Lowe’s

I wasn’t planning on going to this store, but figured it was worth a try because it’s new. It turned out to be a complete waste of time. I took my elderly grandmother to search for a stove and refrigerator. We wandered around the department for 20 mins without a single person attempting to help us. When I finally stopped someone she printed an item in question from the computer but refused to help further claiming she was helping someone else. With no other associates around we left and went to Best Buy where Darrick spent about 45 minutes helping us figure out what we needed and what was in our price range. Then for the heck of it, we went to Home Depot. We didn’t spend a lot of time there, but in that short time 3 people asked if we needed help. Lesson learned.

Purchased window treatments. Sales associate was excellent. Contracted with them to do the measurements of the windows. Was scheduled for measuring between 10 and 12 on a Saturday. 11 o’clock i called to confirm they would show up. Received a call back they were running late. We made an appointment for 12:30, was which they said was perfect. No other communication and they showed up almost 2:30. Now another Saturday with a 10:00 appointment and they say by 12:00. I did not have this problem when i had experience with home depot. And the store manager does not want to come to the phon. As you can probably tell, I do not recommend them!

This was my first time going and Went there to look at bathroom vanity tops this morning and not a single person was available to help me. The one woman in that area at the time was helping someone else and when I asked her for help she said she’s busy— she didn’t even try to get someone else to help me.
I went to Home Depot right after and had 3 different sales associates offer to help me and I got what I needed.
Horrible experience at Lowes in Norwalk. Disappointed. Never going back!

Nice clean store. Love the display and prices are great so far. Love that they have a kids club. After making a profile online and filling out a wavior you can attend their free building club on some Saturdays. Here your child will receive a complementary smock and goggles as well as earning badges that you can iron on. They supply you with the entire kit and you may borrow a sanitized hammer. Must return do to safety reasons after the class.

The store us really clean. When I went to the cashier she ignored me for about 15 seconds while she put on chap stick. Parking was wide open which is a major plus compared to Home Depot.

Really nice looking store but that’s about it. Waited 45 min in the kitchen cabinet section only to be told by several workers that help was on the way then to be told that the one person that could help me went on lunch worst customer service experience I have ever had in an home improvement store Home Depot it is.

I was on my way to Home Depot, when we passed this brand new Lowes. It seemed convenient so we decided to pull in, and buy some rigging supplies (a swivel, u-​bolts, nothing major). While I don’t like being accosted at the front door, this was the exact opposite. We were standing by the entrance, trying to figure out where the materials were, and not one person came over and asked if we needed help finding anything.
We eventually found what we needed, and left.
The next day, we needed another swivel, so decided to make the trip from Fairfield (where there’s a Home Depot 5 minutes from us), and go back to Lowes because of a particular one we had purchased the day before. We had our dog with us, and before entering the store, asked a very friendly gentleman, who works at Lowes if dogs were allowed in the store. He said, «sure, as long as they don’t bite,» laughing. We parked the car, and walked into the store, Gracie in tow (60 lb lab mix, calm, shy, quiet). We got through the front doors and a young employee, approached us, while putting her lip gloss on. She stated, «Hey. We don’t allow dogs!» Confused, my boyfriend stated «the guy out front said dogs were allowed,» trying to understand what was going on, also defending our actions, and letting her know we didn’t just barge in without asking first.
She replied, «well, a dog crapped on the floor earlier today, and we only allow service dogs now.»
Again, as we were turning around to leave, my boyfriend stated, «well, we were told otherwise. So I’m confused as to your policy.»
The sales girl replied, «no dogs in the store.»
Fine. You have a policy that doesn’t allow dogs. But the woman did not have to be so rude, especially when no one «greeted» us the day before, yet when they think you’re doing something wrong, suddenly they want to jump on top of you.
I didn’t appreciate her rudeness, so while walking out, I said «Home Depot allows dogs.» She then replied, «well that’s Home Depot!»
Needless to say, we won’t be going back to Lowes. It’s unfortunate, because my boyfriend is a contractor, and additionally, we personally each own homes that we are trying to restore. We spent over $ 82,000 last year in materials at Home Depot (not including appliances), and while having at least another selection at Lowes would have been great, this behavior from your staff was unnecessary and has turned us off to ever patronizing your store again.

I actually haven’t had any bad experiences here (unlike other home improvement stores in the area). Had keys made, and the guy working the counter was really nice. The sales rep in the appliance section was helpful and not at all pushy which is a big deal for me (I can’t go to furniture stores or car lots without wanting to tearing my hair out). I’m sorry the other user had what sounds like a really horrific experience. That’s unacceptable anywhere. However, in the interest of fair reviews, I have to say I’m quite pleased with the place so far. It’s not the greatest home improvement store I’ve ever been to. But it does a good job at what I need it for.

Store looks great. The staff is completely new so it takes them a bit to locate what you’re looking for. Everything I went to purchase was in stock. The parking lot is great. You’re sure to find a spot. They really fixed that crap intersection as well.
I’ll likely give it 5 stars and once the employees learn the layout.

Brand new store. I was their opening day, very helpful staff, since it was opening day they had staff brought in from other nearby stores, it was a treat to have help. Went back on Sunday to buy a table and tile for my kitchen floor, the price on line was different then in store, they did honor the online price, I opened a lowes card to save 10%, they only gave me 5%. They did correct this mistake and promised delivery on Thursday. I planned to write a positive review as the store was well set up and the staff, mostly from other nearby stores was great, however Thursday my delivery never arrived. I called And spoke to Todd, who promised me it was an error but the truck is loaded I am set for Friday AM delivery. Ok I lost a day sat home waiting. Friday No delivery. I called and spoke to Jesse, who apologized and promised to load the flatbed and have my order to me by Sat between 7AM and 8 AM, in time for my contractor to lay the floor. At 9 AM I call speak to an assistant manager who did not care, tells me if it was him he would also be mad, but he signed out the delever it is on its way, 15 minutes later I get a call from the driver he will be there in an hour, he has not left yet. Next Mike gets on the phone, he offers me a slight discount for my troubles, this does not pay the bill for the contractor who is sitting around waiting for the tile. Very disappointed, mostly with the dishonest management staff, the items are in stock and should have been delivered as promised.
