Came here with my friend during our lunch break(A fellow Unilocaler), and our experience at this Wingstop was much better than the other reviews. Sanitation: A+. A lovely aroma of mouthwatering wings as soon as you step through the door. Every table was equipped with all of the wing-eating necessities one could ask for, including a plethora of napkins to alleviate the mess that the delicious food accompanies. I’ve always been a fan of the lemon pepper, and the mango habanero, and Wingstop has yet to fail me. Taking into consideration the populace of New Brunswick, this place seems to be doing considerably well, in addition to the super friendly staff. I’ve been to several different Wingstop locations, and this one is easily my favorite. I heard about it in my daily commute in the morning through Hot 97, which was surprising considering I wasn’t thinking about Chicken Wings during breakfast time, however the desire plagued me all through the day, and the advertising caught my attention during lunch time. Wingstop over Buffalo Wild Wings any day of the week, and if you’re in the area, I strongly urge you to check this place out.

This wingstop definitely gets a 10⁄10 not only is their food cooked fresh and delicious, they are family owned and operated which adds a little extra to your casual sit-down fast food experience. Be sure to try the lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan, Louisiana rub and original hot. They have a very spacious dining area with a semi-open kitchen in case you wanted to watch the team prepare your savory wings! They have special combo-meals which are great for a single person but hearty enough to share. Don’t forget to grab a few of their sweet rolls, they pair very well with their spicy wings! The most fascinating part of my WingStop experience here was the fact that there are no garbage cans, an employee came and cleaned the table the moment we left, it was a great touch!

I had a terrible experience at this location. I ordered a family pack of wings, veggies sticks and fries on Sunday for Super Bowl. It was my first time ordering at Wings Stop. I went into the store around 5pm and was told that they wouldn’t be taking any more orders until 8pm. I was walking out and I am guessing manager/owner yelled back and told me that it was ok to order again. I found it odd but went ahead and ordered and they told me that they would call when the wings were ready to be picked up. They said 45 minutes to an hour so I went back home. It was 6:20 and I had not received a call back to pick up the orders. I already had guests at my house with no food. So I called and they told me the order was ready to be picked up so my husband went to pick it up. The food arrived and we sat down to eat. My friends kids and my kids had already started eating the veggie sticks when we noticed that the carrots sticks had mold on them. We were so disgusted and scared that we were going to get sick that we threw out all the food. I called Wings Stop and told them what happened and the manager said that right now he was extremely busy but for me to come in on Monday and he would make it up to me. So last night I go in, and the manager comes to the register and tells me that he will give me a gift card for $ 5. I told him I was under the impression he would give me a refund since the food had mold in it. He went ahead to say that only the veggie sticks had mold and they cost a dollar and change and he was being nice giving me $ 5 dollars. I even showed him a picture of the carrots and it was evident that there was mold on them. I honestly had to walk away because I was livid. I asked for the owner’s phone # and I called and it goes straight to a voicemail with no greeting, so I am not sure if this is a fake phone # he gave me so he would not get in trouble. Having mold on the food put my family and my friends in a major health risk. I am actually contemplating reporting it to the Board of Health. The manager called me and is still arguing with me that the green and blue dots on the carrots are not mold. This is not acceptable. My kids were exposed and ate moldy vegetables. I will never go back there again.

It is as simple as this. If you are even the slightest bit hesitant on trying this place(because you have never heard of it before like me), STOP your hesitation now. Wing Stop has the best wings that I have ever had. The lemon pepper wings were so much better than I expected. I am not a big lemon person but they were so delectable that I would definitely order them again. The wings also weren’t greasy or oily because I hate when it is like that. This place is has officially become my go-to.

Tried Wingstop today for the first time and was very pleased! The lady that took my order was very nice. We ordered 20 classic wings(classic buffalo, lemon pepper, and Parmesan garlic). We really like the lemon pepper and Parmesan garlic! Both were so fresh, crispy, and tasty. We didn’t really like the classic Buffalo though. I mean, the taste was okay but they were not as crispy as the other two flavors(the reason I gave 4 stars and not 5). I’d definitely go back but I would just order the lemon pepper and Parmesan garlic. Lemon pepper is my favorite though. I can see why Rick Ross loves them. At least now I know he has good taste in food!

I am not a big fan of wings but my boyfriend loves it and was ecstatic to come try this place out when he found out it was opened. Like a good girlfriend, I went with him and was blown away by the great customer service and the quality of wings. Of course my boyfriend is bias and says cluck u is better but whenever I am craving wings I know I can come here for their fresh selection and wide variety of sauces. Also, the fries are delicious and I love their coca cola machine! 4 stars from me.

Wing Stop is a much needed franchise in the area. For years, this area was plagued with pizzerias selling frozen wings and the dreaded corporate beast known as buffalo wild wings(which always leaves me sick). There used to be a cluck u chicken in the area but that went out of business. This place reminded me of Cluck u. Similar take out and seating with TVs, freshly made chicken with zero additives and fillers and delicious custom sauces. This place is priced competitively, offers a fresh product that does not leave you feeling fat and bloated, super clean, and has employees that seemingly enjoy working there. I have been there 6 times over the past two weeks(yes I have a problem). I have tried mango habenaro, hot, mild, garlic parm and the spicy Korean Q. All of which are different and delicious. Try this place out!

I never crave wings. I usually end up eating them because #1: I want a beer so I go to a bar or restaurant(have 2 or 3) then end up ordering wings just because or #2: I want to check out(insert sporting event/game here) which then results in rule #1. With that said, to Wing Stops credit, they have three tv’s and as one game ended they immediately changed the channel to the next game airing. So, if I wanted to check out a game Wing Stop is a go except for rule #1 they don’t have a liquor license. So, with that said, Wing Stop is out(for me) I truly don’t see the need for a wing place that doesn’t have(at the very least) beer; but others might, so on with the food… As many(not all) have said the fries are very good. I actually ordered the vegetables(carrots and celery) as my side but found myself picking at my son’s fries(much to his dismay). They were not overly salty(as others have complained) so maybe they found the balance or maybe we just got luck. The vegetables were fine a little too wet perhaps(at least I know they were cleaned). The portion of fries vs the portion of vegetables is extremely off(you get way more fries). Speaking of wet the blue cheese dressing they use is thin, and fairly flavorless… huge disappointment. They have posted they don’t use warmers or microwaves which is great but maybe they can move away from jarred crap(like that dressing) next. The moment of truth… the wings. I ordered a 8 piece combo($ 10.49 wings, fries or veg + 20oz beverage) and added an extra three(for almost three dollars they average almost a buck a wing). I ordered 4 Mango Habanero, 4 Korean BBQ(special flavor), and three Atomic(their hottest sauce). The crisp on the wings were okay(not undercooked or fatty) and were(for the most part) meaty. Where the wings fell flat for me were the sauces. They rate the heat level of their wings with flames 1 — 5. The Korean was a 3, Mango Habanero was a 4, and Atomic was the lone 5. Mango flavor was present in the Mango Habanero but the heat was toned down considerably for something touting habanero. There was a slight back of the throat burn but given the name it did not deliver. Atomic was also a disappointment. The bulk of the heat comes from corse pepper(something you might find just above the middle heat area of other wing places). I really can’t believe this is their hottest wing??? The bright side was the Korean BBQ. It was sweeter than the others(maybe 2 flames not 3) but was the tastiest of the three I tried. So when all is said and done the ultimate question is are they better than B-Dubs? It’s their main competition in the area… While B-Dubs can sometimes serve some fatty gross wings you can ask for crispy or well done. The flavors are also more on point at B-Dubs and they have more tv’s and alcohol. If your in No. Brunswick and want wings hit up B-Dubs. If you’re near Newark and see Wing Stop hit up Mighty Quinns, Cheeseburger In Paradise, or Sharky’s instead.

They are not the experts at wings. The flavors weren’t to my liking. I think they can go bold with the flavor but they didn’t. And overall everything was too salty, including fries. We tried mild, teriyaki, Hawaiian, lemon & pepper wings. All in boneless style. Size of the wings are good. It’s made to order so expect to wait 10 mins for your order. 60c each, but not if you order 6. Order of 6 must get a combo. Place is decent with three TVs.(How about a roll of paper on each table?) I was excited to see new wings place. However, sadly, I will not be going back.

The order was picked up without any issues. The family pack of 40 wings was ordered with a side. All of the wings were boneless. The side was fries with Cajun seasoning. The size of the boneless wings were somewhat disappointing. I have listed each item I tried below. Hickory Smoked BBQ — It was my favorite sauce of the ones I tried this time around. The sauce was tangy and tasty. There was not an overbearing of the sauce either. Atomic — This was just not good. It was very hot, but not to the point where it was unbearable. There was too much of a hot pepper taste. Mango Habanero — This was a nice flavor. It had a very nice little kick to it that was just right. It was a nice balance of sweet and spicy. Mild — This was a classic wing sauce without the spiciness factor. It was solid, but nothing terrific. Cajun Seasoned Fries — They were salty this time around. There was not much of a Cajun seasoning either. There was a taste of some of the Cajun seasoning, but not on a majority of the fries.

Are fellow Unilocalers visiting the same location? This is one I just don’t get! The pros: everything is made to order, reasonably fresh and hot. It’s clean and well-organized. With that said, we have tried the wings three times. The missus loves the parm garlic ones. But the standard«buffalo» … disappointing. Not«saucy» at all, in fact rather dry. The fries were horrible. Not once, not twice, but three times. Well cooked, but like an entire bottle of salt on them. I am not a salt-o-phone. I LOVE Five Guys’ fries. No contest. I really, really wanted to like this place. Maybe it’s me — I also do not understand the allure of Buffalo Wild Wings(unless you’re drinking, but Wingstop no habla alcohol). If you want those types of frozen, chain wings, you will probably like it. But if you want traditional buffalo wings, there are better local options … maybe a little seedy and downmarket, but better!

Wings are good. Fries are awesome. I used their app to order wings a couple of times. Here’s my reason for three stars. Two times in a row I had ordered Cajun seasoning for my wings, one time I got lemon pepper and the second time it was atomic.

Great service, two women were very friendly and took great care of me, however I like buffalo wild wings food better. I got the 24 pack and had three flavor boneless buffalo wings, teriyaki, mild, and barbecue. They were all good. This came with French fries which were also good. I would go back to try some other menu items in the future:)

I downed a dozen wings and could have easily downed a dozen more. From that you may conclude that they were(a.) pretty good but(b.) not all that meaty. My biggest objection was the community roll of non-perforated paper towels(in a wing joint, of all places.) You have to hold it with your hands dripping with wing sauce while you tear off a piece, leaving your mark behind for the next person. Seriously, invest in a pull down dispenser with perforated sheets so you don’t have to touch what you don’t take. Not a whole lot else to say about a place that only does wings. They were OK but it will not unseat your favorite pub. Wings are bar food for a reason. Meant to go with a beer and sports.

Very pleasant staff and atmospheres. We just heard about the place and decide to stop by. Enjoyed the boneless wings, found out there was a special going on Monday and Tuesday .60 a wing). The wings were meaty and very well sauced. Will go there for sure …

First thing first the wings are probably the best around the area. I was surprised how the food is actually made for order so expect to wait but not too long, since the staff will try their best to get orders ASAP. For a wing place to have only been open for a few weeks it seems they’ve been there for someone with the way the handle their time and food. If you are a first timer, get the Louisiana Rub and Lemon Pepper and definitely get fries they are the best I’ve tried. With all the selection of restaurants around the plaza try Wingstop before any of the others. Since the have a freestyle machine you have million of flavored to choose from plus free refills ‘!!!

Went on Sunday and had the freshest and crispiest wings I’ve ever had. It was my first visit to Wingstop and it did not disappoint! I was never a fan of dry rubs, but that quickly changed with the Garlic Parmesan, which was flavorful and perfectly coated. I also tried the honey BBQ wings – would recommend! I was very impressed by the price as well; the combo orders cost less than anticipated. The staff was also friendly and helpful, the place is new and clean. My girlfriend and I liked the wings so much, we were back for takeout less than a week later. Definitely our new go-to wing place.

These are the best chicken wings I have had in a long time. Crispy and juicy with plenty to choose from in sauces. The spicy Korean BBQ is a must. Accompanied with fresh hand cut seasoned fries, which were delicious. You have to wait a bit because the wings are cooked fresh to order, which is what makes them so good. Recommend ordering ahead, call or download the phone app. Highly recommend. They know how to make their wings here because it is all they do. Can’t wait to return.

Holy cow. I really wanted this to be a 5 star review. I wish I could give Wing Stop 5 stars, but I just can’t. Let me start with the positives — and there are some really great positives. First, everything is made to order. Prepare to wait a few minutes more than you might expect, but I think that’s a good thing. As I mention below, the food was cooked properly and not over-done. For the quality prep, worth a little wait. It might be better to order ahead online and just go pick up your order. Incidentally, their website is actually pretty easy to use, even from a phone, and offers quite a few options to customize your order. I was considering ordering online before we decided to just take a ride over there. We ordered a 24 wing combo. It comes with a large order of fries, an order of veggie sticks(celery and carrots), your choice of 3 wing sauces, and 3 dipping sauces. Big plus: Many options of sauces and dips as well as how to divide your wings! We ended up splitting our order to 12 boneless for my wife and 12 drum-only wings for me. She had the Garlic Parmesan sauce and I opted to further split into Classic Hot and Louisiana Hot. The Classic Hot is exactly what I was looking for — nice spicy wings without being super duper hot, with lots of flavor. I’m a little bit of a chili-head, but definitely want some flavor with my spice. Not a whole ton of sauce to prevent the bleu cheese from adhering to the wing. Solid. On track for a solid 4 star review here. Not exactly wing Nirvana, but good, solid wings. My wife wasn’t a fan of the the Garlic Parmesan. I tasted one of her wings, and it was flavorful, but pretty heavy on the parmesan. I’m not a cheese fan, so it was just meh for me. Again, done properly. Not overcooked, so nice and tender. Now the Louisiana Hot. I don’t know how these are, because we ended up getting Lemon Pepper in our order. This was not the only goof-up in our order by the person who took our order, either. So, BIG minus here. I’m not sure if it was a language barrier or a new computer system or what the problem was, but Louisiana Hot was replaced with Lemon Pepper, and the cheese sauce for our fries was on the side despite asking for the sauce ON the fries. The Lemon Pepper drumsticks were mild, so not entirely my taste. They were pretty good with ranch dressing. Again, properly done wings(not over-done, which is super easy to do) with good flavor. The highlight for me, believe it or not, was the fries. I can’t quite identify what’s in their spice blend, but it may just be John-Crack™. This stuff is good. And even for a non-cheese guy like me, the cheese sauce is really yummy. My next to-go order might be just a large order of fries with cheese sauce on the side! TL;DR version: If it weren’t for the counter/order goof-up, this would still be a 4 Star review rather than 5. I’m a little disappointed that I wasn’t completely blown away by Wing Stop. I was very much hoping to find our go-to wing spot. We’ll go back, but probably won’t be in super heavy rotation. Pros: — OMG you guys, the fries! — Solid wings cooked properly. — Classic Hot sauce has good flavor and spice without being overwhelming. — Lemon Pepper wings are a good option for those who aren’t fans of spicy. — Not an overwhelming amount of sauce. — Order was correct as it was taken. — All food is made to order, so be prepared for a bit of a wait or order ahead online. — Restaurant is clean and staff are responsive(my wife had a spill, and the manager was quick to make sure it got cleaned up promptly). — They have the 100+ varieties Coke machine! Woot! Cons: — Garlic Parmesan sauce is underwhelming. — Counter person goofed up our order.
