Wienerschnitzel

Never having been to a Weinershitzel before we decided to try it. It was late evening and wanted something quick. Big mistake.
We ordered an AB Chicago dog and a corn dog. 11−19−15 at 8:47pm. A few hours later, deathly ill, stomach pain and after a few hours passed of vomiting violently, it was time to take it seriously and get to the emergency room !!
Newbies to the area, we had to find a local hospital to get some help.(imagine this tragedy) After 4 hours in emergency, food poisoning was the diagnosis. YUCK!!! IV and morphine was given and a trip to the pharmacy $$$$$ and MISSED DAYS OF WORK — at a NEW JOB! Ultimately this missed day resulted in a release. Nice, right?!
I called that WS Location at least 20 times and no answer so we proceeded to write an email to corporate. Finally someone responded and told us they were sorry (nice guy, Andrew) but nothing has been done that was promised. We have incurred several expenses from a bad choice of local restaurants!
AVOID THIS FAST FOOD NIGHTMARE
Very unsanitary kitchen and messy employees.

Why did I get food poisoning for 3 days eating the chili dogs here? Wtf.
I’ve always liked weinersnitzels but I’m NEVER EVER eating here again.
This never happened to me eating the chili dogs and I’m disappointed in this place.

Cool fast food place! Food is always hot, people seem helpful and friendly!

Came for lunch for youtubers when the tall guy taking my order greeted me with a ridiculous saying and when I brought it up to is attention, he did not apologize but refused my business. Here the customer is a nobody. I guess they pick out their customers at this Wienerschnitzel.

My 2^nd coming here and my junkyard hotdog come out looking like this. The onions all burnt out. Smh I couldn’t even eat it all. Hella nasty and unhealthy.

There’s a guy named Joseph who takes the orders and he is always so nice and in a great mood even though it seems like he always gets the late shifts. So polite and welcoming, you almost forget you’re at a wienershnitzel lol. Employees like him deserve recognition for being professional and polite no matter how close it is to closing time or how late it is. Thank you, Joseph. Best customer service ever. And he never gets our order wrong! :)

The food is pretty good but it is super expensive. The only good time to go is Sunday because the chilli dogs are really cheap.

Ah, its Saturday! I found another location to enjoy my weekly treat. My Freezee Treat! This will be a short review, but you know anytime I check-​in here or similar locations, you know my day just got better at Wienerschnitzel in Norwalk.
I was on my way to Disneyland and with the help of Unilocal,I found a Weinerschnitzel on my route. Located not too far from the I-​5 Santa Ana Freeway, you’ll find the yellow and red pointy home of Weinerschnitzel on Imperial Blvd across the Wal-​Mart. When you see any of the old-​school Weinerschnitzels, that was and is tradition of the company. Its like many California companies who used arches and arrows to signify their company. This location had more customers than other locations that I have visited. I saw families enjoying hot dogs and the Family Combo Specials that Weinerschnitzel’s offered.
I was here for one reason. It was Saturday Freezee Day! For $ 1.99, you can enjoy a sweet, cold treat. Usually, I would order an M&M Freezee, but it was much more of a special day. So, I decided to change it up a bit. I decided to order a tongue twister order. Reese’s Freezee. Well, it wasn’t a tongue twister, but my brain decided to stop working for a couple seconds and I my speech temporarily halted. When my order was ready, the lady told me to enjoy my Freezee. I was surprised that she said that! Usually, its just handed to me, but she really me to enjoy it (That’s what she said… Literally!)
I didn’t get a hot dog, but I should have since a lot of people were driving in and actually enjoying eating at the tables. I was very shocked. Most of the time, its empty in the areas that I have visited, but I am happy that this is one of the busiest Weinerschnitzel’s in SoCal. I’ll visit again on my way to Disneyland or if I get stuck on the miserable I-​5 Freeway.

Every single time I pull up to this place the staff is always extremely pleasant and friendly. Afternoon or evening. All the staff that I encounter has been the nicest fast food employees that I have ever experienced. Chick-​Fila Levels but probably sincere.
Oh! The Corn Dogs are the best here. Which is why this has become a weekly thing for me since I moved here.

I’ll be forever addicted to Wienersnitzel’s chili cheese fries.
It looked somewhat neat inside when I pulled up to the window.
They gave me utensils and napkins without me having to ask for anything.
My food was hot and the usual saltiness that Wienersnitzel is known for.
They didn’t skimp on chili, so I actually had to use my fork.
I didn’t get food poisoning from here which was an added plus.

Ordered a jr chili cheese fry, chili cheese pretzel dog, and a pastrami angus dog on a pretzel bum. The pastrami dog came with NO pickles and two small slices of pastrami. The chili cheese fries had a small lump of chili and a few dry fies. Very dissatisfied. WTF? Just because I came are 11pm on a Friday doesn’t mean I should get crappy food. Pick it up Schnitzel.

Love this particular place… Very fast and it has a drive thru.
It also have a patio and a very small parking lot, that’s why I have to take one star out. Other than that, this place is awesome.
