No frills pizza joint. Delicious crust. Fast service. Friendly servers. Good place to grab a quick bite.

I have no idea why this place doesn’t have 5 stars across the board– this is the most delicious pizza I’ve ever had. It’s worth going to pick it up since they don’t offer delivery, but it is, hands down, the best pizza! Lightly crisp, New York style, thin but flavorful. I’ve had the cheese, pepperoni, supreme and potato/bacon. All of them incredible. My family and I have ordered from this place countless times and it hits the mark every time. Oh and a large is actually a large, not the«large» that others promise.

Ordered takeout from here and the place was hopping with orders for pickup. The pizza was very good… I’d say very similar to Paul and Eddy’s in Hamden. It’s definitely«New Haven style» with the charred brick-oven flavor that is very popular in this area and the toppings were of good quality and plentiful. As many others have said, the only knocks are that it is cash only(very odd for 2015 but apparently not limiting given how busy it was) and the lack of delivery. It’s also not a place you’d want to hang out in and eat SO, all things being equal, there are other more convenient options BUT this place does make a damn good pizza.

Good pizza, but a little over priced and they are a little rude. only open 6 hours. Called in at 8:15 any they would not take my order.

If you’re looking for a super thin crust, well done pie outside of New Haven — swing by here and enjoy! Beautiful execution of robust flavors and cooking time make for an incredible pizza. I cannot speak highly enough of how good the pizza is here. You know a pizza joint is good if they don’t deliver. So the fact that they don’t, looses no points from me, but the fact that they don’t take credit/debit card does. I get vendors take a few cents off of each sale, but honestly for the sake of convenience I would pay an extra buck to swipe my card than making sure I had enough cash. I wonder if it’s so they can keep sales earnings within a certain reported bracket? Whatever, I’m not the IRS I’m a pizza aficionado and they make it good. Go, go, enjoy — it’s without a doubt my favorite in Hamden/North Haven.

The best apizza outside of New Haven for sure. On a good day, maybe right up there with the big guys even. It’s our go-to spot, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday when they have a special on regular cheese pizzas. Five stars for the pizza. However I do have to give four stars overall just because they don’t take credit cards and they don’t deliver, both of which would make them much more convenient. One or the other I could overlook but together it does impact how often we go there so it has to affect the rating.

Meticulously devoured all the amazing pizza New Haven has to offer and this is my number one.
