Newtown, CT
The Iron Bridge closed last year. The new place is called Cover Two, and it’s great. Awesome beer and purveyors of Newtown’s best burger, The Nighthawk, and salad, Kale with either grilled chicken or blackened salmon.

Very good selection of microbrews with good bar food. Outstanding Buffalo calamari. Great little neighborhood bar and grill I’ll be back!

Evidently this place changed it’s tune since Kyle’s review, but it was well lit with a mid-​to-​upscale local crowd. Definitely NOT shady. While it is bar food, the quality was very good. The noise level is a bit high, but not over the top. It’s a cozy spot that I will definitely return to when I am in town.

Awful. Shady, creepy clientele there that’s expected at typical crappy places. Exterior of restaurant looks like it’s gonna be a great place… until you step into a dungeon-​like dark room with crappy tables and an even crappier looking bar. The bartenders could care less. Go across the street to The Foundry and eat/​drink at a real restaurant. The only positive to Iron Bridge?; the exit door wasn’t locked.

Great food! Always get what you pay for and then some! Generous portions — my husband and I recently shared the Philly Cheesesteak — it was amazing! Flavor was spot on — came with tasty, crisp fries and a salad. Another favorite is the Whiskey Chicken! By far the BEST grilled chicken sandwich in town!
Fully stocked bar — plenty of beer selections, domestics, crafts and taps reasonably priced. Bar patrons — regulars — can be very colorful and entertaining!
Karaōke DJ on Friday nights — maybe find live entertainment on Saturday’s.
Overall highly recommended!

Waterbury, CT
Food is awesome and you can’t beat the price for the amount of food you get. I would also recommend the 2 for $ 26 Wine and Dine Special.
