Beef ‘O’ Brady’s

Been to many stores of this franchise, some have done well, some like the one near my home in NE St Pete went down in flames. This is one corporation that seems to give the owner a lot of free rein (or they don’t police them very well) because the food, the wait staff, even the degree of cleanliness seems to vary considerably from Beef’s to Beef’s. And the one that closed by me (years ago) deserved to be closed. Food was terrible, staff worse!
That being said-​I was duly impressed by this place. Food was good (just had some bar snacks) the beer was fast and the bartenders were personable and funny. Sitting there with a couple of acquaintances and low and behold three buddies of mine from Saratoga stumble in! Small world.
Anyway we all proceeded to have a great time, they have a good selection of beers and like I say it’s a good time place. This location seems to be cursed, I’ve seen maybe a half dozen establishments in this spot but I think this one makes it.

Service was excellent. Food was great and the restaurant was clean. They have a great selection of craft beers as well.

I’ve been going to Beef’s since I was a kid. No matter which location, the vibe has at least, in part, been family friendly. I’m happy to say that this location has that same vibe. It is spacious, clean, and easily accessible from Tampa Road, close to a number of hotels.
The food I’ve ordered at this Beef’s was fresh, cooked properly, and tasted the way I expected. I especially enjoyed my chicken tenders tossed in buffalo sauce. The only issue we had was that our oldest son’s pizza was burned, but the server let us know before it ever came out of the kitchen and the situation was quickly rectified.
Here’s where the three stars come in:
This location could easily garner four stars from me if the customer service were better. My first time here with my family the waitresses were arguing right in front of us over who was going to take our table. It sounded like one of them was upset over the lack of tables she was getting that night. That is not a conversation you have in front of your patrons. I felt like we were in the middle of a tug-​o-​war. Thank goodness our actual server was not one of the ones involved in the argument. She was actually very kind and funny, and took my mind off of the ridiculous drama we were subjected to. Our most recent visit was much easier going, with a more pleasant transition from the hostess to the server. They staff seemed somewhat disorganized, almost like they weren’t expecting guests, but we didn’t wait long at all to be seated.
I will come back to this location because of the food & the family friendly atmosphere. It is a great option on nights where we don’t have a specific place in mind. That being said, I hope the bad apples get sorted out as far as the wait staff is concerned.

What a disappointment the Oldsmar Beef’s is, the food is good but the wait staff is horrible. They seem to have their usual customers and treat them well but those that aren’t obviously do not count. We had a few other tables that came in after we had ordered and they were served well before us. We were pretty much ignored unless we chased someone down. Unless you are going to be a regular, and seems you will have to become one first, don’t expect good service. Avoid this location, there are more in the area that have far better service.

Fantastic restaurant with an awesome atmosphere! Large variety of food choices and the pizzas are delicious. Full liquor bar with large section of draft beer. If you are looking for a good time, get to beefs in oldsmar!

I’m so glad that Beefs opened up in the same building that I work in. They have great drink specials and good food at reasonable prices. The lunch time bartender is super friendly and makes you smile.
Ask for Dave and Matt when you step thru the door and they will make you feel like family.

Beefs is a classic spot for wings and beer. This location has extremely attentive and welcoming staff. It’s clean and has a ton of TVs so great spot for watching all the games!

First visit. Excited they’re in my neighborhood. Several people at the bar. Smells good inside. Smiley hostess. I sit at bar and wait. No staff behind the bar. When she does show up, she says hi and looks at me. Ok… can I have a menu please. Menu is tattered with plastic separating from paper. I like it better when bartenders encourage me to drink… by offering to get me one or suggesting something or even just bringing me water.

This location has been open about three months and it is much larger on the inside than it looks from the street or the parking lot.
The bar area is nice, spacious and surrounded by hightop tables while the dining rooms also have a much more modern feel than most of the BOB’s that I’ve visited over the years.
However, this BOB seems to have the same vibe that most BOB’s do. They attract too much of a family crowd and it pushes single people without children like me away.
For example, it was early afternoon on a Saturday and while the dining room was about half full, there was absolutely nobody sitting in the bar area.
There are plenty of quality drink specials and a decent bar menu that would otherwise be of more interest to me, but I just don’t think of BOB as anything but what they have hammered home in their marketing for decades…“A Family Sports Pub.“
When I go out for drinks, bar food and to watch a game, I simply have no interest in sharing a room with children.
Much like the Seinfeld episode where Jerry and George talked about how humans have a «deal» with the birds, I feel that people without children have a «deal» with people who have children. And that means they have their places to go out, we have ours… and they do not mix.
Recently, an owner of a different sports bar/​restaurant asked what keeps me out of any similarly themed locations no matter what and I simply told him that it is any of three things: Karaōke, UFC/​MMA telecasts and Kids Eat Free promotions.
Oh, and when a sandwich comes with fries and you cannot substitute something else as your side without an additional charge, it always ticks me off.

After watching them renovate for what seemed like months the BOB finally opened and we have already been twice in the last couple of weeks. The interior is standard BOB but it is clean and with lots of room… no crammed in tables like other BOB’s I have been to in the past.
The food is on point… The wings are as good as any I have had in the area (maybe better than the wing place right down the road) and the Beer selection is even better. My entire family are here last week and we all had different meals and all were excellent (Bacon Burger, boneless wings –maybe more sauce needed on these?, Bone in wings, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich).
Looking forward to hitting the Happy Hours for cheap beers and wings with the wife in the near future. Glad to have this BOB close by!

Glad they opened a location close to home. Been to other beefs in the area, but they were disappointing. We’ve eaten in and done carryout. Got wings both times and they were some of the best from a beefs. Side salad was better than most places. They have a full bar and quite a few TVs. I want to try the buffalo chicken dip next time.

Ok so we were able to try the new Beef’s and it definitely holds up to its name!
I ordered the wings, of course, hot and wet and they were THE BOMB! I also ordered a steak quesadilla and it was hot and fresh. The cheese was perfectly melted and all of our food was hot.
I hate they don’t have the curly fries I love but their fries were hot and delicious.
I also ordered a mango margarita and it was good! a great balance of liquor and mango sweetener.
The atmosphere is great and relaxed. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean. There are more than 15 TVs to enjoy.
I will definitely be coming back and will be a repeat Unilocaler checker inner here!!!
