I often tell myself, after eating at this place(Lucky Express) that I’m going to stop eating here because the food here is often cold(Below luke warm). However, because I only have a hour for lunch and this place is located near my job, I often come to grab a quick lunch. But! today, 03÷01÷16, I will never purchase any food from these stone face women, who works behind the counter again. There is one lady who mainly take your order and serve the food, she looks like one of the cartoon characters from the«Power Puff» girls. But a old one. I notice when customers are ordering their food, and when she messes up(Her fault) she gives that customer a mean rule glare as if it’s their(Customer) fault. No she is not paying a attention to what the customer is asking for. But, again, I will not be ever returning to this place, because I asked the cashier when paying for my small order of dry fried ribs, I asked her for four«Hot Mustard» sauce. She applied and place them in my bag, and than I asked her if I could have two more. Her response was«YOUASKEDFORFOUR» IFYOUWANTTWOMOREITSGOINGTOCOSTYOU .25CENTS. I told her never mind. For a short while, I been a regular customer here. And, not because their food is good. I HADBESTANDBETTER. Their food is often greasy and cold. If you’re lucky, you can sometimes catch the food hot when the cooks in the back bring in another batch from the Kitchen. I don’t believe this food is authentic. I am also sure that the employees and owners don’t eat what they are serving to the community. African Americans should stop patronizing these people, because they come into our communities and sell our products, i.e. hair, clothes, etc., but they only want our dollars as there is no respect ever giving to us. Their body language speaks for itself.

Lucky Express is a likely name for a bus tour to an indian/tahoe casino. named. for an eatery, it forbodes the unthinkable. do u feel lucky ur food will be fresh? doubt that was the intention. reviews mention this possibility. menu: 12 items on steamtable, ready to scoop. 1 item and rice/chow mein, 5.79, 2, 6.79, 3 items, 7.79, appetitzers. eats:(s)salt and pepper chicken, 3.75 –salt yes, pepper no, spicy via jalepeno peppers –thick batter, little chicken tasted. –no comparison to any fried chicken item, more batter than chicken. –service friendly, just one server… take outs: –a few tables available for sit down eating –over ½ items deep fried, most meats were…

This is next door to the laundromat. We was hungry so we decided to try this place out since you know it re-opened. Well our experience here sucked. Their costumer service sucked as well. They’re skimpy when it came to our food. I do noticed that they favors and are more nicer to individuals that you know aren’t Asian! Lol. They gave us one bag of soy sauce and spoon. When we asked for one more they want talk all that Ching Chong like we don’t already know what the fuck you tripping about. I ain’t never going back. Asian Delight is way better!

so im not from san leandro but my gf introduced me to this spot and we go at least once a week! the food is always delicious and fresh. this place can get packed with a line quickly, so thats how you know this is the neighborhood spot for some good chinese! i recommend the salt and pepper chicken or spare ribs(i forget which i get, but i know its salt and pepper!). the chow mein is scrumptious too. ive also been in the store when there have been some rude ass customers. some customers can get loud and disrespectful, and let me just say, ive been in the chinese fast food business… and its not that serious to bitch loudly and make a scene over some food that cost you a couple bucks to buy. so suck it up and dont cause a scene just because you think you can. dont be fooled by the location and curb appearance, this place is a great pick when you need some quick chinese!
