What you see is what you get. Their tacos, burritos, and the basics are pretty consistent. So far it’s lived up to its standards. If I ever get hungry late at night or have the drunk munchies(there is a bar in the same plaza) this place definitely hits the spot!

I am appalled and I wish I had said something, but I was hungry and just wanted to get my food and go. And then I ended up not eating it. What a waste. Let me backtrack: After I ordered and gave the cashier my money, she went to the back, pulled out some tortillas, placed them on the grill, licked her fingers and didn’t wash her hands!!! Then a guy came out(not sure where he came from) and rinsed only his finger tips(no soap!), then didn’t dry his hands and touched my tortillas with his wet hands. Never going back, unless I want a good round of food poisoning. Uggghhh By the way, BOTH were sneezing on top of that! I’m sorry, but if this doesn’t violate health/food codes, I don’t know what does.

This place closes late and the enchiladas are great. The prices are kinda pricey but they save the night when the only things that are open are McDonald’s, Jack, and Denny’s. The carne asada quesadilla isn’t the best, I have yet to try other things on the menu~

I love the food but if you say you’re closing at 12 close at 12 and not 11:40. That’s my only gripe!

TACOTESTS are always how I judge a Mexican fast food restaurant. If the simplest menu item isn’t on point, how can anything else be worth trying? I was disappointed to find that these tacos didn’t live up to my expectations. I was looking forward to having a go-to taco spot after midnight on weekends, but the tacos here were bad. We tried asada and pastor and were grossed out by both. The pastor meat was SUPERGREASY. The grease even seeped through the folds of the aluminum foil, through the brown paper bag, and unfortunately through my leggings when I held the bag in lap as my fiancé drove us home. The carne asada had so much fat! We were almost able to make a whole new taco from only the fat we pulled off from 4 tacos. I can’t speak about the food on their menu but the poor quality of their tacos will keep us from going back to try the rest.

It’s your typical Mexican food place. You go there, get some tacos, Torta, horchata, anything you want there and it is prepared estilo Mexicano. I enjoy coming here especially because it is affordable and fills me up. Even my OG Mexican parents from Michoacan love this place. I’m greeted by a lady who reminds me of a Tia and she may seem«rude», but she is actually a sweetheart and care about the customers. The best part about this pace is the super fries and horchata. I can’t find good places that sell delicious horchata and here it is. It is not too sweet or too bland, it is just right. And the super fries, fills me up and is delicious. I highly recommend if you’re craving some legit Mexican food !

A great pace if you need a quick fix of Mex-Food. They serve take-out faster than a gopher in a dust bowl. Nothing more to say.

My first visit and i REALLY wanted to give a 5 star rating but settling for a 3 star for certain circumstances; pre note, I would definitely return! came in on a friday around 12 midnight after a night out, I ordered 4 tacos al pastor and 1 chicken quesadilla with 2 cokes the cashier, who I presume to be the owner, said she had to check with the al pastor and was super honest saying what was left was not good, too greasy and wouldn’t be tasty! That instantly jumped me to wanting to give a 5 star review, how many times will someone be totally honest about the condition of the food?! that was a great start so then i asked for asada tacos which she checked and said it was looking good! the total was something like $ 17 and change so I gave $ 20 for the tip I sat down to wait, and one other person came in with a phone order and got her food — no biggie but then, another couple and 2 more people came in, ordered, and received their food before I did. .. I sat for a good 15 minutes before my food was ready which isn’t THAT long, but considering a few people came in 5 minutes after me, ordered, and received their food first was a bit odd. any who, got my food, came home, started digging in… the quesadilla was absolutely amazing! I don’t know what the hell they did to this thing but it was so juicy and flavorful with the chicken, so much good cheese, some veggies, literally the simplest yet tastes quesadilla ever! then I tried the tacos. .. i asked for no chili but everything else which was just cilantro and onions. . and boy were there onions! felt like half an onion chopped on top of these tacos and the flavor was just not that great. .. the tacos were doubled tortillaed like usual, but thats also usually because of all the meat and juiciness to soak it up and hold it together…the tortillas were dry almost like they were just steamed and not grilled or warmed nicely, just too many onions like someone spilled a cup on my tacos, and the meat, had some mildly good flavor but overall wasn’t impressed; the meat wasn’t juicy either and just did not stand out to me so my 5 stars would have been for the honest/kind service and quesadilla, but then the drop comes from the tacos and awkward wait time… id definitely come back and try this place again maybe at a different time for a better experience?

This is a decent little Mexican restaurant located inside this strip mall. Its nothing fancy on the inside so dinning in can be very casual. We ordered our food to go. Tried their Tacos. Asada, Al pastor and something else. They ended up tasting very mediocre and nothing too memorable. Not sure if it was missing flavor or spice or what but I ended up needing to pour hot sauce on the tacos to try to do something, anything to make it taste better.

Down to earth food and happy people behind the counter willing to help. My favorite has to be the ceviche tostadas with fried on the spot tortillas.

I give this a 3 not as good as I thought it would be. It is just your average Mexican restaurant nothing special. The only good thing is they are opened late so it’s another option rather than going to Taco Bell or Del Taco. Overall I would come back for a late night when I’m hungry.

Came here with a few buddies and, for real this is some serious Mexican food, without all the drawbacks of the traditional good Mexican food spots… They take all forms of payment(not just cash like nachos up the street) the dining area is large, you can come with lots of friends and all sit, and they are open late. Great spot, really good food!

Seriously, I’ve been coming here for months and I haven’t written a review?! OMG… what’s wrong with me?!(Don’t answer that! LOL) I come here when I have a craving for Super Fries… AKA carne asada fries. Ya know?! The one that you could only get in San Diego up until several years ago. LOL Well… anyways…I never get the same meat. Sometimes I get carne asada or pastor(marinated beef). I really need to bring myself to try their carnitas, but I am a carnivore who loves red meat. Wait… pork is the other white meat, right!!! LOL Anyways, their Super Fries is only $ 6! Yes, french fries, beans, meat, onions, cheese, guacamole, and sour cream is ONLY $ 6! I still have not found it that cheap and I’ve gone to several places in the SFV already. Funny that I’ve never eaten inside the restaurant. I always order in and then get my food to go. No particular reason. I just prefer to make my ooh and aah sounds at home and then lick the box. LOL I have no shame! A portion is good to share, especially if you’re having something else of theirs. I’ve also had their carne asada wet burrito. It’s $ 6.50! It’s pretty fat and worth every penny. The plate also comes with chips on the side, guacamole, pico de gallo, and sour cream. I can feed myself and 2 other people with those two items alone. Thank God they accept credit card, but you gotta spend more than $ 10 or they will charge a fee. Of course, in my case… I’m happy to spend more than that. LOL This place can get pretty busy so be patient if you see a line at the door, while walking up to the place. I think you can call in your order too, but I haven’t tried because I’m never in hurry when I come here. They have fresh condiments right next to the register too. Fill up on your hot sauces and pico de gallo. Love their stuff on my food. Yummy… salsa verde and pico! This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall kinda place(those are really the best kind of places!) located in a strip mall area. There is plenty of parking in the area too. I love that they close late too… midnight! Mmm… I want some Super Fries now! LOL

This is an excellent hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint. The food is fast, hot, relatively cheap, and tastes great — with a little bit of kick from various chili peppers. The taco and burrito combo — chicken is just $ 7.25. The décor is badly lacking, and there’s just a smattering of kitsch on the walls, but frankly, you’re not going there for the ambiance. The service is also good. On top of that, it’s open until 12 midnight(and 1 am on Friday night).

They’re super fries are like their version of carne asada fries! $ 6 is a pretty good deal for these. The fries are crispy and they give lots of meat. I kind of wish the cheese was more melted, and also had guacamole. It was filling. Also the tacos are pretty good sizes and filled with meat! Their drinks are also really well priced the large is only like 2.50 but it’s a huge cup! The only reason I’m not giving it the best rating is simply because of the restroom area. I was encountered by a small roach that came from the back of the toilet. Also their sink doesn’t have piping so it just drains into a bucket underneath the sink. The food was well priced and they gave plenty of meat per serving, I just wished they maintain the restaurant a little more.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants I have eaten at. I ordered a carne asada burrito and a horchata. When I first walked in I first noticed a novela playing on a TV they had inside. I was greeting by the lady behind the counter and with a genuine smile. The lady was nice enough to bring my food to my table, which was a nice gesture.
The place is kept really clean and I noticed that the workers clean the tables right after a customer leaves, so the next person can have a clean place to eat. When I first walked in the place smelled like fresh Mexican food. I also heard the radio on playing Spanish music. This restaurant has a good happy atmosphere. The customer service is really great. The best part of this place is of course the tasty food. The meat inside my burrito was cooked perfectly for me. There are some places that have the meat overcooked, but this place got it cooked just right. The salsa they offer is spicy, but not too spicy that it makes my mouth burns. The horchata is here is really good, while other places have too much cinnamon and not enough sugar. This Mexican is a great place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The workers have a great attitude and I didn’t have to wait long for my food to arrive. I enjoyed eating my food on comfortable chairs in a peaceful environment. This place has good food and is affortable.

I ordered super fries($ 6) and the beef burrito and taco combination($ 7.25); the total came around $ 14.50. The super fries has onions, guacamole, pinto beans, meat, cheese, and sour cream. When I first opened the lid, the fries looked soooo good, but it was only the appearance that fooled me. The fries arn’t crispy and fresh, they taste bland and dry. The meat is also dry and very salty, which was disappointing. The portion of meat and cheese they give you is pretty big compared to other restaurants, so that’s a plus. Will I be buying this again, probably not. I’ve had better fries, and this is not worth 6 bucks. All combinations come with rice, beans, and salad. For the combination, taco was very tasty, and so was the burrito. There were 6 chips in beans, and the beans were doused in salt; not a fan. The rice and salad was nothing special, and I didn’t take more than two bites of each. For a Mexican restaurant, the flavors weren’t there. The only seasoning I tasted was salt. But because the burrito and taco was good and the fries were edible I gave it a 3. Customer Service: Only ONE register and the lady felt rushed, even though there weren’t any customers behind me.(It could have been the fact that the students were coming in soon.) I got my food to-go and the service was very fast! I got my food within 5 mins, which was great! TIP: Do not go around 3 pm!!! There’s a school a block away and the traffic was horrendous!

Awesome customer service. There was a wonderful Mexican lady at the counter/register who helped me pick the super fries. She was very polite and attentive. She made great recommendations and had small talk with me. She made me feel like I was at home. The food was made timely and it was delicious. Try the super fries!

I’ve haven’t been here in over 6 years! I decided to give it another try and it’s the same – delicious and affordable! I recommend this place to my friends all the time whenever they’re in the west end of the valley. I would still recommend.
