iStorage Oakland Coliseum

My experience with IStorage Coliseum has been great. They have made really great changes lately, one of them being the new store manager, Reyna. I have seen changes from manager to manager here but she has by far made the biggest difference for the better. I can tell that she truly cares at excelling at her job which in turn has made this location in East Oakland become safer and more secure. If you have storage needs, check this place out. Istorage will take care of you.

We moved out of large size condo into smaller place, and had to store some of our items somewhere. Lady at the front desk asked me how many items and how many boxes we had, and she suggested just the right size of the storage room for us. Service was great the access is easy, and large size moving truck can come and easy. Very affordable monthly rate. highly recommend to anybody who needs storage.

After visiting numerous websites for storage places, trying to find just the right one for me, I came across iStorage.
The prices were significantly lower than all the storage places for a 5×10 that I could even drive up to so I don’t have to worry about lugging things down hallways or different floors.
The location was convenient, I didn’t want to have to drive across town to access my storage as I’m just slowly bringing things via my rav4.
When I called to make a reservation, Leslie was friendly and helpful, I was guaranteed the price advertised online. I came in the next hour and got to ride the golf cart to see the unit. Brianna was super friendly, and hooked it up with a special so I saved even more money. While I was there, she was also busy with phone customers. I noticed that they are willing to accommodate to customer’s needs, and they also have a generous grace period of 10 days. There is a store on site for convenience in case you forget anything.
I’m satisfied so far.

This business has changed ownership. These older reviews do not apply. It IS a big chain now. I used it for 4 years with absolutely no issues. In the few months since the change, I’ve had nothing but problems. They changed the day my rent is due without informing me so that they could hit me with a $ 60 late fee. They raised the rent. There are always added on fees without explanation and they say I’m late with rent before it’s even due. They changed my login information without telling me and I’ve had to create a new account twice. They don’t respond to email or their web interface.

Good storage space. Friendly people that privately owns it (not a big franchise). Good competitive pricing plus its a one story storage place not like other storage companies where you may have a 2^nd floor storage room and have to maneuver your items through the 2^nd floor (big hassle). On top of that, they gave us free A’s tickets for finding them on Unilocal.Thats icing on the cake right there.

This place is worlds different from the big national chains – very friendly, personalized service; clean, secure units, good rates. The owners actually live on the property, so it is very secure.
