This place isn’t so bad. Don’t come in with high expectations. Its your typical buffet. The food is under seasoned to make it palatable to all ages groups. Avoid foods that tend to sit long and avoid the taco meat far too many rushed trips to the bathroom after eating it. Their Lunch is poor to fair while their dinner selection is much better fair to good quality. Overall average food average price average number of stars

My family and were regulars, once a month. Then I got new glasses. Ewww. The wallpaper was once a different color. Now its old dried food covered. I know as my son had some food fly from his fork so I tried to clean it off. It was a big mistake now there is a clean spot surrounded by muchhh darker wallpaper. Next visit2 weeks later. I went to the, ladies room to wash my hands prior to eating. The ladies room was disgusting. My son came out of the mens room and told me «laughing» the same«shit» is still on the floor in the same place. Yes he meant actual shit. I his mother went into mens room and yes it was shit. We just left. I didnt even ask for a refund as we had already had a drink and filled a plate with food. Never will i go back unless total renovation and especially cleaning is done. Better to go to Chipoltes and get poisoned.

I used to love Old Country Buffet but it’s not the same. My last visit I was not impressed. Not much of a selection and the food was blah. I miss the one in Seekonk. That place was always cleaner, friendlier, and their was more variety.

Very disappointing. The places looks okay on the surface but in reality is quite filthy. My boyfriend had to hunt for clean silverware and we questioned the quality of everything here…

The GF and I killed ourself at the gym and then went here after, big mistake. There are only a few tables of food, which were either miss labeled or empty while we were there. The men’s room reeked of urine and when we decided on dessert we had to look at over 20 different spoons to find 2 that weren’t caked with old food not washed off. Questioned the quality of the food… 0⁄10 will not return here.

An American boofay Old Country Buffet is part of the Ovation Company that operates about 350 boofays in 35 states. The brand includes not only Old Country Buffet but also Country Buffet and Home Town Buffet. Quite of few of the Home Town Buffets seemed to have closed down in the last several years. This boofay features typical American food and doesn’t have the variety of many Asian boofays. Lots of chicken, beef, pizza and veggies but certainly nothing exotic or unexpected. The desserts were pretty good, with ice cream and cake and cookie thingies. It’s a boofay so don’t expect much in the way of service. In fact the best thing the servers can do at a boofay is stay out of the way. Our empty dishes were promptly removed and our water glass kept filled. That’s all we wanted. A typical boofay that gave us exactly what we expected. Lots of food of different types and no waiting or servers hovering about. A good place when you want a quick and filling meal without a whole lot of fuss.

We went for lunch 12÷15÷15 the food was good as always but we found the place dirty. While setting at the table eating I happend to look at the square pole by the table and it had layers of dried on food on it. It looked like it was there a long time. Also I went to the mens room, and it was a wet mess, I thought I was going to fall I did say something to a worker. also the rugs were all stickey as well as the table. In the past we never seen this I hope it gets better becouse I do like the food. Next time you go take notice! .

Breakfast buffet is good. I will return again. Sigh on door says offers it on Saturdays and Sundays. I really enjoy breakfast buffets. This is the only one in may area. Food seems to be prepared in a factory then sent out to their locations. I don’t believe there’s a chef. I did see an omelet station with a person. But i already had my plate full. Next I’ll try the omelets. Hay $ 8 all you can eat. Would be nice if New Bedford area had more breakfast buffets though.

Very disappointed. My husband and I were extremely taken back at the poor quality of food. We were told the special was clam chowder. After being there for 35 minutes and asking twice no clam chowder even came out to the buffet. Nothing was properly labeled, you didn’t know what was chicken or fish. Pizza was gross, potatoes looked like wall paper glue. The whole place smelled of spilled milk, bathrooms were filthy. People were rude, cut in line, used there hands to grab food. Big waste of 30 dollars to eat half a piece of chicken and wilted lettuce. We will never return or recommend this place.

Went for lunch today got there at 11:15 half the hot food wasn’t even ready, and the other was BARELY hot! I complained 1st to the girl on the buffet and got told bread was proofing and so they would have no rolls, no hamburgers etc for at least an hour? Then I get a plate of carrots and roast chicken I put margarine on the carrots and it stayed solid. They weren’t even lukewarm. I ask the woman that was supposed to handling tables, and show her the carrots, and get told«they’re always like that» I ask again about the empty slots and ask are they bringing anything else out because all you have for a $ 11 buffet is 3 kinds of chicken and a burnt pizza or lukewarm spaghetti and get told fried chicken is the meal special for lunch??? Ummm what? After I cut into cold chicken I ask the cashier, the only helpful person, what the deal is because all 3 of us aren’t happy,$ 35 for cold food and barely any choices we each hadn’t even had a plate I want to leave, she goes and tells the manager who then comes out and«checks» food temp by taking the probe and putting it against the metal of the steam trays, what? She then makes a huge show and says its fine don’t know what your issue is??? My issue is that my food is cold undercooked and there’s nothing else being added to buffet. Also I’ve worked in food service that’s not the way you check temp! We try again for new plates because we’ve paid and they aren’t going to refund and they’re now kinda hot but still poor quality. To top it all off someone in the kitchen drops something and yells a lovely curse that everyone had the joy of hearing, toddlers included, and the manager laughs. We left and called the survey asking for someone to call us, BADIDEA, they have the same manager call us and she immediately starts arguing with me! Its almost $ 12 for LUNCH and this is how they act? Crazy save your $$ and get crappy drive thru chicken you’d be way better off. And whatever you do don’t be honest on the survey I hung up on her after she threw me an attitude and she’s been calling my # NONSTOP.

Came in at 6 on a Saturday. They were understaffed and out of everything. We used to love this place but now they have gone downhill so much that I feel like I just wasted $ 90 and an evening with my family.

Foods not bad but service sucks especially the person at the register«Shakima». Had to call 4 times to get directions to the place. She either kept us on hold or hung up on! Very rude and unprofessional.

We stopped by here on the way to Cape Cod and gave it a try. What we found was basic American dishes on steam tables. Everything is over cooked; the chicken, the fish, the steak, the vegetables… Some of the items on dessert table were good. At $ 12 a person for lunch it is ok. One thumbs up: the bread/buscuit. They were delicious if you are luck to score one! The service was good and the place is clean.

I live in the area so I go often(guilty pleasure) the staff is incredibly nice and attentive the food is really good and the desserts are awesome plus you can make your own tacos !! The price is very reasonable for everything that you get and if you are a early bird they have breakfast which is is pretty good and there is a omelet bar and it’s good. If your in the area this is a good place to eat

First time I’ve been to a place like this and I was actually impressed. The food was actually pretty good and everything looked fresh. Each time my party approached the buffet, there was always someone switching out a selection of something and attending to the presentation. The hostess was very friendly, but loud. You could hear her greeting new diners from across the restaurant and she chatted away with a vengeance for being heard. The manager sat at a dining table next to the hostess — she appeared to have had plenty of free meals from the buffet. The staff approached her multiple times and asked her questions, but she wouldn’t budge from her spot and blocked the path for guests to enter with her leg. The other guests were rowdy and untamed. I didn’t know if I was eating at a restaurant or a brothel. I witnessed a guest throwing food behind the hostess and attempting to hit the trash barrel, he missed. There were multiple sweat-pant-clad families running around the dining area chasing youngsters with raised arms and shrieking voices. Chuck E Cheese is next door.

We dont have these in Jersey but I hear it’s the equivalent of McDonald’s? Well I cheated on my diet last Sunday and came here. I was a happy girl. I had rotisserie chicken, really good mac and cheese, really good mashed potatoes and really good gravy. Pot roast was also a winner. Steak was good. Just thumbs up all around. Nothing to complain about. Although service was minimal, it was good. There was always someone close by to take our dishes from our table. Cheesecake was also good. Nothing was amazing, but it is satisfying.
