General Tso’s chicken is generally quite delicious. Take note: there are echelons of Tso:
1. Good Tso.
2. Bad Tso.
3. Tso so bad that it made me laugh.
4. Tso so bad, I got pissed.
To get Box 1 Tso… the good stuff… the chicken-ish meat must be absolutely crispy and the sauce tangy. The Tso from Green Tree is just that: box 1. Deliciously crispy, plentiful, and carefully prepared with a side of Tso Trees (broccoli).
This is great Chinese food!

My coworkers and I get lunch takeout from here about once a week, so we know this place well! They serve pretty typical Americanized Chinese and it’s good. The lunch combos are a great deal and they come with a drink… can’t beat that.

Went here often when first opened and food was great. Not so with my last experience. Food was mediocre at best and really lacked flavor. Prices are good and they prep your food quickly but quality has dropped and I probably won’t be back.

Newberry, FL

Consistently good NY style Chinese take out. It’s on my way home, so I stop here regularly. I wouldn’t go out of your way to eat here (try Yummy House in Gainesville) but I have never had a bad meal from Green Tree.
