Kelly’s Deli is a lowly, lucky barnacle clinging to the belly of a giant SPERM whale, The Home Depot. Why so lucky? Because even though their grub ain’t great, Kelly’s Deli keeps on swimming thanks to the business it gets from its giant, orange-apron-wearing crutch. 2 S T A R S * OHMAHDOGS! Ever eaten a horrendous IKEA dog? Don’t worry, Kelly’s dogs are waaay better. : Hot Link — DECENT. They slice open the yummy sausage link and crisp it on the griddle. Not very spicy. Average toppings. : Super Steak Fries — KINDAGOOD. So-So carne asada, beans, onions, and nacho cheese on crinkle-cut fries. Heavy, but tasty and moist. * A QUICKRESPITE Admittedly, Home Depot is my grown up Toys-R-Us. After walking for miles down its cavernous aisles, and loading up my hatchback with lots of heavy man-things that I may not actually need, scarfing down a Kelly’s Deli hot dog, seated at a sunny picnic table is a nice little moment before I have to go. 3 M E H — N U S E S — MEH-LANCHOLYTACOS If these tacos were Catholics, they’d be MEHxcommunicated! Asada was MEH, Al Pastor MEH-rinade MEHcipe was a salty, ground pork, MEHnstrosity, and the tortillas dry as a MEHther jacket! Cooks need to be excited by what’s cooking, but the tacos came out like the griddle-master was depressed. Stop taking us customers for granted and cook what you yourself would love to eat! — A LACKOFMEH-TIVATION Nothing lowers a hungry contractor’s lunch standards quicker than loading a pickup with 20 sheets of drywall and 30 gallons of paint. So why should KD up its game when these unwitting twits keep lining up? The shame is, because Home Depot consistently supplies KD with customers, KD has no incentive to improve. — MEH-SSEDOPPORTUNITIES? Since we’re at the Home Depot, let’s be constructive and suggest some improvements. Every ingredient necessary to conjure together some clever, new, tasty magic already exists under KD’s greasy roof. It just takes the will to improve and a little IMAGINATION! Yo Kelly, why don’t you try a few of these fusion recipe ideas and see how they do: : Hotdog topped with Grilled Carnitas and Melted Cheese : Chorizo topping on a White Sausage Dog : Bacon Dogs? : Hot Link Quesadilla : Hot Dog cooked in Al Pastor Marinade as the meat in a Super Burrito Take a risk! Just Mex up the sausages, or sausage up the Mexican food and get ready for louder CHA-CHINGs. Detach little barnacle! Detach from your comfortable MEHdiocrity and become the self-sufficient, sought-after LOBSTER I know you can be!

I must admit every time I come to Home depot I stop for my Hot Link. They are some of the best in town and don’t think that just because they are located outside of the Home Depot their food isn’t good. Any time of the day you can get good fast and chep food. Enjoy everybody I know I do

I asked my friend what he wanted for breakfast. I’d buy, since he helped me push my no-crank-no-start car to the shop(don’t worry about the dent on the trunk). He said«The best breakfast burrito in the East Bay.» And he took me to Home Depot. Well, right outside Home Depot. Breakfast Burrito. Chorizo, well-scrambled eggs, potatoes, well-toasted(but not crunchy) tortilla. It was so hot I waited 20 min til I got into work to take my first bite. And it was still really too hot. but oh man, the flavors! Will try some other things before I go crazy w/the ratings(Really don’t like overhyped places. after all, this is just a food cart). But for not, this is a solid place for breakfast. I asked the guy who was wrapping my burrito whether they had a phone number I could call in to pre-order. He said, «Well, don’t have a phone line out here, so we only really do that for our regulars, cuz it’s our personal numbers we have to give out.» Alright Mr. Burrito Man, let’s say we swap numbers next week. Details: Breakfast Burrito: $ 4.95(3÷11÷2014 prices) They take credit cards. Awesome.

Burritos are not really good. The rice they use is really weird. Not Mexican rice fosure. But there hot dogs are DELICIOUS and there sausages. Quesadillas are bomb. Cheese is little too googy
