Starbucks

Almost gave this store a bad review because they had some struggling new hires… But a young man named Ethan was holding down the fort today! Go Ethan!

Extremely unsatisfied with this location. I ordered a hot pike place coffee and it came out cold. It was literally cold and undrinkable. I went through the drive-​thru and didn’t try it until I stopped at the intersection leaving and it was too late to go back. The last time I came to this location I ordered an iced coffee and there was so much ice in it I couldn’t even fit the straw in the cup. Of course it only took me 5 sips to finish the drink and then it was all water.
It’s a shame because I live right down the road but the quality is such an inconvenience.

Writing this to highlight the integrity of one of their employees, because I value integrity above all else.
I had stopped by this location yesterday to take a break from driving so I was able to sit and enjoy my caramelized honey latte while enjoying their free wifi.
I guess while I was sitting there, a military challenge coin that I have been carrying around with me everyday since 2007 must have fell out of my pocket.
I called this morning to see if anyone had found it and turned it in. I was speaking to Natalie and after some probing questions, she confirmed having found my coin in the seat cushion and made arrangements for me to be able to pick it up.
So, here I am at this location to pick my coin up and grab another caramelized honey latte. In addition, I gave Natalie a coin to further thank her for her integrity.

One star for permafrost microwaved sandwich. The store is very clean and the staff friendly. Drink just fine — one star for breakfast sandwich. The English muffin was over «nuked». Microwaved so it was hard as a hockey puck in some spots and soft in others and the eggs tasted like plastic. If I had been in the store, and not gone thru the the drive-​thru, I would’ve demanded a refund or a new sandwich. I gave it to my dog in the back seat and he snubbed his nose at it.

I’m only giving 2 stars for the good employees that are there. So I went there one morning and ordered a pumpkin spice latte. There was another lady a couple of customers behind me who’ve ordered the same thing. The barista because she favoured the lady and was chatting with her gave her my drink. When I brought it to her attention she just makes my drink and said «here you go». Of course I reported her to the manager and was given a free drink. But I’ve noticed that when I came in there after that, certain employees have attitudes towards me as if I’m the villian or as if it’s even any of their dam business. One even trying size me up by asking me what kind of work I do.
This shows me how ignorant, unprofessional and childish they are. Certain employees need to realize that every customer that patronizes Starbucks pays their salaries. So they need to value every customer and not just the ones who THEY THINK ARE IMPORTANT. Needless to say, I’ve chosen to go to a couple of more suitable and more professional Starbucks. So although I don’t go as often, I am satisfied at the ones that I do go to. They even have the more positive reviews to prove my point.

The worst Starbucks period. Take way too long to do anything whether at drive-​thru or inside. They have no sense of urgency or concern. Drinks are mediocre as well. Management needs to do a complete overhaul.

I frequent Starbucks, but this is not at the top of my list for great locations. I am not a fan of their layout (wrapping the drive-​thru around the building). It seems to get congested and confusing for the others trying to park in the lot. It seems to have trash around it quite often. I have noticed that the baristas do not do as good of a job as other locations in the area. But, when you get desperate for that boost from Starbucks, you will settle sometimes.

This place is a hit and miss. I love coming to this place when there isn’t a lot of traffic in and out the place because my order is always correct.
The staff is friendly, but my 3 stars is for the poor wait time during rush hours. It really does irritate me when there are 6 cars at the drive through and i’m outside waiting for 15 minutes or more.
When my order is incorrect, the baristas do a quick job of fixing it… but I would like not to wait any longer. I will still be back, but that’s the only thing that irritates me when I do have to wait.

My order is always correct and the customer service is good but the establishment itself is humid (went more than a few times) and there are always flies in there. I gave this specific location more than a handful of chances but now I will only return if I only plan on using the drive-​thru.

Ugh! I ordered a Smores Frap and no graham crackers were crumbled on it! I waited for the Barista to come back to the window to ask him to put the main ingredient: cookies & he said «oh we don’t have any.» I said you should let the customer know… so I could choose something else instead. It doesn’t taste right without the graham crackers. So sad.

Great location, also has a drive-​through. Customer service was great but the store was a mess. Chairs in disarray, very messy throughout the lobby… strange. We actually wanted to sit and drink our coffee there but it was just so dirty and messy that it took away from the fun.

Always the best coffee here! I love the caramel macchiato quad! I always stop at the Starbucks when I’m traveling to see my son… It’s a long ride and that quad always gets me there!

This is the closest Starbucks to my home. Decided to come in for a change of scenery, curl up and read my Nook. While not rude, the employees were less than professional/​friendly. More disturbing, I was harassed by at least half a dozen flies while trying to relax. Disappointing.

Probably my favorite Starbucks in the Tidewater area. It’s close to my home and right on my way to work.
I love the fact that it has a full service drive thru. However most mornings the cars back up a line just like a line inside. The store gets cars through just like inside.
The staff is friendly and fast.

Pretty good Starbucks as the drinks are prepared at Starbucks standards in a fairly efficient manner. Personal service is good, the seating inside and out are pretty clean and not worn. The bathrooms are clean and it’s fairly conveniently located. The down side is the drive thru is a little slow, I’ve gone a couple times and they’ve run out of a few items I was craving… and…it’s Starbucks expensive. All-​in-​all it’s A-​OK for me.

Good place for coffee. Not a lot of indoor seating. It’s right off Northhampton. Getting in and out of the parking lot is tricky so be careful.
Conveniently located near a Krispy Kreme Shop… nice.

This Starbucks is okay. The lady at the front was very nice and friendly, but it took a bit for my drink to be made and served. I almost thought they had forgotten about it. My drink was made right, and if I lived in the area, I’d probably come back.

What can I say about Starbucks? This location is my Chesapeake Bay bridge coffee stop. I fuel up before heading up 13. Depends on what time you come in, there might or might not be a line. Staff is kind and friendly.

Coffee and a cookie was ordered «for here» I asked that the cookie be warmed up and put on a plate. They got the coffee order correct, but the cookie was handed off in a bag, but warmed up. I wish they would listen, this is just annoying for this location. You pay to darn much for this, but I was not going to complain after earlier issues I had today. Improvement over the last visit any way.
