Hamburger Joe’s

A friend recommended this place to us. A service window is provided for drinks while you wait to be seated. Be prepared for a 30 – 45 minute wait. The burgers were very good. The prices were a shock in a tourist location. VERY REASONABLE! The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Be prepared for the CASH ONLY policy.

Recommended by a local resident. They were busy, but our party of 5 wait for a table was under the 10 minutes estimated by hostess. Food was fresh. Cheeseburger with soggy bun was okay but not special. Grilled chicken sandwich was unimpressive. Service was efficient and very fast. Pleasant enough staff. Cash only.

Hamburger Joes is the perfect spot for grabbing a quick and delicious burger or wings, without breaking the bank. We also love the cafeteria-​style atmosphere. I did take off a star because they are cash only, which seemed to be just a way for the owner to make a couple extra bucks on every transaction — I mean it’s 2016, who still readily carries cash around?! I get the card fees, but sticking an ATM by the register and pinning the fee on the consumer seems ridiculous in this day and age!

We waited for a very long time to get in here! It was worth it! All the way burger was amazing! My daughter had the fried bologna sandwich, absolutely loved it! A Myrtle beach staple!

Got there at 12:10 and got a table immediately. By the time we left at 1, there were 30 – 40 people outside waiting to go in, so go early for lunch! Everything we got was delicious. Burgers were fresh and good. Fries were yummy. My kids got chicken fingers and cheese sticks. They were totally satisfied, and the cheese stick I ate from my daughter’s plate was one of the best ever. It was $ 30 for a family of 4 which is pretty reasonable for beach food. We will definitely go again if we stay close to it next year.

Not fancy but good especially at the price point. Fun, friendly staff and just all around good time.

We showed up during off peak hours. 2:00 and could not get a seat. Five other tables were seated ahead of us. We were told five minuets and waited thirty. Save your time and go somewhere that seats people as they arrive.

My favorite in Myrtle Beach. Must try the gold wings and slap some of thier Joe’s Sauce on your Burger, Dog, or fries. Take a bottle home!

We visit every time we are at the beach! One of our family favorites. We must have the gold wings. Every time we visit. Without fail. Husband goes for the blue cheese, and I go with ranch, however, you really don’t need to dip the wings with the delicious gold sauce that comes on it. He likes to get a cheeseburger all the way, and I like a cheeseburger with the garden fixings, but we are never disappointed. Must stop location! Great for kids. Don’t forget to bring CASH! Cash only, friends.

Burger hit the spot! It’s a nice little burger joint, very laid back atmosphere.
Bring cash as they don’t take cards. Party of 9 ate for $ 88+tip. You can’t beat that!

My all time favorite place at Myrtle Beach! You can’t beat $ 1 drafts and the food is great too. Fun family atmosphere. We visit at least twice every time we come down. Cheeseburger on the first trip and gold wings for the second! This is a must! You can’t go to Myrtle Beach and not visit Hamburger Joe’s…that’s just Un-​American

Awesome burgers and food, cheap drinks! The staff was absolutely amazing! Every server and busboy in there said they loved their jobs! Must be amazing management! We were even a little rambunctious and they were telling us we were the best ppl in there all week! Keep up the great food and work!

We go here every year! Very inexpensive and really good food for the price. Try the gold wings, they are some of the best you can get. Did I mention cold beer? Yep, I would eat here again, and again.

Best on beach for years $ 5.00 and your done !

Got a hamburger fries and a beer. Food was good staff were friendly. Nice change of pace getting out of the chain burger joints. I’ll be back

We went with a group of 9… first time down here on vacation with the family. We went with another family that we are traveling with. We ALL thought it was just ok. The service was good, however NOT friendly at all. Prices were not expensive. We ordered the sweet and spicy wings for an appetizer and they were more spicy than sweet. I had the Cheeseburger with grilled onions, you put your own ketchup and mustard on… not bad, but nothing out of this world. It’s cash only and forgive me, this was enough to turn me off in this day and time in a tourist area, let me say they do provide an ATM, but I would rather not pay the ATM fee to eat at their establishment. We would not go out of our way to go back. There are better burgers to be had.

Not bad. Golden wings were yummy and messy. Interesting $ 1 walks everywhere and service was good. Neat EXPERIENCE But Bring Cash As that’s only formof acceptable payment.

Hamburger Joe’s is located in North Myrtle Beach it’s 3 parking lots away from the entrance to our condo so it makes it very convenient if you don’t want to drive out in the main road because of alcohol abuse.
I had chicken wings which were very good and the waitress was kind enough to give me more celery.
My DH had fried chicken sandwich with french fries and he enjoyed it.
The only drawback I have with this place was the atmosphere. It is more like a place l would bring kids with bright lights like Ruby Tuesdays & Applebee’s. It was good but not what we were looking for.

We went in here with the wrong expectations but still left pleased. It’s like fast food in a sit down atmosphere. Cash only.
The burgers are solid and tasty for the price, the fries were good, and it was nice to to have to have a beer with the burger. It’s fast paced and fun inside.
That said, they are served on small Styrofoam plates and they like to move the tables, no relaxing here. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
Come 30 minutes before major meal times and the wait is max 10 minutes.

Wow what a great bargain and great food. We had the cheeseburger (hubby myself and our 13 yo son) all cooked to perfection. Fries and rings so good. Service was a little slow but they were super busy. $ 1.00 draft beer can’t go wrong. Such a fun place and what a deal!
Went back two days later and got the golden wings. These were amazing!
