Virginia ABC Store

I’ve now been to this store at least a half dozen times. If your looking for a big floor plan this is not it, but you will find just about anything that a typical ABC carries.
This state store is possibly the newest location in the area, built less than two years ago in the NorthHampton Crossing strip. It sets on the Virginia Beach/​Norfolk line. Other tenants are Krispy Kreme and Jersey Mikes. The location and visibility are excellent to a lot of daily traffic.
Parking never seems like an issue, but there is not a lot of it. So if there is a run on doughnuts and spirits at the same time you could be in trouble. The lot has had some minor debris around, nothing horrible. Due to the fact it is right off of busy North Hampton does not help that situation. On my most recent visit the lots were clear and ice had been removed from a recent storm.
I had not been in the store for in probably three months and noticed upon walking in that a display at the front counter had a lot of Steelers stuff in it. The clerk said the manager is a huge Pittsburg fan. The place had a few customers checking out, but for the most part most I never see this location busy. I know that I usually choose two other locations that I know the staff and prefer.
They had what I needed in stock and grabbed a few bottles. I found the store to be very organized and clean on this visit and no issue. What you will not find are the large displays etc. that you find in the bigger floor plans. Checkout uneventful and the clerk was friendly.
I am sure that I will come back.
