I may have had too high expectations of this place but I was just very disappointed with my visit. Now I really love potatoes and will eat them for lunch on a regular basis, so the food concept is not the problem. I think I was expecting a build-your-own potato bar and that is not was I got; the business model is based on pre-selected recipes that you may choose from — enchilada style, Thai style, chili and cheese, basic butter and chives, etc. My 10-year old companion ordered the kids chili and cheese potato– which seemed hard to mess up. However, the potato skin was so hard(old?) that he broke his fork trying to cut through the skin. I tried to help him and I agreed something was definitely off with the potato. The chili was just ok, tasted liked canned chili to me… nothing special. I ordered the enchilada style with pork and it was a little bland with some of veggies(corn and green peppers) not quite working with the overall flavor profile. The pork itself was rather bland and needed some kind of spice to make it «enchilada style.» Overall, something was just lacking at Brixton’s. I don’t think I will return and just stick to my own potato concoctions at home. Perhaps if they offered a custom build your own I would reconsider, but at this time I just don’t think it is worth visiting again.

Tried this place for the first time. Had a breakfast baked potato. It was delicious! You get a lot of food for a very reasonable price. The place was clean and all the staff were very upbeat and happy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Before I stepped foot into the place I described it as «like Subway but with potatoes» and when I got there, I was right! Don’t expect rare purple gourmet potato with glitter here. It’s a basic potato bar but you don’t do it yourself that’s decently priced. It’s decently priced so if it takes a couple of tries to find your favorite style, you don’t feel like you wasted the calories.

Had the potato soup. Didn’t know it was going to be cream soup with a pealed potato and microwaved together. Cheese and corn added flavor. Green onions very strong. Still burping them up. I’ll try the baked potato next time.

I used to go to a potato bar over 20 years ago and it was by far one of my favorite lunch spots. When I saw there was one in Ogden, I had to try it. One word — blah! Ingredients are all mediocre. I think everything is bought pre-made at Costco and warmed in house. Not impressive. My family each got a different potato and all had the same experience. Won’t be back.

Today I was in need of a good baked potatoe. I decided to try Brixton’s in Ogden. I was hesitant based on the prices. $ 3.50 — $ 7. The potatoe was pretty good but the price is why I most likely will not go again. I can buy a 10 lb bag for less than the price of the potatoe I purchased. The potatoes were medium-sized, had they been any smaller though, I would definitely not go again. The business and employees were nice and pleasant, we’ll lit and clean. My order was completed fairly quickly. If the price isn’t a concern for you, then I’d go again.

Super slow service. I walked in trying to order and the two people helping were so slow! Like snail service. But the food is decent.

The food was good. However customer service needs much needed improvement. I asked the red hair girl a question about an ingredient and instead of answering yes or no she pointed to a menu on the counter. Very rude. No smile.

Love this place. Servers behind counter great smiles. Love the food. Prices are great. Every thing is fresh. Also have sweet potato and yams available. Enjoyed sitting at the window bar and people watching as we ate. Owner very accommodating on special request.

I’ve worked in downtown Ogden for 8 years now. I remember when Brixton’s came on scene. The baked potato bar seemed like a really great idea to me, so I tried it within the first few weeks of operation. I was extremely disappointed. I remember thinking, «This place isn’t special at all!» I could make everything that Brixton’s serves in my own kitchen at home, and for A LOTLESS money. I often tell myself that I will never give a place my business again if I don’t like it, but today I tried Brixton’s again… and… I still don’t like it. It’s not that the food it bad, but I wouldn’t call it good either. It’s more of a «This food shouldn’t be that expensive» kind of a thing. $$ CHA-CHING $$ Today, I didn’t get baked potatoes. I ordered the 16oz Baked Potato Chowder(that had more onions in it than potato), and the very small Caesar Salad(because I enjoy a good salad once in a while). I was charged almost $ 13 just for those two items. Yes, I know. I was had by a great con! But with all of these great reviews for Brixton’s, I thought I might have missed something. NOPE! As the saying goes, «Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…»

I’ve been back here enough times now I ought to share how much I enjoy this place. Had the whole family along this time and everyone left happy. Great flavors and variety. Seven of us and no two ordered the same thing!

Food is okay. It’s a baked potato with different toppings. All potatoes come with sour cream and chives– the others toppings are based on the menu options. Price is okay for the amount you get. However, my dislike of the place is there is no changing table in the bathroom. Epic FAIL in the state of Utah, the baby making state of America. Get with it Brixton.

Very unique concept executed to perfection! I never thought of having a baked potato centered meal for breakfast, but the breakfast potato was delicious. Fresh ingredients and fantastic service will be bringing me back in I to try the pulled pork and Thai curry potatoes.

Not a huge baked potato fan but I really like this place. They have a really good variety, the place is clean, and the staff are friendly. Really cool business model, don’t know why there aren’t any franchises out there yet. Probably not as popular during Utah’s hot summer months. My only complaint is they don’t have their calories counts listed, but they do offer some low calorie options.

No frills here. No ambiance, no fancy menu. Plain and simple: reasonably priced baked potato the size of you head stacked to overflowing with the ingredients of your choice. What more can you possibly want? We have a new favorite restaurant in Ogden.
