The place was very busy but I quickly got a table. The time for the food to arrive was pretty good. I ordered a steak to be cooked medium. When I got the steak it was bloodier than the Civil War(this is a bit of an exaggeration). While I was a bit disappointed by the under cooked steak, when I tried it I found out it tasted great. The server was nice. Everything went well. I will make sure to come back again.

Visited Mon 6⁄13 around 6pm for dinner with a friend. Sat and looked over menu trying to find drinks and apps. Found the«Tonion», and when the server approached I asked if she would put that in for us. When our server returned we asked if there were any specials, she said«No». .. We explained it was our first time here. I noticed an advert sitting behind the salt and pepper shaker for«Happy Hour Specials». We ordered 2 beers for $ 3 a piece. Server did not card me, but should have as I clearly look questionable on my age. Maybe she wasn’t Basset Certified. Hot bread was delicious, the app was soooo good. I ordered Parmesan Crusted Chicken and fries with salad. My friend ordered the 10oz Salmon with rice and mashed potatoes. We shared both entrees and they were both really good. The only problem we had was we think our server was either new or has poor training. She seemed rehearsed in what to say, but did not seem confident in how to explain the menu. No pictures in the menu, and some entrees said they come with a side and a salad, while others(like steaks) did not mention anything. Our dirty dishes were piled up from app, side plates and salad bowls, and 2 other tables next to us in the bar area were dirty with bits of food. None of the employees smiled nor did they seem as if they were having fun or enjoyed their jobs. Prices were a little bit higher than what I would expect for the portions we received, however food was delicious. I would recommend take out from Long Horn, but probably not a dine-in experience.

Came on a rainy Friday night at 8:30. Not busy. Asked for a twin lobster tail dinner, which I’ve ordered before and always enjoyed. One was fine. The other was disintegrated, mushy, and small. It looked undercooked. I asked the waitress about it, and she said she’d send it back, and have it cooked some more.(It’s not a steak…). 20 minutes later, after no follow-up from the waitress of if they were cooking another or not, and after I finished my first tail), I received another one. Slightly larger,(still less than my first tail), but still had a bit of that mushier consistency. I just dealt with it. I’ve always loved the lobster tail from this spot before, but Idk… from what I received, it leads me to believe they use a frozen one. Probably would never opt for the lobster tail again. She forgot 10 minutes after I asked for a coke refill. Just really unattentive… We decided to close up our tab, after waiting forever to get the check. We went to the bar, hoping to order some drinks and have dessert there. After sitting on a stool for 15 minutes without being acknowledged by the bartender(only 3 other patrons were at the bar.) I just left. Hey if they don’t want my money, I’ll find another establishment that does. 2 stars only because the food is good. I’ve been here other times before, but this was the worst.

Ordered take out and whoever took the order forgot a lobster tail and the lava desert. When we called to let them know and spoke to the rudest manager ever. Apparently they don’t care much for customer service.

Thank You Jenny and Latese For making a rainy day pleasant. I stopped in flustered from the rain on a bike ride and got the hospitality of a lifetime. Fresh coffee, veggies, sweet potatoes and relaxed environment. I could have left my shoes at the door if this experience was any better. :) !

So I want to preface this by saying that I always, always, ALWAYS give servers and waitstaff the benefit of the doubt. I am generally I very patient patron and I am very understanding of the how tough the job of a server is. However, my experience at Longhorn Steakhouse regarding the service was a joke. First, we wait 35 minutes to be seated on the Thuraday night. I think to myself, they must be pretty busy. When my mom and I are finally seated we walk past several open tables and booths. Only about half of the tables have people seated at them. This was really frustrating. I mean, what were we waiting for if there are plenty of tables and the place isn’t very busy at all? We are given menus and told that our server, Cam, will be with us shortly. A whole 15 minutes later, we see Cam for the first time. He is very polite and friendly but had no apology or explanation as to why we’ve been waiting so long. He asked if he could get us started with some drinks. Well, we’ve been sitting here with the menu for over 15 minutes. We’re past the point of «getting started» so we order drinks and our meals right then. The food and drinks surprisingly didn’t take too long. But they were brought out by someone else, not Cam. I look around for him to see if we can get some ketchup and extra napkins. He is no where to be found so I have to get up and go ask the bartender so I can eat before my food is cold. The food was pretty good. Good portions and cooked as we requested. Then we finished and waited for the bill. About 25 minutes go by since we’ve finished our meals and we have still not seen Cam since he took our order nearly an hour ago. We decide to give him another 5 minutes before we ask the hostess how to get our bill. Cam thankfully shows up before the five minutes is up to give us our bill and take our plates. Again, he is very nice, but still no apology or explanation as to where he’s been the entire time. We wanted to pay with a card, but considering how long it might take for him to run the card and get it back to us, we decide to pay with cash instead. We leave a 10% tip, which is the smallest tip either of us have ever left a server, ever. I just want to emphasize that I would have been far less frustrated of the restaurant was busy and the servers were swamped but trying their best. But this was not the case here. The place was not very busy and it’s not as if i saw our server bustling about, trying to attend to everyone. We just didn’t see him and had no idea where he was or who was supposed to wait on us in his absence. Thank goodness we weren’t on a schedule and didn’t have anywhere to be. We would have had to just walk out.

One time it was my birthday and I was going to Longhorn. I was excited to go, and my family was there and my mom ordered me a steak. Once they had served it to me, I was surprised that it was so big. I couldn’t wait to eat it, I was surprised that I could eat the whole thing. It was so good, and now I like steaks. That’s why I always ask my mom, can I have steaks for dinner.

Well I made my way over here today to have lunch with my wife. Upon entering the place had a musty stench that wasn’t nice. I try to ignore it so we were greeted and seated quickly which was nice. Don’t get me wrong the place is clean, organize, spacious but maybe someone used a dirty mop anyways. Let start with the service it was top notch. The starter was the fresh warm bread, so good. We started with their fried spicy shrimp cocktails really excellent. Our main course was 11oz sirloin with creamy mash potatoes and it was juicy, tasty, succulent. The chef here are on point the plating and presentation was superb. Damm it was so good. I can’t wait to return. I highly recommend this steak house.

I went to this location for a quick lunch! Well I sat there for over 10 minutes and no one came to even take my drink order and my finance and I were the only ones in there! Give me a break! So we walked out. I am appalled there are a million places where I can go to eat and this will not be one of them ever again!

The service was very mediocre. We tried this location for a change, because we usually go to the one in desplaines. I was not happy with the service. Our server paid little attention to our table. The food was good.

Completely disappointed. We came here for my mom’s birthday with a party of 7 and had to wait over an hour for a table. I was understanding of the wait time since the restaurant doesn’t take reservations. The worst part part was them seating us at a table for 6 when there is clearly 7 of us. We are seated at the table, elbows touching, the waiter came by and didn’t even tell us his name and then brought us 6 waters. If you can’t count to 7 maybe you shouldn’t be a waiter. We then had to wait another 5 – 7 minutes for a manager to come so we could explain to him how 7 people sitting down with elbows touching was uncomfortable. They fixed that situation and then the waiter came back and started taking drink orders and finally told us his name, Rick. To be quite honest, I would not come back to this location based on the service alone. Maybe I’ll try another longhorn, but not this one.

I had one of the greatest steaks EVER on Monday night. It was a 16oz Classic Prime Rib served by Miggy, one of the nicest servers in the Chicagoland area! When Miggy brought my steak to the table I was amazed! It looked so huge and juicy, I couldn’t wait to stick my knife in to carve it up. The Prime Rib was cooked medium, just the way I ordered it. It was tender, juicy, and the flavor was out of this world. I had a side of mashed potatoes, salad, and the bread Miggy brought out was so warm, the butter melted right in. My Aunt had the 10oz Salmon and she enjoyed her meal as much as I did. We both agreed to come back to Longhorn soon because of our experience Monday. For dessert, we both had Key Lime Pie which had a powerful taste which ranks right up there with slices I have ordered from other great restaurants. Besides the great food and service, the decorum was classic western. Oh, you can’t miss the giant bull head they have above the bar! Ya, that western! The lighting was cozy, the music was pop and upbeat. It’s a great place to bring a date or for the whole family to dine.

Steaks are ok, drinks could use some work… A bit over price; I’m not one to argue when the food, drinks and service is great, but this is not it.

I’m not going to give this place or their manager Latese Anderson any ammunition to prepare themselves for a defense to justify why this happened to me on Tuesday. I said what I needed to say to Latese when I returned two hours after the incident. I had time to eat at the Outback and cool off from the altercation. She knows what I’m talking about but it needs to be addressed to corporate as this is a food chain. My boyfriend’s brother in law, Joe Clifton, is a GM for an Olive Garden and he’s embarrassed for Latese as these two franchises are affiliated. So for now, all I am going to tell you is that she discriminated my service dog and kicked me out of her restaurant. I met with my psychologist today and he encouraged me to file a formal complaint so incidents like this doesn’t happen to others like me. Coincidentally, a similar incident happened recently to a Veteran at a Houlihan’s in Algonquin, IL and a physician is suing an establishment for being escorted out by police in FL.

Date night! Let’s go baby! So he took me to Longhorn. Porter house for the Mr. And Hinneys which by the way were 4.99 not bad at all! Outlaw for me and a Watermelon Margarita. Steaks were perfection! Our Server was Sofia. She was friendly, professional and on point. Checked back often but also gave us our space. Friday night, we got there just before the overfill. By the time we left people were waiting to be seated. Nice evening, great dinner, impeccable service. A 10 out of 10. Will most definitely repeat and if you have a hankering for some good and reasonably priced steaks and drinks, this is a great place for it!

Food was mediocre the day my family and ate here. Ordered Mac and cheese for my sons and the Mac and cheese was nothing special. It looked like something cooked from a box of Kraft’s Mac and cheese. You would think their Mac and cheese would be made by them. Yuck. The server was extremely slow. I was very disappointed with the sirloin steak. It was not worth the price. The steaks were bland. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. Everything else was a big disappointment.
