Round Table Pizza

Ordered a large pizza, they charged me $ 3.65 for delivery! I live very close to them.

Waited an hour and a half for a cold, soggy pizza. Never again.

Tired of calling this place after 9 without an answer. Hope the boys are having fun drinking beer in the kitchen.

Love the Pizza. hated the service. Terrible follow up, more than an hour late and horrible customer service. Try smiling next time or being a bit personable on the phone… it won’t cost you a thing! Our company won’t be ordering from this branch again. MEH.

I know, chain pizza… but this Round Table is seriously the BEST pizza in Irvine. Everything is super fresh, toppings and cheese are plentiful. Plus they are fast and super nice and ALWAYS get the order right.

This places was very disappointing.
The guy in register was too busy texting on his phone, I had to say something to him so he can take my order.
I asked for a small pizza and the bill was $ 21
That’s a lot for one small 6 slice pizza. And the ranch was $ 1 for a small portion.

I ordered online for home delivery.
Half n half gourmet vege and guinevveres garden pizza.
It was really good. The pan crust was soft and crispy and toppings were very flavorful.
Liked gourmet vege more but loved both overall.
Delivery was quick too.

With so many pizza joints and chains to choose from you’d think customer service and quality would be priorities. NOT HERE!
1. When we called in our order the Round Table employee, Juan, was so rude. He got annoyed when I asked what the specials were. I was ordering for five people and Round Table Pizza isn’t exactly cheap!
He spoke so fast I had to ask him to slow down and repeat himself. And before I could confirm my order and let him know that we have a gated entry at our house, he hung up the phone. I had to call again to let him know. Again rude!
2. We confirmed our order, though it wasn’t a difficult one. Nothing special… regular crust premium pizzas. Always a good idea to repeat the order because the guy didn’t seem like he was listening or cared about the customers or having a job.
3. Pizza arrived in timely manner. Delivery person was pleasant. We tipped him and off he went. Lesson learned? ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PIZZA BEFORE YOU PAY! Another reason not to pre-​pay with a debit or credit card.
4. Our pizza order was completely wrong! I called right away and Juan answered. I explained the error. At MINUMUM I expected an apology. Nope! He wanted to argue that was exactly what we ordered. I asked to who was in charge and he said «the owner» but he’s not here and «he’s to busy. He doesn’t call people back.» Wow! He finally Said we could have a free pizza NEXT time we call in But when I asked if we would get an email or confirmation of this lousy compensation he snapped back with «No! Just give your phone number when you call in.» I can’t imagine how unpleasant it must be to eat at this pizza joint.
I’d give a negative star review if there was a option.

They have a weird policy.
They will NOT take a take-​out order for future date, but they will take a delivery order. WTF?
I needed to order some pizzas for a party, and I just wanted to put in the order so I have one less thing to worry about. I walked-​in, so that I can pay for it too. They tell me that I can only order for TODAY. I need to call on the day-​of, if it’s take-​out. But they will let me for a delivery. WHY? I asked, they just mumbled some stuff. They told me to try online. The problem is that I already tried, and it said that this location does not take online orders.
They guy seemed sooooo not interested in helping (he just kept telling me to call tomorrow).
So I’m just going to order from Gina’s Pizza.
I’m sure they don’t need my business, but I was going to order 10 XL pizzas.
Whatever.
Round Table Pizza has the WORST website.

Round Table is pricey but worth it… usually. That’s why I always go for pizza buffet! But guess what, THIS ONE DOESNT HAVE ONE! C’mon man!
And then when I asked if they did have one, I got a snarky «No, we don’t do that here». Well guess, what I’m not eating here then and fuck your attitude, dick! Overpriced, and rude? That’s like being fat and mean. No one wants to be friends with a mean fat person. And after reading some of these reviews, poor customer service seems to be a trend here. Small store + no buffet + rude employee = 1 star. Fix it por favor!

Pizza was very tasty. What ruined it for me was the service. When I walked in there were 4 employees standing at the counter. I greeted them with a hi when I entered because well that’s the kind of girl I am and after an awkward 3 second silence, one of them replied back with a hey. Okay. I stood back a bit to study the menu and when I was ready I approached the counter only to be ignored by the guy working the register (the others went back to the kitchen) as he chit chats and laughs with his buddies in the kitchen… asking them if they want some M&Ms from this bag he was waving around. Finally he acknowledges I’m standing there and asks if I wanted to order. Well yes I do, thanks…
I should have walked out but I didn’t want to be rude. The staff here apparently don’t have any qualms about that.

It’s a tradition on Wednesdays at work that we have a delivery of the Gourmet Veggie Pizza and Sausage Pizza. SOOOOOO YUMMY! AHHHHHHHH!!! Need I say more?!
Delivery can take up to an hour, so plan ahead and order in advance!

We usually get delivery from this location and they have a great speedy system and the food is good too.

It was okay. The place is very small. More for take-​out than eating in. There’s no complaints about the quality of the pizza ~ I had the supreme. I just gave it a three because I’m not going to make any effort to go out of my way to get pizza here.

The pizza is pretty good. I also had wings, and those were okay. I have had better wings.
The guy who helped was nice, and helpful, just quiet.
The seating in there is pretty bad, and it’s definitely NOT good for groups to go there and eat-​in. There are like 4 tables for two inside the place, and maybe an additional two tables for two outside.
Also, it’s pretty pricey pizza. And if you have a big appetite, be forewarned, you might be satisfied with the personal pan. I thought this, so it’s why I added wings to my order. I ended up giving the rest to my friend though, because I wasn’t a fan of them.
I don’t know if I’d come back here, although the pizza was pretty good. If I had a coupon, then yes.

Such a disappointment! We LOVE Round Table Pizza but this one sucks! They are constantly late and the pizza is mediocre. I always request that they undercook the breadstick because they are always hard and crispy, but they rarely do so they come to me burnt! I recommend choosing a different pizzeria.
If you want to feel let down order from Round Table Newport Beach on Jamboree. :-(
BTW: all of the 4 and 5 star reviews are obviously from people who work there.

if you’re ballin; and price is of no concern… get the large bbq chicken and the smokehouse combo.
the bbq chicken is so effing good. with the first bite, it made me believe in unicorns. i also heard this pizza has the ability to cure cancer.
its full of flavor, and the sweet bbq sauce was used instead of the tomato sauce. good choice round table!
the smokehouse combo was salty, but it was still pretty tasty.
we got 2 pizzas, and a medium salad. the total came out to about 53 with delivery charge. fuck man, 53 bucks for all that?!? for 53 bucks, i expect to be fanned by those huge leaves and fed grapes from the vine. seriously not worth it.

Overpriced, slow, and not even exceptional pizza! Disappointed and I was better off going to Burger King or Wienerschnitzel.

Best Pizza Ever.
I almost always order delivery and split the pizza between two of their «specialties» (I always want to try *everything*!). I see that some reviewers note that it’s a bit expensive, which can be true, but honestly if you’re alone and want to spend the evening eating pizza and watching Lord of the Rings (you’re having one of those days), it’s not going to cost that much more than, say, Dominos, for a small pizza. There WILL be a lot more toppings, and you will be able to eat the rest of the pizza the next day for lunch. At least, if you are a girl :-).
Anyway, the pizza is just really, really good. I don’t know what I would do without the existence of Round Table (and I have always had good experiences with the Newport Beach one in particular).

I frequent this place at least once a week, so I thought its time to post an update about my recent experiences.
IMHO, this place is in desperate need of new/​rectify management.
Customer service has become terrible here lately, very RUDE staff, unprofessional service, and stingy. yeah, isn’t that ridiculous that you pay over $ 20 bucks for a mediocre pizza plus tips and they ask you to pay for a tiny ranch sauce?
Once, I ordered by phone and picked up my pizza, when I opened the box, I noticed they messed up my order. I didn’t have time to go there and get another one and, well, i don’t eat pepperoni. So, no lunch on that day. Sigh!
