what a great additions to this area. Every time I’m in town i make sure to stop by. Especially because they serve Boars Head meats. Which is my all time favorite, and is hard to find in Ohio. I have had the pleasure of enjoying one of their made to order sandwiches, The Anthony. The bread was easy to bite through, the meat was cut think and the peppers and the proper kick. I also had a pepperoni roll. Which was made properly with a great bread to meat ratio. But the frosting on this cake is their spinach pie! At only $ 1.50 a slice I’m going to have this as a side with everything I get. It is jaw dropping good. Once I saw them slice this bad boy and I knew it was going to be good. Boy was I ever right.

This place is awesome! The owners really did a nice job of remodeling the old Alberini’s building. They have a nice sized Italian deli, grocery store, and hot foods section. I’ve had The Rocco(meatball sub), and the fried fish dinner so far. Both were delicious! The meatball sub was big… meatballs, mozzarella, yummy tomato sauce on a fresh baked roll. The fried fish dinner is their special on Fridays. It comes with your choice of fried cod or fried haddock, and choice of mac & cheese or pierogies, and a side of coleslaw. The fish and mac/cheese were awesome. Fish was perfectly fried and not greasy at all. This all for $ 9.99. I was gonna get a slice of their spinach pizza too, but the fish dinner was huge, so I’ll have to try that some other time. I also want to try some of their pastries and cookies, but I’m trying to lose some of the Thanksgiving weight I gained, so that will have to wait too. House made pizzas, Italian Wedding soup, and fried Italian greens(which are delish) are made daily. They also carry Abruzzi’s hot peppers in oil… yum! I usually bring my food home, but they have a nice little dining area for you to eat there, if you prefer. All the staff I’ve talked to have been very friendly and helpful. Seriously considering eating here every day. :)

I stopped at this place because I had heard good things about it, and decided to give it a try. I cannot review the food as I did not order anything due to poor service, but it is a beautiful place inside. There is a nice area to eat and a good selection of Italian groceries. The Italian food in the deli cases looked great as well. The problem is the service or total lack thereof. I went up to the deli counter and took a ticket, there was one other customer ahead of me in line. Once employee finished up with that customer, he did not acknowledge me and proceeded to wait on a friend of his who came in after me. I said excuse me in an attempt to get his attention, but the worker purposely ignored me, so I left. While the place looks good, based on my experience I would advise someone to try Jimmy’s Italian Specialties on Belmont, where the service is always fast and friendly, and the food looks just as good.

This place is great! I am having the pork meatball and Italian greens and both are to die for. They have really good wine and a full selection of beer you buy and bring to the table. It is part restaurant and part grocery which was a surprise!!!

DeVecchio family has outdone themselves. Great selection of Italian goods plus boars head deli and the finest recipes of hot foods daily. Make it a regular stop you won’t be disappointed
