We like to order delivery from here. They are always on time. Big portions. Not the best chinese food I’ve had but definitely a great value. They put extra veggies in the dish if you ask for it. We have order from them multiplle time and will continue to order delivery. Haven’t been in the restaurant so I can’t tell you what that’s like but definitely satisfied with their delivery service.

Horrible customer service. They don’t speak English well so it’s really hard to communicate when they’ve got your order wrong. I tried to nicely explain they got my order wrong. Instead, they gave me an attitude as if it was my fault they made food I did not order. I also question the sanitation of the restaurant. I thought it would be a nice mom & pop, hole in the wall type of restaurant in the neighborhood worth going to and supporting. Nope, never again.

I work across the street from this restaurant and I am always pleased with my food. Everything is always hot and fresh, the women who is in the front taking the orders is so welcoming! I have had times where I have been a little short and she always tells me to bring it next time. Great people, great food and ok eating establishment.

Can be hit or miss… we started off on a high note… but this place has sanitary issues. Last time I ate here we received a rice that had potatoes, «meats» and fish bones in it. We ever only order the shrimp fried rice or chicken fried rice, that was I guess the free«item» you get if you spent over $ 35…no thanks. I don’t eat fish bones or fish scales, it’s just not my thing or potatoes in my rice, I’m not even sure they sell potatoes on the menu so I’m not sure why they were there. Not sure where the rice is stored in order to get fish bones in it but the health department should take a look. Also don’t order in the last hour because they will deliver your food after closing and if anything is wrong they won’t fix it because it’s close. I personally don’t eat here anymore.

A reasonably good neighborhood pickup place that works for me. A big plus is that their menu offers«small» versions of many dishes, so if just one person, can still get some variety without bushels of food. I usually order braised tofu(which, if the right cook is on duty, is excellent. If not, is still fine), wor wonton soup(surprisingly chock full of ‘goodies’ and perfect when I’m craving comfort soup) and braised green beans. I keep it simple. I would never ask a place this size to deliver, and the main drawback is that I have to come prepared to wait for my order, as they have one –maybe two– person(s) cooking and have apparently been burned by no-shows. They might say«ten minutes» on phone but it isn’t. Summary: nice people, bare-bones and somewhat inefficient place, pretty tasty food, cheap prices.

I ordered through grub Hub my order never came. I called several times the first time they said they were too busy to send it out. The second time I called they said they were on their way. Then. two hours later I had to cancel the order. Don’t order from them. This is the second time this has happened to me when I ordered from them.

This is a super-basic, super-standard Chinese restaurant. The menu is the Chinese standard dishes with a few special things like salt and pepper crabs. I was here for lunch and got General Cho chicken with rice. This came with an egg roll and a small hot and sour soup. The egg roll was a greasy cabbage-filled thing, and the soup was starch-thicked brown stock with a bit of bamboo shoot and egg strands — neither very hot nor sour. Both were entirely forgettable. My main dish, which I asked to be lightly sauced, came with about a pound of white rice. The dish wasn’t really hot enough for General Cho’s, but the meat was fresh, and it was accompanied with a very few pieces of water chestnut and carrot. Tasty and filling. A place I’ll try again if I’m hungry and in the neighborhood but not somewhere I’ll drive to, and certainly not where I could impress guests.

Their food here was fresh and delicious. They quoted me 35 minutes for delivery but it was delivered within about 20 minutes of ordering. No complaints! All around great find for delivery!

Their prices are low for a reason. I ordered General Chicken, Black Bean Chow Fun, Black Pepper Beef and Salt and Pepper Spareribs. Everything but the ribs was between 20−50% filler of large bell pepper and onion chunks. Yes, the Chicken, Chow Fun and Pepper Beef all contained a large quantity of 1″ sized pieces of(whole) onion and bell pepper. By the time I removed all of the bell peppers and onion, I barely had any actual food left. The Spareribs appeared to have been cut at some random angle that somehow left more bone than meat. And bone splinters galore. I had to throw it out from fear of puncturing my esophagus.

Ordered delivery. 1. Food arrived cold. 2. They substituted this for that. 3. 6 rather than 8 pot stickers. And the best for last. I found a long black hair in my food. Feeling a bit green and I have a cast iron stomach. Will NEVER order from this restaurant again.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food ever. How is it possible to be both oily and watery? No flavor. The orange flavored chicken tasted like fish. Never again.

READTHIS: my wife and i just stopped eating after two bites. there the food sits… as we stare at it in disbelief. How poor can Chinese food be? Welp, bad. I’m allergic to MSG, so I always specifically ask for NOMSG, the woman on the phone said«well the prawns and egg rolls are pre-made and they have MSG, do you want them still…» so clearly MSG is a staple here. BEWARE. Why did i order? A evil desire cause myself pain and suffering? So, after taking a few bites my wife looked at me the exact moment I looked at her and we had the same look on our face, complete disappointment. Through our amazing husband-wife communication skills, which sounded like wife: uhuhhhshhhfhfhhh. me: plaplsjfeeeshhheehh… we realized that we had different opinions. I thought my food tasted like chemicals, perhaps MSG. She thought hers was going to mutate her DNA. Final thought: the wanton soup was so hyper surface-of-the-sun-hot that you burn you mouth, the idea here is that you can’t taste the other food.

I think they finally deserve a good review my second time here and both experiences were great for the Kung pao. I love the fact there’s lots of peanuts and veggies and enough meat(that are meat chunks not thin sliced chicken) in the serving. I could eat it everyday. So today I got a order of the lemon chicken and they decided they would serve the lemon sauce on the side don’t think I ever seen that. I didn’t get to taste it either. But it was a thin piece of chicken with a light crispy batter fried and on top of some shredded veggie. The place doesn’t look so hot and I don’t plan on eating there any time soon. I will stick to pick up being that it’s two blocks away from home.

Literally the worst Chinese delivery experience I’ve had here in Oakland. I ordered their glazed walnut shrimp, wonton soup, white rice, and Chow Mein. The rice and Chow Mein were alright, nothing special but at least it wasn’t as horrible as my GLAZED Walnut shrimp!!! Omg when I say horrible I mean terrible, disgusting looking, unacceptable. The shrimp looked as if they were thrown in the microwave for fast heating, and looked so wrong! They gave me the«coconut glaze» in a separate container, which is ridiculous. I know what good Glazed walnut shrimp is and trust me this is not what your looking for. The wonton soup I ordered was not cooked all the way. The chicken and meat in the soup were funny tasting, and to make things worst my container top was cracked open so there was soup dripping everywhere! And lastly to make manners worst the delivery guy FORGOT my can SODA! I would say stay away from this place, as you can find way better Chinese delivery in the area.

Hot and sour soup ok. Food a bit too salty. Cheap. Decent if you’re hungry and in neighborhood.

An hour and a half later, our dinner finally shows up. My order of Kung Pao Chicken was at least 75% zucchini. The little bit of chicken did taste good, but there was so little it was laughable. –Pot Stickers: Overly Doughy –Veg & Tofu: Bland –Egg Rolls: Greasy Never ordering from them again.

We just moved to the Dimond District, and decided to try this Chinese restaurant out. We ordered the fried spare ribs, stir fried string beans with chicken, and the chicken fried rice. Each dish was flavorful, and the price was decent. I would definitely return for order out since it is close by, and the food is decent. The staff is really nice too.

We’ve ordered delivery from Wing Wah three or four times now and each time is more exciting than the last! The delivery man is always really nice, and a neighborhood gem. He’s kinda awkward, but that’s okay because I am too. Last time he delivered he commented how I’m always barefoot. I mean yeah, it is my house, so I don’t wear shoes to answer the door. I think the delivery guy thinks my house is funny because he’s always ultra friendly and surprised that we order so much. I hope he doesn’t think it’s just me eating a giant box of Chinese food. Last time we ordered he had to pull the box out of the trunk of his hatchback because we had people over and ordered a shit ton. Oh! But enough about the adorable delivery guy. The food is pretty great but definitely not for dieters. It’s incredibly greasy and will eat through its containers within a day of being in the fridge. As gross as that sounds, all of that oil and fat is delicious as hell — I’m a fan. I never really remember what I ordered by the time it’s delivered, but the price is fantastic and the food is exactly what I want out of a late night Chinese food delivery service. If I wanted high quality I’d go out to eat. This Chinese food is perfect for a night of Netflix and melt into the couch. I advice saving a few bucks and steaming your own rice to soak up all that greasy goodness. TL;DR The fortune cookies are always enlightening and the price is perfect. Thanks Wing Wah!

What an incongruous eating experience. Felt like a low-key night in with Netflix, so chose to get delivery from Wing Wah on a whim off of Grub Hub. Ordered Chicken Fried Rice, Pork Chow Mein and Black Pepper Pork. We’ll get to the food later… After taking more than an hour and a half, delivery guy finally came, delivering a hastily packed order of takeout cartons that were busting open with overflowing food. My roommate and I were starving, so we quickly ravaged through the cartons and started stuffing our faces. The only problem was that it wasn’t quite our order; the Chow Mein was there, but it was missing the Fried Rice and Pepper Pork. At precisely that moment of realization, delivery guy called and said he was coming by to switch the order… and that’s when things got weird… The guy now had our correct order, but he also asked for the partially eaten food that we had started eating before we realized the order wasn’t correct. When I told him we had already started eating it, he freaked out a bit, going full on double face-palm, bent down to his knees, head and hands pointed up to the sky. Apparently the restaurant had already closed, so some other poor soul wouldn’t be getting their order tonight. Delivery guy, looking as if the world had just ended, scolded me for eating the food that wasn’t mine, as if I had done it purposely. So to recap: it took more than an hour and a half to be delivered an order that wasn’t mine, another 15 – 20 minutes to get the right order, then attitude from the delivery guy for his own mistake. Lovely. As for the food itself, it was – not surprisingly – cold, but surprisingly tasty. The Chicken Fried Rice was flavorful, not greasy, and at $ 3.70, a really good value. The Chow Mein was also pretty decent. The Black Pepper Pork had no such black pepper, and was pretty bland overall, but 2⁄3 dishes aint too shabby. If it weren’t for the lousy delivery experience, would probably recommend Wing Wah as some decent Chinese takeout.
