Amico’s New York Pizza

Not sure what New York Pizza is supposed to taste like, but this place is really really good. Probably the best pizza and stromboli I have ever had!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about the food again. And we found out they deliver!!!

This place gets super busy early and it’s small so it can seem a bit chaotic BUT the pizza was out of this world! Authentic, New York style. Service was good, wait was reasonable. Definitely recommend!!! My new go-​to.

It is good pizza. I do not go too often but the couple of times I have gone it was fine.

I would give Amico’s 5 stars and higher if the women & girls whom work there had good manners and understood the importance of treating a customer with respect and appreciation.
This is GREAT FOOD. Always GREAT. On the expensive side of the spectrum.
I was sprayed with Windex by an ignorant girl (employee), who asked me to move and than unconscious of my sitting in a chair, waiting for my food, sprayed me. Even worse was her attitude, that her cleaning was more important than my patronage. In front of me, she joked with other girls that I was offended.
The food is expensive. Better service is expected.

Friendly staff and cooks, pizzas are top notch and the ingredients are awesome.
I’ve only ordered pizza and Stromboli, so I can’t speak on the other menu items, but I’ve always been happy with the service and quality.
It’s a little pricy compared to a random «fast food» pizza joint, but it’s great pizza. Treat yourself to takeout or plan a date night if you haven’t been yet.

Amicos is a family Italian restaurant that totally gets it right. Located in a strip mall near central Nolensville, Amicos has great New York style pizza, interesting and traditional Italian dishes in a friendly atmosphere. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly and efficient. The Pizza Caprese, a cheese pizza with fresh tomatoes, garlic and basil is awesome, combining the freshness of the herbs and tomato with a savory crust and cheese. The Penne ala Vodka is also great as well as the chicken parmagano. We have also enjoyed their generous appetizer portion of fried calimari as well.
Amicos reminds me of Italian restaurants I ate at with my family in Los Angeles back in the 70’s: high energy, filled with wonderful aromas, abundant food, from giant pizzas to baskets of hot rolls. And, like the restaurants of my childhood, Amicos is not afraid of garlic. From the oil drizzled over the rolls to the fresh garlic on the pizza, the wonderful aroma and flavor of garlic enhances the experience. Awesome. Great for take-​out as well.

We have done both delivery and dine in and both times we have been very pleased with our experiences. We really enjoy their pizza, the garlic rolls are super yummy, and their pasta is very good! We will be back for sure!

Excellent place. We had the anti pasta salad and white pizza. Both were awesome. After having tasted some of the best NYC pizza this was pretty spot on. Had a cannoli for dessert and it wasn’t the best but probably as good as you’re gonna get in Nashville. I’ve tried several other cannolis in Nashville and this is definitely far beyond.
Superior service. The staff was very attentive and nice. My only complaint is it was a little loud and crowded inside but they can’t help that they’re popular on a Friday night.

Great chicken piccata, garlic rolls and pizza. Meals were a bit expensive. We enjoyed our meal here. Friendly service and plaza has some cute shops.

This is not great pizza! I can’t figure out why so many people like this. The atmosphere is good and the service is OK but the food is mediocre at best. It’s not NY pizza! I was born and bred there, and this is not NY pizza. I can’t recommend this food. There are better pies in the area. NYPie, joeys house of pizza, nicks Italian Deli, and pizza perfect on 21^st.

Super thin New York style pizza. Definitely one of my favorite pizza spots in Nashville. Headed to up a pie now!

This is a little hidden gem near the end of a multi-​use building on Nolensville Pike. Great pizza, especially the white pizza. Every time I’m watching Italian dishes come out to tables it makes me wish I’d not just ordered pizza or a calzone… every.single.time. The service is great. It’s not a huge place, so it’s usually full, but I’ve never had to wait long. They do deliver, but I don’t know the delivery area.

Wow Stromboli was crispy on the outside, cheesy and meaty on the inside (meatball). Garlic bread was good and so was the service. Great lunch

I ordered the stuffed shells for lunch, which came with garlic roll that was fabulous but not enough. It cost $ 7.99 for 2 stuffed shells and a small garlic roll. My stuffed shells were a little bland for my liking but true to authentic Italy. Pizza was New York style and ok… I’ve had much better. Staff was excellent. Great, quick service. I probably wouldn’t travel out of my way to come back but would go back if in Nolensville and craving Italian.

My husband and I love Amico’s! He’s from New York and he’s so happy he’s found a place that is similar to what he grew up with. It’s a bit more expensive that what you’d get at a «take out» pizza place but it’s worth every penny. I have a hard time getting pizza anywhere else.

As a NY native for 35 years. I can defiantly say that this pizza is as close to NY pizza in the south that you will find.
It blows away any other pizza in the area (most are frozen, fast food type. And are not very good)
It’s defiantly worth the drive from Franklin.

We had one eggplant and a plain cheese pizza.
Plus with coupon one was free.

Great find and worth our drive of 15 minutes out of the way. My bride is now addicted to meatballs, and meatballs not her thing normally. Sauce is simple and very good. Garlic rolls are good… and the bottom line is this place is good, as in solid. Not mind blowing, but a hidden gem in this community. Pizza is, again, good. Not Desano’s up in Nashville (but who is). Not New York either. But it’s good. Will be a normal spot. plus I haven’t tried chicken park yet, and that looks like a must…

I’m a hard guy to please with pizza. Amico’s should drop the «New York Pizza» and just focus on being the best real pizza in the Nolensville area. In my book, they’ve already accomplished that. I’ll give them «NY inspired» maybe, but let’s not push it. Both their pizza and hot subs are worthy of your taste buds. I haven’t strayed from those menu items.
Overall my only complaint really is everything is a bit too unnecessarily greasy.

Good pizza, definitely the best around Nolensville! The lunch specials are pretty great! I usually go in once a week for a slice of cheese pizza, a side Caesar salad and a drink for $ 6!
I’ve tried some of the pastas and sandwiches, some are really good, some are just okay. The chicken parmesan is good but the stuffed shells are mediocre.
My big complaint is that they don’t brew their own iced tea, they have the machine that has the premade stuff in it and that always tastes so artificial and gross to me.
