If you are near Ithaca, NY, and don’t want to just go to the Purity Ice Cream place … try this place just outside Robert Treman park. You would actually buy ice cream from Dennis, the nice guy who makes it. No frills, a parlor in his drive way, literally. But the ice cream is every bit as boutique/gourmet as it gets. We tried 6 flavors … and Roasted Almond with Coconut and Mango and Chocolate covered Pretzel in Caramel Peanut Butter were all terrific! … So expect some traditional and exotic flavors. It’s nice to buy ice cream from the person who makes it!
