Raley’s

We drive from Hilmar to shop here. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of allergy free foods for our family. I cannot say how many times they have ordered something for me. And they start carrying it once I’ve ordered it. With all of the food restrictions that our family has, Oakdale Raley’s has been a blessing. Because of them, our family eats well and remains safe and healthy. Thank you!!!

Love going to this Raley’s. Staff is very helpful and always friendly. It great to know that you can go here and be helped all the way out to your car without hesitation. I would tip, but they don’t accept tips. $ 5 dollar Monday’s have great savings. Clean, safe, and food items are fresh and clearly marked.

Yesterday I was in a hurry to bring back lunch to work, I ordered a sandwich tray with a bowl of broccoli salad and the Deli/​sandwich bar/​bakery was crazy. One gentlemen was helping me but wasn’t certain where my order was and a lady from the Sandwich bar Shanate stepped up and knew right where my order was and got me in and out of Raleys. The customer service at the Oakdale Raleys just doesn’t compare anywhere else, they go above and beyond every time I’m in the store.

This store is part of the outstanding Raley chain. Whether going east to the Sierras, or west from the Sierras, it is a perfect stop for rest and to buy supplies. It even offers wifi! Unlike Farmer’s Markets along Hwy. 120, this store is air-​conditioned and across the street from an economy Arco gasoline station.
I live near another Raley store and have rated that store as five star, and this store matches the quality of the other store. There is ample selection; for example, I was on the phone with my wife in the car for three minutes discussing all the varieties of hot dogs on the shelf in this store.
It is perfect eastbound heading to the Sierras or westbound coming down into the flatlands since there is a traffic signal at Maag Avenue which makes it easy and safe to turn in and to turn out from the parking lot. There is even a considerable, but not guaranteed, number of shady parking spaces.
Near the west entrance, there is a dispensary for Peet’s (brand) coffee including iced coffee (it does get hot in Oakdale). There is also a deli. Importantly, there are a group of air-​conditioned seats near the deli and the door. We bought iced coffee, chow mein, and a rice bowl while we sent our airplane mode cell phone back into wifi and rested from a tiring drive back down from the higher Sierras. They are even, of course in the Cowboy Capital of the World, passing out copies of West Coast Horsemen magazine for your enlightenment. We left the magazine behind for the local horse owners. My wife got all of her purchases, which included some extra groceries, on her Something Extra Raley’s loyalty program even 100 miles from home.
There is a rest room, which could get crowded, but it least the walls are ceramic and presumably graffiti resistant.

My favorite Raley’s to visit! Bobby has helped me many of times (as I regularly shop there) he is so friendly and hilarious! Always makes my grocery trips a good experience. Not a single bad thing I can say about this store!

The employees are ALWAYS friendly, professional, and efficient. The store is conscious of the clientele and adjusts to make it a better experience where ever they can.

Safeway prices with whole foods type items. Got a sandwich and it was great. Has all the other things I would normally get. Great place to stop on way to Yosemite.

This is one of several grocery stores in Oakdale. While some of the other stores offer more affordable prices on certain items, I continue to use this location as my primary store due to its great customer service. They also offer one of the better deli selections in town. Most of the staff is very knowledgable and willing to help when asked a question. Only downfall is they are resistant to make special orders for specific items.

I always stop here when I’m going to/​coming back from Yosemite and Eastern Sierra. Very helpful!

Convenient stop on your way to Yosemite. The bathrooms are always clean (unless a big tour bus just pulled out) & they have just about anything you need for your camping trip. Great beer selection, too!

Great place to stop on the way to Yosemite. It’s a pretty huge and well-​stocked store. They have a nice bathroom. It’s a good place to get snacks, plus they have a deli and decent sushi, and places to sit, and a coffee bar. Not a lot to complain about.

I go here to use their clean bathroom. I’ve also bought a few things from here also. Please note: stay away from their store brand bagels. They’re dry, crumbly, and bland. Stick with the brand name ones. Sorry! But your pizza bagel caught my eyes but it is so hard to swallow.
I also love their free magazine by the front entrance. There’s some good recipes in there.
