If I didn’t have anywhere to sleep and someone said you can stay at the Super 8 or sleep under a bridge, I’d choose the bridge. The front desk girl was the rudest person I’ve met in the customer service industry in awhile. When asked to speak with management, she said the manager was in India. When the 1 – 800 number was called, they weren’t helpful either. The experience was terrible. Do not stay here, there are too many other options in Norman.

If I had known that there would be this many internet issues, and that I would have to use my cell phone and incur $ 30 extra expenses, I would have avoided this hotel. This hotel skimps on expense but is cheap. I get it. For me, the internet was way too bad.

We have stayed at this Super 8 many times over the past four years. We like the fact that it is locally owned. The breakfast and coffee used to be quite good but we noticed it has declined dramatically this time. The room(119) was recently remodeled and actually quite nice. The deodorant or whatever they use in the rooms is a bit overwhelming and our room actually smelled a lot like it was a smoking room. In past visits we have enjoyed the pool, hot tub and ping pong table. This time the pool was murky and had an odd smell. Lastly the price has increased by about 30−35% from the last time we were there in June 2012.

Decent price but you get what you pay for. Rooms are a nice size and the free breakfast has a good selection but the old lady who maintains it is quite rude. if the pool and hot tub area is a big selling point for you this one should be avoided. Bottom line– you can’t expect a four star hotel at a two star price

clean simple room, nice front desk help, free wifi, a decent rate(especially if you book at their website).
