when it dies, or this is just… where I want to go every day until this restaurant adopts me. Do you think that eggs over broccoli with cheese and hazelnuts and truffle sounds wrong? Well, guess what, you’re an idiot, because it’s the best thing I may have ever tasted, and I was skeptical myself. IT’S AWESOMETOBEWRONGWHENYOUWINDUPEATINGSOMETHINGLIKETHIS(insert joke about eating your words or whatever here). Maybe I’m over-enthusiastic since being allergic(yes. allergic. real talk) to everything in the onion/garlic family has severely limited restaurant options for me, but I feel confident in the awesomeness of the food, since my dining companion isn’t allergic to everything that tastes good, and she was all sorts of happy about the onion-covered trout she had. The service is adorable or at least was on the day I went and I feel that is worth mentioning. Yes, you are welcome.

Kinda mislead by the glowing reviews for this place(26 reviews and still at a full 5 stars!). Had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately it really didn’t deliver. As others have mentioned before, an obvious downside right when you sit down is their pretty limited menu. I was shocked to see an Italian place only offer 2 pastas — and these pastas didn’t even have much in them. We started off with some polenta $ 5 — not bad, a pretty solid and hot polenta with yummy cheese shavings on top. I thought, okay, pretty good start. Then we proceeded to order two entrees to share: Fettuccine al burro affumicato(homemade egg pasta, smoked butter, and grana parmesan) $ 15 When they placed it down on the table, my initial thought was, «man…why is it so small?!» and also, «how is this $ 15 when there’s nothing but cheese in this dish?!» I really think that it needs something more to justify the price. The cheese was pungent and a little overly salty, and since there was nothing else in the dish, it became very monotone and heavy. Anatra(duck and mashed potatoes) $ 18 There were 6 small pieces of duck on there that were slightly overcooked(the pieces closer to the inside were good though). Veggies that it came with were good though! Pretty standard duck dish, nothing special. They offered us some complimentary homemade bread, which was actually really good! I think they make it point to let people know they bake in-house, so this was a good representation of that. They serve it on a cute cutting board and you slice it yourself. Outside was nice and crunchy while the inside was soft. I really liked the décor and ambiance though; seems like a place I’d love to be at for brunch, or a baby/bridal shower! Service was also pretty great(although, full disclosure, we came on a Sunday around 9pm, and there were literally only one other table filled). I just hope they would somehow spruce up their menu offerings, and maybe take a look at their pricing based on what the dish is(we spent a little over $ 73 for the above items + two $ 10 drinks). For now, I probably won’t be back! :(Maybe…just maybe for their desserts/pastries?

Menu selection is pretty basic but definitely nice if you’re into authentic café and dessert. It’s definitely hipster, which makes me uncomfortable. I rated this 3 stars for the hipster feel and also that they seem to be out of a lot of important drinks. If you’re into the organic items on a menu, then this is your place. While the dishes vary, very few choices and could use a boost. The place is overall warm and cozy, but hard to find as only the door has the sign of «O1M» which is abbreviated for Oficina 1000miglia”. All three of my friends decided on fettuccine. It’s made from egg pasta. the cheese in this dish is strong for those that enjoy Parmesan, other than that there’s nothing wow about it. Dessert is good. Crème brûlée Cheers

We accidentally stumbled in after not having much luck at Balthazar on Christmas Day for dinner. The décor is eclectic and the vibe was enticing. The restaurant was filled, but the host made room for us by sharing a long table with other diners. We didn’t mind since everyone seemed so happy. We ordered their cheese and charcuterie board to start. It was one of best boards we had. It was simple with not too many items to drown the flavors. The choice of olive oil, mustard and jam were paired well. The cheeses and meats are from local farms or imported from Italy. They cured their own meats, yum! Then we had the scallop and chicken dishes. Both were delicious. We will definitely be back.

Incredibly comfortable and charming – delightful & whimsical – environment with really wonderful service, fresh simple food, and affordable prices… I would love to come back a few more times just for the Pumpkin Lasagna, which was a real stunner, so smoky and zesty and peppery and funky and delectable, and it went beautifully with a Beet & Ginger & Prosecco cocktail that really lit up the sky… Although not everything was equally superb, it was all delicious and very reasonably priced — $ 7 for a plate of brussels sprouts that were good but not great, $ 18 for a duck breast that was a little chewy but really fantastically flavorful — but for the quality of ingredients being served here, many other places would charge twice as much and you’d be lucky if they tasted half as good as they do here — although, I’ve seen pictures and heard about the duck dish being a knockout, so I look forward to coming back and giving it another try, and hopefully also getting the Seafood Burger and Trout dish that sadly weren’t available tonight, but, again, I emphasize, that Pumpkin Ravioli is truly worthy of note, and the space is so lovely in all the right ways and none of the wrong ways, that I won’t be able to stay away for long.

damn, this place was hella good. it’s great contemporary italian food and the prices aren’t bad at all. between three people we split the fettuccine, gnocchi, and smoked chicken with potatoes. all of them were absolutely delicious, but the chicken was just stellar. not usually a chicken fan at all, but i think it might have been the best i’ve ever had. the wine list is also great and the décor /ambience is real nice. would definitely recommend for anyone looking to impress on a date :)

Incredible food from a most unassuming source in the heart of Nolita. I blame my upbringing dining at kitschy restaurants that lacked substance, but had lots of flair, that I didn’t expect much from Oficina 1000Miglia. I mean, there’s a a motorcycle in the dining room. A pipe wrench as a door handle. A literal mish mash of gleaned junk affixed to the walls. What are they trying to hide? Is the food so bad, the service so inscrutable, and the overall experience so uninspired that they have to distract you from the real reason you stepped inside? To use an aging idiom, it’s bad form to judge a book by its cover. Oficina 1000Miglia features a first time restaurant owner(Andre) and the two founders of Oficina Latina(Max and Paolo) on Prince Street. The latter are Italian expats and the décor is the brain child of the flamboyant ex-designer, Max. It’s a hat tip to an infamous race that covers 1,000 miles in Europe( ). The constituents of said race are primarily bon vivants with an affinity for vintage automobiles and luxurious cuisine. It now makes sense why I’m eating a perfectly sous vide egg with broccoli rabe while staring at a wall of motorcycle helmets and car parts. You’ll find a smattering of different personalities enjoying everything from savory smoked Acme whitefish salad with a dollop of thick balsamic reduction to homemade bread and Nutella. Families, fashion forward socialites, and tourists alike enjoying locally sourced, stone ground wheat pancakes topped with pistachio nuts and real maple syrup. Or another smoked fish compound pressed into a patty and sandwiched between a soft squid ink bun. They also perfected an al dente fettuccine, made in house, smothered in a two-week smoked butter sauce. Now that butter has cleaned up its image and is being touted as a healthful food, I’d love a quart of this smoked full fat dairy product in my refrigerator for personal anytime consumption. It was incredibly decadent and delicious. After sampling and enjoying everything that came out of the tiny kitchen at Oficina 1000, I’m convinced you can close your eyes and point at something and you’ll be impressed. If you’re there during brunch hours, be sure to couple your meal with any number of their inventive brunch cocktails(I never thought Champagne and beet juice would be so lovely). It makes for a holistic overall experience that you didn’t see coming. Bravo to the team for creating something special as Nolita turns a corner and becomes its own Manhattan culinary destination.

Came here for both lunch and a few days later dinner. Wow… wow…wow. This place is money. I mean excellent execution of dishes and very friendly and accommodating staff. Seriously I felt«clean» after eating here that’s how fresh the ingredients are and I look forward to having more meals at this place.

Great spot for groups and brunch. «A rustic looking Nook of an Italian spot» describes this place perfectly. Food is great, and excellent ambience and excellent accommodations. Music a lit bit loud, but not to the extreme. I strongly recommend this place for brunch.

This place is amazing. You walk in and are immediately punched in the face with Italian authenticity. Vintage décor cover the walls, its almost enchanting. I ordered the uova strappazate and a cappuccino. The plate consists of an egg, hazelnuts, homemade truffle butter and a splash of cheese. Not too heavy. The chef Luca is straight from Italy! For dessert I had the raspberry tart– fresh to death. I will definitely be back.

Found this place after a review in . Décor is modern with a few rustic elements left from prior stores. I went in for breakfast — which is a little pricey for eggs and such but OK if you have espresso and a pastry. Next time I have to try the nutella. Staff are nice enough. Nice change from Starbucks.
