Great little place ! We had a bacon cheddar croissant, blueberry cream cheese Danish and the blueberry buttermilk biscuit. They were all delicious! The staff was super friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

Great bakery. I haven’t had anything there that wasn’t great. The sandwiches are all good, but the crispy speck is the best. They rotate the sandwich menu maybe monthly? I’m not sure. They just started selling espresso drinks as well. And I believe they’re close at 10pm now. Used to be 2 – 4 ish.

I’ve been going to EVO for pizza for years. Up until a week ago, I was unaware they had a bakery side; I was so excited to find this out. After stopping in one morning, ordering a coffee, and a cheese danish, I was hooked. They’re true local artisans. Everything I’ve had thus far has been amazing. The coffee is from Charleston Coffee Roasters and brewed perfectly. The pastries are baked just right; very flakey and savory. They do not seem as if they’re loaded down with a bunch of processed ingredients or overly sugary. You can really taste the freshness. I highly recommend!

I really like this place. It could be either they were the only thing opened in this area at 07:00 or I am starving and needed food to do my walk of shame. Either way they are not easy to find. Luckily I saw the signs in my drunken adventures in the Park Circle area and thought to myself, «Self if you’re ever stranded or are here early one morning you need to try this place». So here I am waiting for my drunk friends to get up so I can get a ride home. Enough about me. This place is a delightful respite to an unusually cold morning that I woke up stranded to. No room inside to eat other than a shelf by the window with stools that a young couple was occupying. The sweet young lady was helping a customer ahead of me. Gave him his change and delightfully wish him a nice day. Then he interjected ummmm can I have my croissant? To which she whole heartedly apologized. I order croissant and coffee. Paid and also got bade have a nice day also sans croissant and a mother whole hearted apology. The speckle and provolone croissant is the Bees Knees. It was fresh and flaky. Although I had no clue what a speckle was, it was delicious. So my advice is don’t forget to get your croissant after you order it. Just saying.

EVO baguettes. Worth the drive. Luckily you can pick them up at places around town like goat.sheep.cow if you are downtown. Yes, they have other things besides baguettes. But don’t leave without taking a baguette home.

Headed out of town for the weekend to entertain some guests in the mountains, so stopped by for fresh bakery goods for breakfast. Being my first trip to this bakery,(after hearing rave reviews), we were thrilled to discover EVO! We picked up a couple speck and Gouda croissants, a bacon and cheddar croissant, an almond croissant and a couple fruit pastries. Warmed in the oven and served with a cup of coffee on the front porch in the mountains started our morning with perfection!

It is a small bakery but I would take the quality of the products here over a larger bakery with many items. Incredible! That’s the only way to describe it. The baguette was warm and smelled awesome. We also picked up a fontina and arugula croissant which was out of this world. I only had one bite because I am trying to avoid an early heart attack! They also have growler beer and their own EVO. Do be sure to get there early because this bakery also supplies quite a few other small businesses with their products.

The bakery behind EVO is a great place to get coffee and pastries in the morning or awesome sandwiches for a quick lunch. Open 7 – 4 you can buy their outstanding bread all day.

We stopped in recently to check out Evo’s bakery, which is located behind their pizza restaurant. I had seen what I thought to be the bakery’s menu online earlier in the day, but it was actually the daily specials menu for the pizza restaurant. The bakery of course has baked goods like cookies, breads, pastries, but they also have sandwiches. Their menu appears to change daily and they don’t post it online, but I think that the caprese sandwich is a pretty regular option, so that’s what we had. I have to say without a doubt that it is quite possibly the best caprese sandwich I’ve ever had. They add an unusual ingredient that makes me really love it… olive tapenade. It really kicked it up a notch. Their coffee is also really good and they even have a cold brewed option, which I super love. A little known secret, if you are hankering for some bread but get there too late, EVO Pizza basically has the end of day leftovers available for the pay-what-you-will donation price. They are on the window seal inside with an honor system donation jar. The money gets donated to charity, but I’m not sure which one. Prices are reasonable, seating is limited both inside and out. They day we were there, they seemed to be missing a lot of chairs. They said that the Pizza part often ‘steals’ them. We ended up going over and eating our sandwiches outside in front of Cork.

Go early. The bread is good, have not tried the pastries, since we went late. Place seems like they make good stuff. I will go back for more. FrankG

seriously, this is as good as it gets. Staff is friendly, the fresh baked bread has become a staple in my house and has become one of those little things that make life so good. I treat myself to some local, naturally cured olives once in a while. This was one of my favorite treats living in Europe, and this is the only place in the states where i have found olives of this quality. And last but not least, the coffee… ohhh the coffee! $ 2.00 no frills, bring your own mug. the evo blend or dark brew… its all good. Its a local roaster and it is incredible. I am blessed to have the pick of the lot when it comes to coffee, daily i am between DT, WA, and N. Chas, and evo’s coffee is my number 1 pic.

Awesome baguettes. This place is tucked right behind the EVO pizzeria. I had an almond chocolate croissant — only thing almond about it was the sliced almonds on top, it didn’t have almond paste inside. My baguette to go was great but got hard in the course of one day. Eat yours fast!

Came here the other day for a meeting. Contrary to another review, they do have seating inside. It’s very limited but there are 4 stools at a bar. It had just finished raining the other day and so we sat inside. Everything in the case looked amazing but I decided on a Chocolate Croissant. It was fresh and delicious. The staff was very nice and it was cool to watch the process for the corner of my eye as they worked on baking different things. I was there for an hour or so for my meeting and they didn’t fuss or seem like they wanted us to go by any means. I have had their bread and am kicking myself for not taking any with me on my way out. It’s an absolute must for any trip to park circle and it’s my loss. The bread is cheap too I wish they were close by me so I could use their bread for everything, They also had a couple craft brews on tap and do growler and half growler fills.

Evo’s bread is divine and I love having this place right down the road. I stop at least once a week for coffee and a treat. They have baguettes and plenty of other bread varieties, flat breads, croissants, etc. I typically go for coffee and a few cookies — or if I’m feeling saucy perhaps a croissant with some concoction of cheese, arugula and delicious deli meat wrapped inside. As I’m writing this review I’m now wondering WHY I didn’t stop there this morning. Ugh, the regret.

Very limited menu but delicious bakery items. I had a chocolate croissant($ 3.50) and my husband had a blackberry almond pistachio pinwheel. Both pastries were delicious. I will be visiting again! They had a few lunch sandwiches on the menu but for breakfast only pastries so don’t plan on going unless you aren’t afraid of butter and calories! They also serve Charleston Roasters organic coffee($ 2.50) and Local tea. There are a few tables outside but no seating inside. Located behind Evo Pizzeria in Park Circle.
