Delicious pulled pork sandwhich! The sauce was the perfect blend of spice and sweetness. I had macaroni and cheese as well– it was less than steller. Tasted like box Kraft. But the bbq there is well worth it!

Saw this place at a chili cook off in flowery branch. They had a BBQ tent set up and the sandwich was awesome. Can’t wait to try the rest off the food. Pulled pork and chili both off the chain.

Lazy Bear is the bomb! The one draw back is because the storefront is soooo soooo small, they tend to run out of food and is the only reason I can’t give Lazy Bear a 5 star rating. Here are a few tips: They are closed on Monday. If you want ribs on Saturday, order them by Tuesday! BBQ nachos are the best! Pulled pork plates are the next best! Sides: My love loves the fried okra and I love the slaw and beans. The potato salad is your everyday recipe, so try something else… but the baked beans are amazing! I want to bathe in the BBQ Sauce!

This was the final stop on my mini Georgia BBQ Crawl this past weekend. There was name recognition with Lazy Bear BBQ participating on the«in-between» season of BBQ Pitmasters. And since I saw this was on my way home from Charlotte(via a 20-minute detour), I decided to give it a shot. The décor of the place is very down-home and cozy. Trophies of all the accolades won by Lazy Bear BBQ are displayed for all to see. When I arrived at 11am, I discovered that they were still serving breakfast. However, they had pork BBQ available for purchase. So I purchased a pork BBQ plate. The sides I got were baked beans and corn fritters. The pork was okay, but drowned in their house BBQ sauce. It wasn’t a bad sauce, but I would’ve liked to have tried it on the side. The baked beans were fairly pedestrian and nothing to write home about. The corn fritters were very tasty and fresh! I’d like to come back here during their lunch hour to try some of their other offerings. This review(with pictures), along with the other 2 stops on my mini Georgia BBQ Crawl, is available at
