Really good take out and big serving sizes. We will be keeping this menu in the draw at the shore house!

Went there with a friend after biking around town and hiking at Corson’s Inlet State Park, was the closest restaurant to the park. Really wanted ice cream or water ice, but off season it wasn’t open for cold items until 4pm, so didn’t help us with lunch. Got several cups of water, waitress was very nice, generally low key and could sit as long as we wanted. I got the steamed chilled shrimp with cocktail sauce, and my friend got the crabcake sandwich with chips. Both good ad tastes as expected, serving sizes okay. Would like to go back and get some water ice too, especially after a hot day along the beach…

Good seafood but over priced. Would be a much better value if entrees were less expensive.

Great experience year after year. Food has always been fresh. Customer service amazing. Great portions for the price.

We go here every summer while on vacation and the food is always amazing! Old bay crab balls are the best. Only complaint would be I’ve had a couple times they were out of stock of what I wanted but it happens

Worse shore eating establishment. We just ordered over 100 dollars worth of food and there isn’t 1 thing I would ever eat again. The pasta was dry, the shrimp platter was supposed to be fried and it came steamed. The portions were sad looking to say the least. I would definitely not recommend this place

There’s nothing spectacular about Mike’s(or any fried seafood, for that matter). It is what it is… when you’re at the shore, it’s almost mandatory that you get fried seafood at least once, and that’s why places like Mike’s exist. It’s a bit expensive, but it satisfied that craving… and then you can move onto all the other ones you get at the shore, like Johnson’s popcorn, Kohr Bros custard and Manco pizza. Solid seafood.

What an extreme disappointment! We’ve gotten food from here before and cooked at home which was great. Saturday night though, we ordered takeout and if it wasn’t storming so bad, I would have taken everything right back! Fish(mahi mahi) was so over cooked that even the dog wouldn’t eat it! Sautéed crab meat tasted like it had been sitting out in the sun all day on the dock of the bay where it was caught! Absolutely gross and don’t understand how it was even served because the smell was terrible upon opening the container. Shrimp poppers big disappointment– shrimp added to a mozzarella stick… the only decent thing were the clam strips and they come frozen in a bag so rather difficult to mess up! Will be going to 16th st seafood from now on, although pricier, atleast reliable food!

We ordered take out from here to satisfy our crab craving. Ordering over the phone was easy and the food was ready in less than 20 minutes. The snow crab legs were fresh. We ordered steamed shrimp and sautéed clams in garlic butter(very good). Overall the food was good, although not entirely mind blowing. I can’t point my finger on why though.

Came to Mike’s Seafood of Ocean City over the weekend for lunch. The restaurant had a premium shore feel with both the ambience and atmosphere around the location. I ordered a fried Flounder sandwich, a crabcake sandwich for my date, and a soda for the two of us. The sandwiches each came with a bag of chips, tarter sauce, and cocktail sauce. They also came in a Styrofoam box for anyone who wanted to take their meal on the beach and share with the gang of seagulls. My fried flounder sandwich was very good, but I felt it was small. The bill came to $ 21 for two sandwiches and a soda. Not bad for the prices in the area, but expensive standing alone. Will most likely return without complaints though!

Mikes is a total summer time joint. Mike duz a nice jib over there. Seafood is always fresh n delicious. The prices are at a premium as the quality of the food. Cheap seafood ain’t good n good seafood ain’t cheap. Great soups. Platters come with fries n slaw. We don’t hit up mikes a lot but when we do its always good.

I love seafood in the summertime even when it’s packed with people that are from out of state like; New York City, Philadelphia, D. C, & etc. I highly recommend you bring the family to the best seafood in south jersey!

Fun atmosphere, very beechy feel. My wife had the stuffed lobster special while my son and I both opted for the fish and chips(haddock). We were all pleased with our choices and enjoyed our experience.

Completely understand why this place is 3 stars and I don’t understand why people would rate it any better. We had the grilled mahi mahi, so over cooked it was barely edible. Another had the grilled swordfish, also over cooked but it’s a pretty forgiving fish so it was only borderline awful. I had the lobster dinner, best of the 3 meals but the lobster was tough. The clam chowder we ordered had a good taste but it was lukewarm when it came out. Happy to get out of there.

Great place to grab a bite. Love the fried clams and lobster sandwich. The food is a little pricey but it is always good and is a place I always stop at when in ocnj. Very casual place– shoes not needed!

Aweful and overpriced. I had the lobster roll and it was plain at best and overpriced. We also had the flounder steamed that was swimming in butter. Two other fish dishes were equally bad. I would not recommend this restaurant.

This place is a bit expensive for what you actually get in terms of portions. But goddamn, it’s so good.

Mike’s Seafood is incredible! A must-visit while in OCNJ! Their food is delicious, they give generous portions and they’re very reasonably priced. Great customer service: very friendly staff and quick take out service(avg 10 – 15 mins even during busy dinner hours). I’ve only ever done take-out but they have an adorable/covered outside seating area with picnic benches and some more picnic benches around the building. They also have an ice cream and water ice stand next door :) I highly recommend supporting Mike’s — you will not be disappointed!

I really can’t see what the fuss is with this place, except that people seem to go there more as a nostalgic traditional thing rather than a must-have-that-food urge. Clam strips are no better than what I can get at Friendly’s, and the fried oysters are shapeless and somewhat gross. Fries wilt to a mushy potatoey vegetable within 3 minutes of exiting the fryer. For the exorbitant price, this just isn’t a place that I’d recommend. Amazingly, every year we are in OC, we end up ordering dinner from Mike’s. …go figure…

I would give them zero if I could, I went to get ice cream with my daughter on our bikes — after buying ice cream cones and sitting on an empty bench, we were chased away from the tables by an obnoxious manager. He threatened me with getting hosed off if we stayed at the tables, despite them being completely empty at the time. When the discussion escalated, he threatened to beat me up — in front of my daughter. I admit I got pretty heated about it — bit not without provoking from him. he might not understand the safety issue of having a 10 year old try to ride a bike a eat and eat an ice cream cone — and why it made more sense to sit and eat the cones before riding home — but that didn’t matter to him as he was more focused on the sign that relegated ice cream buyers to the stoops of the businesses across the street. This may explain why there are 50 people waiting in line across the street at ala mode and NOONE at Mike’s Whoever owns this should know how they are treating their customers — and why repeat business will surely be dropping for this place
