One of the best places at the Jersey shore. Try to find a place that does food like this. Get the meatballs, muscles, scallops, asparagus, hummus… the service is really really top notch… everyone is outing water and clearing plates. Kudos… ask for Lauren

Went to dinner last night for restruaunt week. Food was very good but portions weren’t. They were so small big turnoff when you leave a place hungry. Dessert was a sliver and I mean the smallest sliver of key lime pie. Although it was good. Service was average,

Food was good, service was not so great. Its is a shame we were there on a slow night and the bartender was just not paying attention to the the 5 people at bar.

Never been here before but had fantastic service, our waitress was friendly and very attentive, the outdoor patio was quite comfortable and even had live music. Overall a great dinner and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend. P. s. They have gluten free options!

Very disappointing. We went to the Establishment for happy hour based on the reviews and the interesting menu. We ordered one of each happy hour special app and not one was decent. Most were greasy and lacking in flavor. Skip this place and go to the North End right next door.

Over the summer, a few friends and I decided to go out to a nice dinner, while staying in Wildwood. Our neighbors gave us a few suggestions, one of them being, «don’t go to The Establishment». We thought the menu looked amazing so we ignored their suggestions and went anyway. We were NOT in the least bit disappointed. We all had amazing drinks and an amazing meal. I had the«Tommorow’s Gonna Hurt»(basically a margarita), and it was one of the best margaritas I have ever had… legit ingredients, no sour-mix… Awesome! We shared some appetizers and by far everyone’s favorite was the Burnt Cardamom Carrots with runner up being the Warm Brussel Sprout + Kale Caesar and the meatballs! Who am I kidding, it was all amazing. I had a fish special(though I can’t remember the details now), it was slightly dry, but after all of the other delicious flavors, awesome service from our waiter, and beautiful/intimate dining room; I cannot complain. After spending time in Wildwood every summer for my entire life, I am blown away by The Establishment. I wish I had found it sooner. They are holding true to their claim of «Farm to Fork», I wish more restaurants at the Jersey Shore could follow suit!

My boyfriend and I tried The Establishment because we were interested in the restaurant week menu(during the last week of August 2015). We ended up going on a Monday, which is their Martini Monday — and I love a good martini. They also had $ 1 oysters as their Monday special. We both actually skipped the restaurant week menu, because they had so many other good choices on the regular menu. We split a dozen oysters, which were delicious. My boyfriend had the pork meatballs and they were as good as every other review says they are. I had the grilled swordfish over rice with grilled eggplant. It was almost two weeks ago and I am still thinking about this meal! We will definitely be returning!

I love roasted carrots, and make them at home often, and with everyone raving about the burnt cardamom carrots small plate, starting with that was a no brainer. The carrots disappeared quickly, with my wife and I fighting over the last few bites. Carrots, bacon, goat cheese, onion, arugula. Delicious. My crab cake entrée was a study in freshness, execution, and simplicity. The crab cakes were all crab, with little filler, and were full of flavor. The smashed red potatoes(still mostly whole, not mashed, just flattened a bit) were tender with crispy bits of caramelized potato and skin. The dish was topped with arugula, lightly dressed with lemon and olive oil. My wife raved about her Rigatoni Mezze. She said it was the best thing she’d eaten all week – a week full of good restaurant meals. The portions were just right in my opinion, and the three dishes left us completely full. The price was reasonable too, our bill with one app, two entrees, one child’s entrée, and two drinks came to only $ 86 before tip. Considering the quality of the food, that’s a steal.

Simply amazing. Fresh, inventive, and reasonable. Unilocaled this place before we got down to Wildwood. Sold on the menu, description and reviews we made reservations for 6. I would like to try everything on their menu. We opted for the burnt Cardamom carrots(a must, even if you don’t fancy cooked carrots. Also the fresh corn salad was exactly that FRESH. I must make this at home although the cilantro vinaigrette may be a chAllenge to get right. Next up. Calamari was nice light breading and crispy. Hard to do both and. Generous Helping. Pork Meatballs with tomato jam were kickin. We were stuffed but order key lime pie to travel. Need to go back to try other items on the menu. For you foodies this is s farm to table treasure in Wildwood. Last but certainly not least Alabama bound Maddy was our wait person and she was as excited about the place as we were. She provided suggestions and really rounded out the whole dining experience. Do not miss this place

My boyfriend and I had dinner here in mid-July while on vacation from Boston. After hearing that it was farm to table, we decided to give it a try, as it’s the first of its kind that we’d come across in the area. The ambiance was perfect — upscale and hip but still friendly and unpretentious. The Craft Cocktail list was creative — I had the«What’s my Name Again», an interesting(and delicious) twist on a margarita that incorporated jalapeño and watermelon! Our server, Katie, was outstanding. She went out of her way to explain how the farm to fork concept impacts menu offerings and then highlighted the local ingredients that were available at that time. She was super helpful in deciding what to order and each dish we chose exceeded our expectations… crab toast, smoked drumsticks and pan-seared scallops were all out of this world. The crab cakes were the absolute best we’d had after ordering the dish at multiple restaurants throughout the week. We visit Wildwood each summer and will definitely make The Establishment a staple in our evenings out!

The service was excellent. The food was fabulous. We had the carrot app and it was unexpectedly delicious. My husband had the calamari which we all finished and couldn’t stop eating. My son had the pork meatball and was so good. The chicken dish was excellent and reminded me of Tony’s chicken from Tony Di Nopoli’s in NYC. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We were too full for dessert but the table next to us raved about the desserts. This place will be a must visit for our vacation next year!

Our third year in Wildwood finally a restaurant we can come back too!!! Did not think a restaurant of this caliber existed in this area! A+ on service — Hillary was amazing!!! A+ on quality of food! Flavorful, fresh, and innovative. Our family of four shared a few mixed plates, nothing disappointing. We recommend the Calamari, Spicy Pork Meatballs, and Panko crusted Chicken. In fact, there’s nothing we would not recommend!!! Headed back there again tonight!!! — Bald foodie

Such a great addition to the wildwoods. The happy hour food specials are amazing considering the price. And the bartenders are so unbelievably nice. Have not dined in the dining room but the outdoor bar area is my go-to. And who doesn’t want to watch the shenanigans at Keenan’s from afar while sipping on a martini?

There was a group of 5 of us who ate here for dinner, and It is by far one of the best meals I have had in years! The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. Not too loud, not too boring — really a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent! The concept — farm to table — made the food that much better! No shrimp coming from Thailand. No Corn made in a factory. No bread filled with junk ingredients — everything is locally caught, crafted, grown or made. Does it get any better? The dinner was started by DELICIOUS cocktails. Their bar tender really put together some excellent drinks. We kept sipping and passing, because everyone wanted to try everything. They were unique without being over the top, and all for a decent price point. Then they brought out individual bread plates with bread already on them, and a communal bowl of warm lovely olive oil with roasted garlic in it — perfect for dipping and spreading. As a table, we decided to split a lot of the smaller plates because they all sounded so good adn we wanted to try as many as possible, so we ordered the following: Fried Calamari — in the top 5 calamaris i’ve ever had — and I have a high standard. It was crispy, tender, perfectly seasoned and came with a very mildly spicy cold pepper relish which was so amazing, and then bigger chunks of charred peppers which were the perfect addition! Sweet, salty, crunchy, chewy, hot, cold… I cannot wait to order it again. It was really memorable and delicious. Crab meat and whipped ricotta on toast — once again — DELICIOUSLYAMAZING!!! This had charred grape tomatoes on top, and the whole dish together was absolutely perfect. Burnt Cardamom Carrots — so unique and really really delicious — goat cheese, bacon, roasted onion, arugula… it was so good we were all grabbing for the last carrot. I will not forget this dish adn already want to duplicate it at home Grilled Shrimp — creamed corn, charred zucchini, chili oil, herb pistou — also really good, but this one didn’t pop out at me too much. Roasted Corn Salad — DELICIOUS! So fresh, light and enjoyable — I couldn’t wait to get more! grape, tomato, red onion, feta, arugula, cilantro vinaigrette We got the special, which was bruschetta with blue cheese which was mind blowing — you will not regret getting this one. All of the dishes were decent sized, priced right, looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Dessert was also incredible — we split the peach cobbler with salted caramel — INSANE!!! with ice cream on top! The corn panna cotta was so unique, i had to try it and the texture of the dish brought it to one of the top I’ve ever had. It was so good and silky with a very slight corn flavor. The key lime pie with the graham cracker crust was So tart adn perfect as well. so so happy with everything. Our server, Whitney, was a doll. So friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. All in all, we had a memorable and DELICIOUS dinner and can’t wait to go back!

Went here on an unassuming Friday in July… their menu caught my eye and I was intrigued in hopes that they could actually pull it off. Guess what? They did. Above and beyond expectations-truly a must visit for all the foodies out there. WELLWORTH the trek from Cape May and Avalon. The attentive and informative bartender Aaron, is an assist to the front end of the house. The chef/owner is as creative with the organic and farm to table philosophy as one would expect to find in Center City Philadelphia. From the beginning the drink offerings were not only unique but were in no way watered down. My companions and I started with«Violet Beauregard». Enough said. The food menu is simplified by small medium and large plates. We had several from each. The cardamom carrots and pork meatballs are a MUST! Go and relax in an enjoyable atmosphere where your palette will be well rewarded.

We started with cocktails: Donkey Lips(gin, barrows ginger, lime, rosemary syrup), Bourbon Smash both so good! and assorted micro brews. We ordered a bunch of things to share: Grilled corn with chimichurri butter Burnt cardamom carrots — freaking unbelievable — I will be dreaming about them Roasted corn salad — feta, arugula, cilantro vinaigrette Spicy Pork Meatballs — sharp provolone, gonnochi, baby bok choy,(I was like, what?), spicy tomato jam Crispy Calamari The food was so good we sat and talk about it, I mean when do you ever stop, put your fork down and do that? You need to stop in and experience this for your self — a true hidden gem.

Have to say, just from the appetizers, we knew that the Chef, Andrew, is an exceptional restaurant owner/chef. The meatball and carrot apps, were outstanding. Those are a must order. The duck was excellent. Not greasy nor dry. Perfect. The Establishment is by far a top 10 restaurant in Cape May County. Put this place on ur go to list for any occasion. Happy hour was fantastic as well. Great specials.

Located in a loud neighborhood, Establishment is an exception and exceptional. We had the roasted beets, which were lovely, the Manhattan clam chowder was the finest my mom has ever tasted, the mussels were quality with a sauce that I finished with our table bread, and the squid & torn scallops were fantastic and tender. Ingredients were key to these menus amazing taste. Left feeling very contented, portions were perfect.
