It looks like this place is straight out of an episode of Mad Men. Nice, quiet bar; quality cocktails; friendly service; pricey but worth the indulgence.

I came here for here a recent Engagement party. It’s a good location for a party with a main room by the door, what feels like a long hallway with a long bar and then a second room with more seating space in the back.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, comfortable couches, but I did find it to be a bit cramped by the bar in the narrow hallway area and the lighting was a bit harsh in that area as well. I liked that there was a big coat rack available in the front.
Some of the food was good, the little cheese sandwiches, the desserts but some of the food such as the mini pizzas were very dried out.

The staff is hit or miss but when you get a nice bartender they are great. the snack mix is great and it comes in a sealed bag. cocktails are tasty. Perfect amount of coming and goings. nice place to meet a quiet date in the back or sit at the bar with a friend. pricy but it is a nice hotel bar.

Newly renovated. It’s been opened for 3 months now. We were randomly walking by and just saw this quaint door and decided to walk in. 1920’d type of vibe. Very classy and nicely decorate. The drinks are a bit pricey but that understandable for these type of places. Our bar tender was super nice and made some very good creative drinks. Calm and class atmosphere; hidden little gem within the loud bustling concrete jungle that is NYC.

Quiet. We are 1 of 3 couples (it is a Wednesday night). $ 19 for a cocktail is a bit much.
