After having a busy day and not having time to cook I decided to get something quick and local I decided to go to this burger place once I arrived I noticed that the place was really clean and the employees seem very friendly I ordered a bacon cheeseburger for myself some zucchini for the husband chili cheese fries and a junior burger special for my boys I was surprised and happy that they offer junior burgers since most hamburger places don’t have them and I was always stuck buying my boys ages (4 & 6) regular size burgers that they wouldn’t even finish. Cheese burger was delicious chili cheese fries were the best I’ve had since my old burger place closed down and other ones just didn’t taste right zucchini was ok but the ranch was good I would definitely recommend this place for a good hamburger.
Pro: good food for your money
Con: no drive thru but it’s okay since the food is really good and place is nice and clean

I placed a telephone order for a bacon burger combo, avocado BLT and fried zucchini. The man over the phone said it would be about 10mins.
I got there on time and my order was ready for pick up. I went home and found my fried zucchini looking like someone just mushed it up. The bottom porting of the white paper take out bag was grease filled. If I had known the zucchini looked like that, I would have requested for a refund.
This place is usually pretty good at presentation as evidenced by my previous photos but this zucchini business is out right ridiculous. Never get the fried zucchini here, unless you like grease-​filled, non coated zucchinis.

Yup! Chili cheese fries are great. Side of ranch and a Coke. Perfect! The décor is not great but it does the trick for street burger food. If you like your cheese melted then these are for you.

I won’t lie. I was drawn to this place based on the pictures alone. There are a Ba-​ga-​Zillion little hamburger/​pastrami/​breakfast joints around, so how do you pick one to try? Why not try them all?! I might make this a goal… And just limit it to a certain city or something. I’ll probably forget I even typed this.
Yeah, so Burger Basket! They have a special menu with crazy good pricing. My friend ordered the pastrami with salad and French fries/​onion rings. His whole plate was filled. I mean FILLED. I was amazed by the portions. I on the other hand went small and got a smaller burger combo but upgraded the fries to the chili cheese version. I liked that they used shredded cheese, but the chili was pretty standard issue.
It satisfied my craving and was fast since we only had an hour for lunch. A-​OK in my book!

When I’m craving a burger this is where I come to eat one… I love their fries … But if you are gonna have breakfast I recommend trying the chili cheese omelet… It is bomb… This is the place to eat and talk with close friends or with family.
Oh and since today was national hamburger day… I had to stop by earlier. :)

I don’t like burgers but if you in the area stop by an try a burger they are good here.

I love the food here. Bread was toasted to perfection. I asked for med cook meat and they did just that. The breakfast is also a top choice in the hood!

I came here because of the reviews. I ordered the cheeseburger which is the most recommended and reviewed item.
It did not live up to the reviews and left a greasy film in my mouth that stayed for two hours in spite of guzzling 24 ounces of bottled water.
A few of the fries had a fishy taste.
Will not return.
So far Fronk’s is number one in my quest to find the best cheeseburger.

Not bad for the fair price. You’ll get charbroiled burgers, chili fries or fried chicken dinners for less than $ 10. It’s a great fast food spot. I love their breakfast and the listed above. It’s not a complicated spot so don’t expect much from the sitting experience.

Delicious charbroiled cheeseburgers with thick, crispy bacon and shredded lettuce. A platter of nongreasy, lightly battered onion rings. A platter of zucchini spears freshly prepared in the same light batter, with a cup of thick, cold Ranch dressing on the side. Crushed ice in the drinks instead of cubes. A bun that does not disintegrate as you are maneuvering through your Cheeseburger of the Old School Gods.
I live in San Diego and when I am in LA, this place is a Must Stop for my family. It looks like nothing great on the outside, but you are a kook if you don’t come in and try it out. I don’t know what the haters are talking about with their reviews. I have never had anything but great food perfectly prepared here, and we have been coming for many years. It’s an old school burger joint that puts fast food burgers to shame.

The food was excellent
Their breakfast was great and since I’m a huge breakfast fan I liked that they serve it all day

It wasn’t too expensive and for the price they give you a lot of food
The service was great and the place was clean it wasn’t busy and I would definitely go there again

I’ve been coming here for years and I have never once had a bad experience. Tams or Douglas do not even come to close this food.

Very greasy, typical tasting burger. nothing to rave about. like a denny’s burger…

I ordered breakfast for dinner and usually that’s great! Umm NOT the case here! The worst, dirty, grease tasting hashbrowns I’ve ever tasted! Eggs were not even close to Over Easy, toast was soggy and the bacon was ok.
My sister ordered the steak sandwich dinner. Yhe bread was hard, the steak was like jerky, but the ranch on the salad was good, yay!
My Buddy ordered the bacon burger combo and let’s just say we threw it away due to soggy bread!

This girl got my order wrong and when I came back from home to get what I wanted she told the cook to smash my burger I was piss. Dang fat girl

I’m not from the area. This place is good if your looking for tasty burger. Just make sure you ask for a large drink. Fries were pretty good too.

This place is pretty damn amazing, it’s super old school. If you want a good burger, and good fries this is the place to go! I come here all the time and I always either get the burger, patty melt or the bacon burger, they are all good! I would give it five stars if I didn’t have too round up my order and get charged a free for not using cash.

Here is why I only gave it 4 stars …
I didn’t like that they make round up your purchase amount when you use your ATM card. My total was $ 18.46 and I was told they had to charge my card $ 20.00 plus the 75 cents ATM fee. They gave me back the difference. But I didn’t understand why it had to done that why. Seems fishy.

Great food, I LOVE their zucchinis! Their combo prices are good. Pretty clean place but as far as the interior/​walls they need a paint job. Oh and if you are asking for the restroom key be prepared to reach and to climb over the high chairs LOL
Don’t use your AMT card, she will tell you the charge after she swipes it.

Don’t use your debit or credit card! They charge a .75 fee… AND… They force you to round up your purchase to the next $ 10 amount. So if your order is 15.25, you have to be charges $ 20 and they give you 4.75 change. This is a crack smoking scam!
I have not gotten my food yet, but there’s no way it will be good enough for me to come back. Adiós burger basket.
