Food is okay. Disappointed in the customer service. I ordered Super nachos with carnitas but was brought a Super burrito with carnitas. That costs more and is how I was charged. When I asked about that I was told they were the same price. Not according to the menu board! Granted it is .50 cents but still the principal.

This is a decent taqueria to stop by on the way to Yosemite. It’s also conveniently located next to Raley’s so you can pick up last minute groceries for your trip. I’ve only been here once and tried their carne asada super burrito. It was a decent burrito, it wasn’t terrible but it also didn’t light my world on fire. What i enjoyed most about this restaurant were the affordable prices, relatively big portions, and great customer service. They also have a salsa bar and you get chips with your order. I’m adding an additional star because the lady who worked there commented on how cute my dress was, even though I was a sweaty hot mess from the trip. Cheers to making a girl feel pretty!

Ate here for dinner last night and my burrito was so delicious! It was a little on the bland side but then I also ordered it without salsa. The burrito was huge, I couldn’t finish it, and the tortilla was so soft and yummy. The chips and salsa were good. I tried the green avocado-y salsa that wasn’t spicy in the least bit. If it was a little spicy it would have been perfect. We paid $ 19 something for two burritos and two drinks. The place could use a good wipe down. That being said, I would definitely eat here again(if we want Mexican food on our way to Black Oak)!

Love stopping here in the way to/from the mountains on 120. Great authentic food. Very generous portions. The salsa bar is a bit weak.

It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good either. I had the tamale/chili relleno plate. The tamale was not tender and tasted as if it had been microwaved. The relleno was quite a bit better. I think this might be my only visit. Taco Bell might have been better!

I’ve been here a few times. Average food. The service is not too friendly. Made me feel like they wanted the order in a hurry for a family with kids. Pretty bland food for Mexican food. Prices are a little steep for what you get. Not the cleanest looking establishment.

I have been back a few more times. 2 out of 3 times they got the order wrong. I watched the girl up front write it down correctly. I do really like the super burritos and red salsa. They have good pork and chicken.

Pretty cheap, lots of items to choose from, complete with salsa bar. Only wish the salsas were a little hotter. Clean restroom.

This is, in my opinion, the absolute best place in Oakdale to eat Mexican food. Nothing on the menu will disappoint you by any means, but I strongly suggest either their pastor or carne asada in whatever fashion usually satisfies your desires. I personally prefer pastor tacos, or carne asada on their super nachos, quesadilla, or super burrito, which can be ordered mojado(wet) with your choice of either green or red sauce. Either way you will not be sorry. Their salsa bar is a fairly wide array of great salsas but if your a pico type you will have to order it at the cashier. This is a taqueria so do not expect a sit down full service type experience like you may find at other places. You order your food at the cashier, they give you a number, then they deliver your food to your table once it’s ready. The staff is nice, warm, and welcoming and the atmosphere is appropriate.

Good food. They should work on their hospitality though. Not so great. Cold looked bothered that they had to make my order because they were talking among themselves.

It was early morning on my way back from the casino, i was starving but didn’t want fast food or the drive thru. I came here for a breakfast burrito, and I must say it was easily top breakfast burrito I’ve had. The establishment, was clean, fast and friendly as I watched them make my food as I waited. Will def return one of these days

Came in for lunch. Place was empty. Placed my order. Salsas were okay. Happy they had jalapeños and lime. Cabbage was not great, had too much oregano and looked old. Flaunt as were good. Rice was hard. Beans were good. My friend’s quesadilla was full of pico de gallo. No sour cream or guacamole to go with it. It was just very.. . Blah. Oh! Self serve soda lmao!

We’ve been coming to Yosemite quite a bit this year for climbing and hiking. To make the most of our trip to Yose on Sundays the guys get a few hours of climbing before we head back to the city while I take a hike, so we usually have worked up an appetite by the time we leave. We found a perfect restaurant to get our Mexican food fix in Manteca but his time around this was recommended from someone in our group. We didn’t mind trying something new and grateful for the recommendation. The plus side was that its closer than Manteca especially when someone in your group is hangry. We ordered chicken and al pastor burrito, ceviche torta, and horchata. All were just okay. Complementary chips tasted stale. We were told their salsa bar is awesome but its got nothing on the Mexican restaurant in Manteca. Much more selection not just the salsa bar but menu as well. It was nice that the Valero gas is just right there making it a perfect spot to grab a bite and fill up. The stop in Manteca not only has a slightly better taqueria but gas is also about 20 cents cheaper. We’ll probably go back to our normal routine.

I’ve been coming here for 11 years since I started working here in Oakdale. I recommend it to everyone I know who will be in this area. The meat is the bomb, and everything always turns out so great. Horchata is from scratch and is THEE best! Salsa bar is awesome too. Customer service is great too.

I’m addicted to their super burritos with al pastor. We get takeout from here at least once a week. The staff is always friendly and service is always fast.

Had the burrito mojado and it was outstanding. Definitely the ideal wet burrito. They also had a salsa bar and what is better than that? 10⁄10 would come again.

I suggest the Super Burrito with pollo asado and carne asada without beans or salsa with extra rice. Something to improve would be to have coffee available. Also have an option to have a burrito bowl which would be all the aspects of a burrito without the tortilla served in a bowl.

My driving buddy and I kept talking about all the flavors that were bursting out of each burrito as we took bite by bite all the way to San Francisco. The ESPECIALBURRITO and PORKBURRITO each were oozing with fresh flavor, made quickly, are affordable, and are portioned for sumo wrestlers. The chips were fresh and warm, and the salsa bar was just that: various salsas for your culinary delight(though, the burritos need no sauce, in my opinion). On top of that, the staff are beyond friendly and the place was spotless. Epic win.(Was recommended by the neighboring gas station attendant!)

We’ve stopped here a few times on our way home from Yosemite and this will be last time. It’s not that it’s that bad, but it is just not that good. Today I had the carnitas tostada and the meat itself was ground up and a weird texture. Carnitas done right should be strips of meat and some crunchiness. The salsa bar is nice. And I liked the strawberry drink.
