I went on a Monday for lunch with a friend and her granddaughter(6) as well as my two granddaughters(7&10). The restaurant was relatively busy for a weekday. Our server was prompt and friendly and the rolls that were brought to the table were warm and tasty. Our order was delivered quickly. The chicken Marsala that I ordered was one of the best I have ever eaten and had a generous portion of mushrooms. My friend ordered chicken Francaise and was very pleased. The girls ordered chicken tenders which came with a side and they chose French fries. It was a generous portion of fries and they loved them. One child ordered penne pasta Alfredo and my friend said that it was excellent. This will be our go to place from now on when we go to lunch.

Good Italian food for the price. They have large portion sizes and good service, so it’s worth checking out.

Was a bit hesitant after reading previous reviews. Arrived on a Friday about 2PM. Restaurant was empty. Our server Annie was very pleasant and offered advice to my wife. She ordered clam chowder and pizza. I opted for a salad, veal Marsala and penne pasta with melted butter. Everything was amazing. Took home a chicken parm for our son. He never likes anything, but ate every last drop. In short, am surprised by previous bad reviews. Looking forward to return visit. Only negative was quality of flatware, sort of like aluminum foil consistency, but functional.

It was average at best! Been meaning to come here for a while, but always seem to forget about it. Ended up here tonight because other restaurants of choice were super busy & I didn’t feel like waiting. The one positive was we got our food super fast from the appetizer to desert. Staff was super friendly and on the ball. Food was average, I had the ribeye(not much taste) kids had spaghetti & meatballs(pretty good) probably won’t be back, unfortunately by the crowd on a Friday night I would imagine it won’t be long until this place is a memory.

OK, but not a place I’m likely to visit again. I don’t usually find myself channeling Gordon Ramsey, but I couldn’t help myself from analyzing the food and restaurant. We went here on a lark, knowing nothing about the place. With many high quality Italian restaurants in the area, we were exploring parts unknown. The first sign of potential disappointment was the dominating floral scent we found in the dining area — not appetizing aromas such as roasted garlic, which would have piqued my interest. I saw no surprises on the menu, so I chose the lobster ravioli from the nightly specials board with a Caesar’s salad on the side. The salad dressing had that glossy, globular appearance of fat-free dressing and was lacking in garlic and anchovie flavors. The ravioli arrived smothered in a thick white cheese sauce. While I could taste the lobster, the sauce was mild. My wife’s pasta was drowning in watery liquid and mostly flavorless, and she quickly lost interest in it and sent most of it back. We tried to salvage the meal with a tiramisu, which was OK, but decorated with Hershey’s syrup, lacking the espresso and bittersweet cocoa that you find in better creations. Service was very friendly and they were kind to not charge us for my wife’s entrée or the desert.

Terrible food! Ordered the chicken franchise and it was pretty much a salt block. Salad dressing was cold tomato soup. And the pasta sauce was warmed up tomato paste. For 15 $!!! And then there was the zucchini lasagna. Fried zucchini planks covered in that same sauce. Which equated to a goop!!! So we left after about 2 bites!!!

I prefer to spend at locally owned restaurants/businesses, so naturally I wanted to try Giorgio’s when they opened. The overall atmosphere is confusing. It is obvious that little or no renovations have been done since the place was a western/longhorn/roadhouse joint. There was minor Italian décor and it was cheaply done. Very misleading. We were greeted by two very confused hostesses and seated at a booth along the far west wall. The menu is overwhelming with many choices that are not even considered Italian. Appetizer: Calamari. I took two bites and started to feel ill. First off, it did not even look appetizing and the texture was very chewy and gross. Marinara sauce: had to have been straight from a jar or can and looked like simply crushed tomatoes. I have honestly had better from the Greek festival. Entrée: New York Strip w/mashed potatoes & a side salad. I ordered the steak medium and it came back very well done so of course I sent it back. Displeased, I started to eat my salad which was mediocre but at least digestible and I wasn’t feeling sick. Strip comes back and it is now under-cooked, almost rare. I took maybe three bites of it with the«mashed potatoes»(which clearly came from a box) and I’d had enough. The server insincerely apologized for the mishaps but I was growing impatient and just wanted the check. I did not even waste my time ordering a dessert. Overall, I was very disappointed with Giorgio’s. It fell extremely short of my expectations and I can guarantee this«ristorante» will not be in business within the next couple of years. If you intend to serve cheap food in a clashing atmosphere, by all means go ahead, but there is a reason most will choose the real local classics(Leo’s, Café 422, Salvatores, etc.) or even Olive Garden over places that think they can make a quick buck by serving very sub-par everything. I understand it’s not easy to open/run a new restaurant, but my only advice is: do it well, or don’t do it at all.

This is a really good Italian restaurant. Our party ordered sandwiches, steak, pasta, lasagna, and Italian Wedding Soup. Everything was very good. The portions were good, and the services was very attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Was looking for a different place to eat, my wife suggested Giorgio’s as it’s relatively new. Interestingly, I’ve seen little, check that, make that no advertisement or promotion for this new eatery, but we figured we’d give it a go. The competition in this segment is fierce, esp in this area– you have Vernon’s, Leo’s, Café 422, Texas Roadhouse and a number of other places to choose from. Knowing that, you gotta knock it out of the park to be a player for repeat business, IMO. But, on to my experience… I’m not too demanding and I don’t go into a restaurant with the demeanor of a NY Times food critic, but I do expect the requisites– clean establishment, good food, good service. Probably the three boxes we are all looking to have checked. Giorgio’s manages to hit on two, at least in our visit. Server was pleasant, efficient, and attentive to our table. The ambiance, as noted in other reviews, is very residual of the old steakhouse it replaced, but that’s OK… I would probably strive toward a motif that is more topical, Mediterranean, Italian in décor, but again, not a deal breaker. Where the train comes off the tracks is with the food. As much as I’d like to be somewhat forgiving, it’s hard to be anything but thoroughly disappointed. I had veal parm. As noted by another reviewer, indeed, the sauce is reminiscent of canned tomato sauce from a grocery store– no lie. Easily the least appetizing sauce of any local restaurant I’ve been to. The veal also seemed to be a patty, not a cutlet. Ouch, this was an eyebrow raiser. My wife ordered broiled whitefish, it arrived in a half inch of butter and liquid– so so, but she abandoned the effort when she hit the third large bone. Sigh. What is the barometer of whether you consider a restaurant worthwhile? The simplest definition is «would I go back»? The answer here is no. Too many other choices with better food.

I would give this new place a 4 star review. For starters the bread is amazing we ordered peppers and oil as an appetizer. It was very good. We had about a 15 min wait to be seated on a Saturday night but the place was pretty crowded. In my opinion not that bad. The chicken Parm dinner was delicious homemade sauce was pretty tasty portion was decent. The grilled chicken wrap doesn’t look like much but you had a choice of a side which was the stuffed pepper soup. I enjoyed the stuff pepper soup a lot. I would go back for stuffed pepper soup because it was that good. The broccoli chicken Alfredo was delicious. Bartender was extremely attentive and pleasant during our wait we sat at the bar come to find out draft beer 2.50 bottles 2.50 pretty good deal for a Saturday night out. Glad we decided to give this new place a try we will return…

In town from chicago for work. I was looking to return to the barbecue place I visited a few years ago but it has since been converted to giorgios. I started with the italian wedding soup which was missing the noodle balls typically found in the soup. Salad was just an iceberg salad. Egg plant Parmesan and penne pasta was good and fair portioned. Food came out quick and the prices were fair. Restaurant lacked any sort of italian atmosphere. Service was attentive.

So, where to start. I’ve read the previous reviews, and agree with all of them except the bread issue in the first one. They do have rolls now, but they are nothing special. Maybe if they had a melted(real) butter on them before going to the table it would add that missing touch. Their salad was okay, nothing special, and their house Italian dressing, Well, I am still trying to figure out WHATPROVINCE of Italy it is supposed to be reflective of. It was reddish, and sour, not much in the way of spices. The blue cheese was good, but it’s hard to mess that up. I was surprised they messed up the Italian. Now to the entrees, I got the Mediterranean Shrimp. To start with, I tasted one piece, and it was iffy. So I tried another, and now I am sitting at home waiting to see if I am going to get food poisoning as it was not completely cooked. The sauce was a broth with olive oil, and not a very good grade at that, tomatoes, not sun dried which would have added a nice intense flavor, and small threads of basil which were difficult to find, over Fettuccine noodles. Very disappointing! My son had Veal Parmesan. He said the veal was good, nothing special, but the penne pasta was like it came right from the box from Giant Eagle, nothing special, and the red sauce could be topped easily by Hunts spaghetti sauce right out of the can. To me, it tasted like plain tomato sauce. Marie’s mother said she was sure she would have heart burn from eating it as it was SOSOUR. There was no zip, no spice at all. One of the girls had Fettuccine Alfredo and she said it was good, but to me, the sauce looked like nothing special, sort of like a jarred Alfredo sauce. Now to touch on the atmosphere. Yes it was quiet, quiet to the point of being a morgue. Appropriate because that is where the food needed to be, buried in a hole, 6 feet deep. It did not have an Italian atmosphere at all. It was, as previously stated, EXACTLY like the steak house that had occupied the location prior to Giorgio’s Ristorante. I’m on the verge of calling Gordon Ramsey, because this would definitely be a challenge for him. Don’t be disappointed, but if you feel the need to try the new Fake Italian Restaurant in town, by all means go to Giorgio’s. Better yet, just go to Olive Garden, where they at least season their food, and you can get all you can eat pasta for $ 9.95, instead of possible food poisoning for $ 14.00

Since this is a new place, I will try to cover everything. Décor looks just like the steak house that was here before, just with a little more room between the tables. Atmosphere was pleasant but lacked any sound except kitchen and staff. A little music would be nice. Food was good. Tasty and portioned just right. Food was not superb, but was as I expected it to be. Tiramisu was very good, better than expected. Service is good and the prices reasonable. I would recommend for a nice dinner out, but maybe a little short for any special dinner nights.

Bruschetta was good and chicken sandwich was good also. The bread seemed really fresh. I was disappointed that their table bread was not some kind of fresh Italian bread loaf or rolls. It was plain sliced white bread that I could have bought anywhere. Also, the Caesar dressing was not very good. It was not creamy, but rather vinegar like. And finally, when I walked in at 11:15pm for lunch, most of the employees were standing around talking. Not very professional, and it was so quiet aside from the employee chit chat that you could hear a pin drop. A little Italian music would have been nice and would have given the place better ambiance.
