Very professional people and fast turn around for a replacement crystal face for my watch: Seiko automatic @ $ 40; 1dy. However, once I was able to take a closer look at the work quality, I noticed a left over shard of crystal sliding around freely inside of the watch and the replacement crystal was replaced a few degrees crooked. My assumption has always been that watch making/​repair was a precise business.

I was looking for a place to swap out watch batteries on Piedmont Ave and was very happy. First place I tried, the guy left a half hour before they were supposed to close. This place was open a half hour later than their Unilocal hours (until 6:30).
This is inside Anatoly’s, a couple doors from the pet store. They had a banner that said «Watch Repair» so it’s easy to find.

Sergey saved my 27 year-​old Dunhill!
I was on vacation in October and got some water into my beloved Dunhill watch. Since I was not in a place where I could trust a jeweler to open the watch and dry it out, I sadly eyed the condensation inside the crystal, day after day, for over 2 weeks. When I got back at last, I wanted to try a local repair jeweler instead of trekking to SF as I have always done. Then the watch STOPPED completely. I knew it was coming, but I was still pretty sad. 27 years is a long relationship, after all.
I took the watch in to 1ne Watch Repair on Wednesday just before closing. Sergey told me he would open it up, dry it out, replace the battery and see what else was going on. Two days later he called me to come collect my WORKING WATCH! I zipped in, paid a fraction of what I would have paid to a SF jeweler, and have my beloved companion on my wrist again. He even cleaned up the bracelet, which has open gold links, so it looks great.

Sergey is awesome. Very friendly guy. Customer centered and honest. He does basics: change batteries, bands, links, etc. However, if he cannot do it, such as when I needed my antique Omega cleaned, he was honest and referred me to a shop that could handle the work.
A couple months ago, I lost the bar to my watch band. Sergey replaced it free of charge. He remembered selling me the band the year before! Great guy!

Sergey is the proprietor and is not only a gentleman, but also very skilled, meticulous and honest. I just had a crystal replaced and he did an EXCELLENT job. He went above and beyond basic service. You’re dealing directly with the person who repairs your watch — as opposed to a shop that sends your watch to another location to repair. Highly recommended.
