Jeff’s is good for what it is. The prices are more than fair, and the portions are generous. The waitstaff is usually pretty attentive, and I have to admit that I do love that they still have a smoking room. It reminds me of going out to eat with my grandparents in the 80’s &90’s. I was a HUGE fan of Jeff’s for years, until this past Saturday morning. Our food was literally inedible, which shocked me. My food was soaked in shortening and severely under cooked. I never turn down bacon, eggs, and pancakes, and I couldn’t touch anything but my hash browns and coffee. So why 3 stars? Out of the 25+ plus times that I’ve been here, this was my first truly bad experience. And I really think it’s just because they were so busy. My husband & I usually just come after a night out drinking and order the chicken fried steak special or a burger(both of which are pretty good). We’re just never coming here for breakfast again.

Have ate here many times the food is always constant and the Mashed potatoes are wonderful ribs and catfish not bad. Coffee is good Smoking and Non smoking rooms. Service is decent. If your looking for Fine Dinning go somewhere else. If your looking for a decent meal at a good price this is your place.

This is definitely our go to place! Cheap yet good food! If you are looking for fancy, it’s not here, but it doesn’t advertise to be either. Just a normal little diner with a wide variety of yummy food!

I kept seeing the ads on tv and the great looking food. We went there the other night and it was terrible. My husband got ribs and he couldn’t even eat them, I got the fried catfish and I ate most of it, but don’t know why. By the time I got home I was praying I would throw up and I did. Needless to say, we won’t go back. Pictures can be deceiving.

Jeff’s the best greasy spoon in the area. People have complained about the appearance of cleanliness and needing a facelift, but that is what makes Jeff’s a greasy spoon. Their food is great comfort food, not five star fantastic. And there just aren’t restaurant staffs that have such wonderful southern hospitality like at Jeff’s.

Jeff’s is a great example of a small town diner where they serve all the favorites and lots of daily specials each day. Simply and utterly unpretentious dining serving great food by a waitstaff that treats like you alone are their entire focus. We discovered Jeff’s several years ago and now drive down from Edmond on Saturdays just for breakfast at Jeff’s. It’s the perfect start to the day’s errands or shopping and so warm and friendly. Look elsewhere for«creative» ethnic foods or expansive menus, but go to Jeff’s for rock-solid good food. The biscuits & gravy are awesome, pancakes so light and flavorful you’ll never want to stop eating but Do– the pies are homemade and excellent. Lunch on a budget? One answer: Go to Jeff’s. All the standards and great daily specials. Like a «meat &3» country restaurant would be if it could. Give it a try. The meatloaf is very good and my personal favorite

Prices were good but food was not great and lacked flavor. Décor was very outdated. I felt very out of place as everyone around me was at least 50 years older than me. Stay away and just stick with waffle house!

Very good, just small portions! Everything I’ve eaten from here has been awesome, just not filling! I would definitely return when I’m not starving!

We had slept in after working through the night unpacking some boxes from our move… not even close to being done on that… and had promised ourselves IHOP. Well, when the line is too long where you want to go, you look for alt er tn alternitives. I am glad we did. Not far from our new home we found an unexpected treasure. The outside is just as unassuming as the inside. They have a hometown café feel in and outside. It was like the places my dad might go drink coffee at with the old guys to dicuss and solve the problems of the world. It too was busy but there was no wait time for a table. In fact, the hostess separated a bigger table so we would not have to walk as far to an empty table. With me using a cane, that was greatly appreciated. I was worried at first as they have a smoking section and I am very sensitive to smoke and tend to have trouble breathing. But it was not an issue as the other section was completely closed in and I did not notice any smoky smells or reactions during the meal. The smoking section looked spacious from our side of the window. We ordered tea, me unsweetened and the hubby got sweet. His comment upon the first sip was, «wow that’s sweet». That is a good thing, in case you were wondering. The waitress and lady at the front were very friendly and informative. We asked for the appetizer sampler and we each ordered the ultimate omelet though with each if us asking for spinach added and me without the onions and peppers. The waitress was fine with the alterations. The sampler was ok. Nothing extra special there. Though once again my sneaky husband conned me into trying a pepper stuffed with cheese. «Oh its not spicy at all.» Yeah to the man that eats spicy stuff for fun. Aaaaa. Glad the waitress was do good about keeping our tea refilled. Mischievous man. The omlets were wonderful!!! Very tasty and just filled with the various flavors. They did not skimp on the ingredients for this delight, let me tell you. Ultimate indeed. I had a side of sliced tomatoes and biscuits and gravy. And that my friends is where I found true delight. The gravy was wonderful. Buiscuts were too but I wanted more of the gravy. I told the waitress that they should advertise on that dish big time. I would sit and eat a bowl of it if I could. Mmmm. She said it was her favorite too. She said her slogan for it was«so good you want a straw to get it all». Grin. It apparently is a mix but man is it great. Prices are reasonable and actually quite affordable. Not a famous name brand, but with service like this, good food, and comfortable surroundings that made me feel like I was back in my hometown, we will be going back for sure.

So, Jeff’s is what it is: cafeteria food that is high in quantity and not so great in quality. But if you need some comfort food, I would definitely recommend it. I was getting over a cold and wanted an open-faced roast beef with mashed potatoes like my mom always made for me, and they delivered. And the pie was good, too!

Giving them a 3 for ambiance only. The breakfast was just okay, everyone was friendly, the place is in dire need of a facelift, but the icing on the cake was the smoking room. I dont smoke but fabulous.

Easily the worst restaurant I’ve been to in my life. Went here bc Café Kacao was too packed and we were starving. Worst mistake ever. This is worst than McDonalds. Ya sure the prices are super cheap but you will be scared of getting sick after eating this. If you are an actual Unilocaler you should def not come here Confusion: don’t come here, you will welcome me for the tip.

This place is great and deserves four stars. I am not comparing this place to gourmet bistros or posh Asian fusion joints, but based solely on what it is, a casual value diner, this place is pretty damn good. I got a 10 oz ribeye, eggs, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy for $ 7.50(seriously?). My party ordered similarly cheap dishes and our table was jam-packed full of food. The server was a very friendly middle-aged woman, calling my girlfriend«babe» and«sweetie» which I feel is appropriate for that type of «family» diner atmosphere. My mother had mentioned to the server that I am a «sauce person» so she brought me literally four to five bottles of sauce. The only thing keeping me from giving this place five stars as an epic value diner is their breakfast meats taste a bit like filler, but at such a ridiculously cheap price point, I am only complaining about it half-heartedly. They also take American Express.

This is a great place to eat on a budget. Just good food on the cheap. You will not find a better breakfast if you down to your last few dollars. Breakfast is served all day and there is a always a special. The coffee is a wonderful robust breakfast blend. They grind their own beans. There is no pretense here and all are welcomed. The waitstaff are all genuinely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the place. But the burgers are great and you don’t have to dress up. They also offer a separately ventilated smoking dining room, for those who light up.

I am giving Jeff’s two stars but they are two very, very solid stars. This place is cheap and cheap and cheap. To explain, the food is cheap, you can really stuff yourself, and the ingredients are the cheapest around and you feel cheapened by the experience. No health food at this place. Also, no really good special dishes like you might see at Jimmy’s egg or Beverly’s, just basic super-cheap diner stuff. I actually go to this place all the time when I want to abuse my body for half the price of IHOP. I just wish they would offer a little better food at a higher price. Keep the cheap stuff and add a mini-menu of better dishes. Also, they do have wifi but oftentimes it does not work correctly. I have met people there on several occasions to do some work and the wifi was out. The one thing that kept me from giving the place three stars is the coffee. Of all the diners in OKC they have to have the worst coffee. Just absolute crap.

I was starving when I arrived to this place. The prices here are low as well as the food quality. I ordered the ultimate omelette which wasn’t nothing close to «Ultimate». The combo came with 2 choices and chose 1 chewy tasting pancake and some watery grits. I mean, how do you mess up grits?! I will never go back here again.

You need to know that you don’t go to Jeff’s when you want quality dining. You go there because you only have 3 bucks and you can get an entire plate of food instead of a drive-thru value burger. You go there because you need to work on stuff and you get unlimited coffee and don’t have to worry about seeing all your friends from the Red Cup. You go there because you are a smoker and they have an entire room for you to wallow in smoke as thick as biscuits while you eat(it has a dedicated room with vents and you can only occasionally get a waft of it on the non-smoking side.) Maybe you have a hankering for a good game of The Claw or Count the Waitress’s Teeth. Maybe you just need some Salsbury Steak or Meatloaf. Now, there are two things you need to judge a country diner by: ranch dressing and gravy. They do both extremely well. They also have a banging coconut cream pie. Everything else, just depends on the day. They have had the same specials painted in big bold letters on the windows for twenty years and more red, white and blue than a crying eagle. This is inner-city country. USA! USA!
