I’m actually surprised at all the very positive ratings, our experience here was not very good at all. We sat at one of the outside tables for dinner on a Sunday evening, the waiter came right over and asked for our drink order (which was good), but then disappeared for quite awhile. We were about to leave and go somewhere else when he finally came back to take our food order. When the food finally came out my order was wrong, but I didnt complain because I was hungry, and my friend had hair in her food, so she sent it back. As someone else mentioned, they charge you for soft drink refills, which I always find annoying, and unless the place is amazing that alone is enough to not make me want to come back, this place is definitely not amazing and I’ll never come back.

The Food and Drinks are amazing here the Mac and cheese sliders are my all time favorite. The service here is perfect very helpful staff with tons of energy and humor to make your experience worth wild. I totally recommend this place.

The burger and the fish & chips that we got were decent enough, if not outstanding. We were unpleasantly surprised to learn when seeing the check, however that the soft drinks that had been «refilled» for us had each been separately billed for, something our server had neglected to mention at the time we were offered them. Not cool, and in a town with over a dozen restaurants in walking distance of each other, not exactly conducive to repeat business.

I only came here for drinks so I cant speak about the food. I was walking down Main St when and wanted to grab some drinks on a very hot Saturday afternoon. There weren’t that many people here but the bar was nice and cool which felt great.
I was a bit undecided on what I wanted to drink and then I noticed Piehole flavored Whiskey. I never seen this and since I love whiskey I decided to give it a try.
The bartender was very nice and let me all three flavors. I loved the apple pie and the cherry pie being second.
The bartender was nice but nothing out of the ordinary. This is a cool place to have some drinks, maybe next time I will try the food.

We had a great lunch today. Everyone was happy with their order! I had salmon over gorgonzola salad. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Crispy outside moist inside and salad was delicious!

Been here several times and the food is usually pretty good, as is the service. I’m a big fan of the fish and chips.
A couple of things irked me a bit on the last visit yesterday. The service staff seemed more interested in congregating at the back of the bar for a social session… pretty much ignoring us in the front of the restaurant. I had to get up and seek them out on three separate occasions. That is not good.
And what is with $ 13 for a plain (and not especially large) Caesar Salad? Very unreasonable pricing on that item.

An «upscale» Irish pub and restaurant. Bartenders are legit from Ireland and are always awesome to talk to.
I came with friends pre-​theater and had an amazing pork chop dish. It came with two chops — with baked apples and BACON mind you– — veggies, and a choice of potato/​rice/​fries but I opted for extra veggies instead. The mashed turnips were pretty freakin’ awesome. Entrée came with a salad.
Friends got fish and chips, and burgers, and everyone was happy. Waitress was pleasant.
Bathroom could definitely use an upgrade. Kind of gross in there.

I love O’Malley’s. It’s your typical neighborhood Irish pub.
The good:
The bartenders during the day and evenings are awesome. I think my favorite’s name is Paul.
Buy-​backs are standard… And this is the only bar in Nyack I’ve experienced them.
The standard Irish fare (corned beef, fish and chips) are awesome and cheap. Other bar fare is good as well. We came here for boozy lunch a few weeks ago, had five beers, two bloody mary’s, a cider, an order of fish and chips, and a reuben, and walked out for about $ 40.
The not-​so-​great:
This place turns into a club on weekend nights. It’s bizarre and I won’t step foot near it during those times.
Overall, O’Malley’s is a great staple in Nyack and, arguably, one of my favorite watering holes when you’re not looking for anything fancy… worth a trip.

I had my sister’s bridal shower here. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was amazing. The waitresses didn’t just serve the guests, they acted as party planners and worked extremely hard to ensure that everyone was happy. I’ve been here a few other times outside of the party and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

One of the only good bars still remaining in Nyack. The crowd is always full of good people, as well as some of my favorite bartenders Shane, Nick, and Paul. I always enjoy the food and it is a great place to come have some drinks with friends and meet some new people.

A good Irish pub! Food was very good. Love the atmosphere. It gets loud with some of the music but how can you dislike a place that plays the Pogues and Drop Kick Murphy. Service was excellent. Authentic pub ambiance. Good people crowd. Good place to go St Patrick’s weekend.
