Awesome wings. Tons of different sauces. Sweet heat is the best! Get there before 8pm because it is pretty crowded with ND students.

Best wings in town… hands down. Best time to go is on wednesday. Free popcorn is a nice touch to. As far as a bar its great to, music is what keeps 8t from a 5 star. Three types of music in one bar is a bit much with three types of clubs trying to happen at once.

ok, this place shouldn’t be called a lounge, it should just be called Jays Bar. I asked about the construction, and was told it’s been like that for years. Looks a little dark inside but there are some nice upgrades. The bartender was very nice and the waitress was very nice. They needed another waitress though, cause service was lacking for lunchtime, not her fault. I ordered a Turkey club and fries. The Club was on a nice taosted bun and the turkey was hot, like cooked on a flat top. Overall, sandwich was great, and my friends enjoyed their sandwiches as well. I would have liked to try the wings, maybe next time.

Jay’s is a great place to enjoy some really good food and drink and run into some friends. The menu has some tasty items like the Philly Cheese-​steak, the chicken Philly, the awesome Italian beef, and the non menu item Buffalo chicken Philly. Their pizza is delicious, best as a thin crust. The lake perch is outstanding as is all of the other Friday night fish choices. I go there probably every other week and it’s been more lately. The menu items are very fresh and I heard that many menu items are brought in from Chicago. They probably have 12 – 15 beers on draught with some uncommon but good choices with drink specials all the time. I think the kitchen closes around 10 and then the crowd changes and the volume goes up. A fun place more so for me in the summer with the patio outside. Bags tournaments, DJ’s, specials galore. I love places with this many TV’s where I can see my favorite games. The place is fun, with good food, and a lively atmosphere.
