Denny’s

Stopped by this joint driving through with my in-​laws, they came here often whenever they made a road trip from Az through Ca. Claimed it was usually pretty good.
Tonight must have not been their night. I ordered the Alaska Salmon with a side of broccoli and a side of corn. When my order came out, the broccoli was way too overcooked, it looked like it’s been in the steamer or microwaved too long and had brown burn spots. I waited for the server (who I later found out was the floor manager) to come back to check on us. I asked if they could try again with the broccoli she looks at it and said, ‘Why? What’s wrong with it?‘
I said, ‘Really…would you eat this?’ she said she’d bring me a new side…13 minutes went by and I do ally got a second side of broccoli… this time around they looked better, but when I took a bite, they were still overcooked, limp and soggy… at least they weren’t mushy I guess.
When we first arrived, there were 2 other tables being served, as our meal progressed it got busier… Come to find out the reason our server was the manager was because there was only 1 server to the entire restaurant, poor guy…
But it would have been nice to have gotten some sort of heads up that our ‘server’ was leaving the floor. my father in law was hoping to get a second cup of coffee before we left and waited an additional 7 minutes before he finally called out ‘Hey, can I get some more coffee here !?’ granted, a bit rude of him, and he did apologize to the male server (the one stuck to take care of 5 other tables at this point… all by himself.)
I’m sure there was a call out and that’s why the manager had to help serve, but don’t only decide to be a server when it’s slow, he could have used your help when he had 5+ tables. According to my in-​laws, she wasn’t the manager the last few times they came, this bring first visit, left a pretty sour taste on my mouth, I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon…

I have been to many Denny’s in many cities and I will have to say that this visit must have been the best so far! When my family and I walked in we were immediately greeted and lead to a very comfortable booth (lots of elbow room for a family of four… With teenagers). The bathroom was very clean and attractive. In fact the whole place was was clean and well put together. I love the fact that this Denny’s didn’t have the gross grimy carpet… Instead it had dark wood like floorings and new updated furniture.
The food was great and the service was probably my favorite part of the visit. Cherylin was amazing!!! She was so attentive and really made us feel as if we were at her house for dinner. She never forgot anything that we asked for and made my kids really interact during dinner instead of wanting to stare at their phones the time. I also loved the fact that she interacted like this with everyone… Including all the other staff. I made sure to ask what evenings Cherylin worked because those will be the days I visit from now on… So if you plan on eating at this particular Denny’s then I would suggest going on a Friday or Monday evening… Be sure to ask to be seated in Cherylin’s section to experience your visit to the fullest!

The service was awesome. thank you Marisol and Kendrick. we will go back. it was a busy night because we came from a dance recital. Our party was 16. All the other tables were busy also. They did a good job even though we had to wait a bit but it was not long. It is a family friendly restaurant for small kids.

We were seated promptly as was our order taken. There was only one waitress to take orders, deliver food, and attend the cash register. We waited and waited for our food. We could see it under the heat lamp for at least 15 min. When it was finally delivered it was luke warm and not eatable. A poor experience!

Atmosphere was great but server made a joke about extra mushrooms when my boyfriend said he was allergic so he was uncomfortable and couldn’t even finish his meal. My hotcakes were extremely dry. My coffee was cold. There were only two packets of sugar available on the table for us and no silverware was given appropriately. Never going back there again.

They got everything wrong on our order. Asked for cups of soup and got bowls. Long wait and only 2 other parties there. Requested no mushrooms and they were there. Asked for no tomato nor onions on my chicken and they were there. My party was waiting for desert and they actually forgot. Took only 8 dollars off of the check but at least something. Giving them 2 stars because they were nice and once food received, it was decent. They just remodeled and need to get it together.

First of all I want to say that Robert & Fredrick are amazing. Me and my husband stopped by around 1am a few days ago and they’re service was exceptional. I was bummed out because when I ordered my pasta they didn’t have parmesan cheese to go with it. They apologized. My husband ordered the grand slam (I believe) and he asked if it included hash-​brown and Fredrick said no. But for the inconvenience of not having the Parmesan cheese they went ahead and made him a bach of hash browns. That right there, is amazing management skills and customer service. He recovered the situation very well. I hope if upper management see’s this those 2 get a raise because they make that Denny’s a very nice experience. As for the morning crew. We have gone for breakfast a few times and I must say that the morning people lack customer service a lot. I read another review about a manager speaking to an employee in Spanish. I support that 100% I witnessed the exact same thing. There is a manager in his 40’s Mexican obviously with black/​grey hair who was speak full on Spanish having a conversation with their only server at the time. This caused the 5 tables around us to be abandoned for a good 5 – 10 mins without asking if we need anything. We wanted the check so we can leave and when we went to the counter the continued their conversation. Luckily I understand Spanish. But I’m not saying it’s bad to speak another language BUT don’t have a private conversation in front of customer. Those who don’t know the language could think they’re talking about them.

Went to Dennys for the first time after it closed then reopened after a remodel
We got a free offer so we thought we give it a go again
Last time I was there my husband was short changed.q.
We went in was seated then waited for a server as 5 servers huddled behind the counter laughing chatting ignoring the customers
At last one came wanted our order without asking what we’d like to drink
Not a good start
The food was ok as always it’s Dennys but won’t rush back because of the service
The server dis not give me a chance to add anything at extra cost

Nice updated location but NO FREE WIFI?!? This is the only Denny’s I’ve ever been to that doesn’t have free wifi.

Gross! Execution of every item of food is terrible. Nobody on staff has been trained properly or seem to know anything about the menu. New face on the same crappy restaurant chain

Very crowded today and problems with the air which did get resolved. Happy servers and our. Server was Robert it wss very clear that he had 5 star training. Denny’s is lucky to have him! Good job dealing with the challlenges this morning everyone

Went to Dennys about 11 pm. 1÷29÷16. Was welcomed and told to sit anywhere.
Ordered a Salad and Pot Roast.
Salad came first about 5 minutes before Meal. Not good.
Ate salad quickly so my Pot Roast would still be hot/​warm.
I then went to check out. The Manager kept speaking to my server in Spanish. Which I feel is not needed or respectful.
If a employee can speak another language I definitely think they should use that to help a guest. This was not the case.
I will contact Denny’s Corporate and file a complaint.
I will update this review.

In town traveling to Washington with a cat and a dog. Stayed at the motel 6 next door and was able to order some food to go easily.
I got a burger with their seasoned fries. It was pretty good and I also good a pretty good milkshake. I plan on going back for breakfast, as it is one of the only things around.
Only thing I didn’t like, it was $ 17 for a burger fries and milk shake… A little over priced.

Very clean and newer Denny’s. Great service and was fast, everything was cooked to order and very tasty. Perfect stop to get us back on the road.

Horrible service… waitress Alma D gave me the cheese to my salad in a bag on the side… forgot items I oredered and had to hunt her down for them. Didn’t even have what I ordered. Told manager off issues and he didn’t care

3^rd time here since new opening. Gets worse every time. Don’t think I’ll cone back for a 4^th meal after the last 2. Today was the worst. Server has no clue, eggs were cold, sausage gross, fries greasy :(I’m over it.

Great customer service. Especially our waitress Savannah, she’s the bomb! Very clean, layout of the restaurant looks very organized & nice!

Staff very friendly. This location opened back up 1 or 2 weeks ago glad they did. Very clean.

Leonel took awesome care of us today. Great service and it was super packed.
This Denny’s just opened I hope it stays this way.

Excellent food and service. Staff is super friendly and food was fast and tasted great. I love the new look. This will now be my favorite Denny’s.
