This restaurant met and exceeded our expectations. There was quick, friendly service and the food was delicious. We ordered the kid’s burger with fries, it was perfect for our picky eater. We ordered the pulpo al mojo de ajo and the pescado empalizado. It was perfectly seasoned. The only reason this is getting four stars is because one of the oysters from our half dozen didn’t look so fresh. We opted not to eat it. We would go back though.

My first time here and I was impressed. Great service, good food, and an authentic feel. The complimentary chips come with a tostada shell and 2 kinds of salsa. I enjoyed the fried baby octopus, and a mixed cocktail(#8). Decent portions of each got me stuffed! I’m definitely coming back!

Don’t follow the map on Unilocal lol. It’s on the corner of Grove and E 4th like 10 min down from the spot it’s showing. Walking in, it took a while for them to give us menus. We had to wave down a waiter and ask for them actually. The service after that was good though. The place is small but it was packed. Their michaeladas and preparadas were great. I’m a fan of Mexican seafood. We usually go to the mariscos espinosa in San Bernardino but this one is closer to where we live now so we’re happy we found it. We ordered two plates of oysters and they were fresh and had good quality. One of our oysters had a baby crab inside it and they cracked some open weird and there were quite a few big shells though. I got the tostada de ceviche pesacado and it was good. My boyfriend got the jaiba one and it’s good too. Their coctels are amazing and that’s my usual order but I wanted a light meal today. I really like the chips here cause they’re thin and break easily. Their menu is in Spanish so it may be hard to order for those without a translator.

By far my favorite place for pulpo(octopus). I will definitely be coming back again to try something new. My man tried the fajitas fundidas. Fajitas with cheese on top… oh my everything was yummy. Going to dream about the crispness of the pulpo and dipping them in that tasty salsa. I totally recommend this place… and they even have a little juke box… of course with musica latina. Put some Chente on. Can’t go wrong there.

The food is DISGUSTING. I don’t know how people can eat here. I’m so upset I spent money on nasty food I didn’t finish. Come here for a huge stomach ache and a broken heart for spending your hard earned money on nasty old food. If I could give negative stars, I would. Do not come here, save yourself the disappointment.

Since I live in the area i tried this place on a whim. So glad I did. The food is very authentic and muy chiloso! Finally a place that isn’t afraid to use chile! Will be back.

The first place I’ve been to that charge for water! And don’t serve customers anything only because they don’t order food.

My daughter and I came to this place for a quick«Good Friday Dinner». The place wad half full, and seemed to be okay, aside from the semi-loud music playing(only got louder from there) On the up side the complimentary salsa& chips were good, salsa wad“HOT”! Ordered Guacamole, that too wad really good, and plenty of it, we took half home. Now the not so good… Ordered a Campechana(mixed seafood cocktail), was bland, no matter how much lime, tapatio and ketchup I put! The shrimps were not cleaned(poop line still in them) and gave them a bad taste! Aside from that, no one grated us when we walked in, so we seated ourselves, and it took what seemed like forever to get a menu, I’m sorry to say, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again!

Great service! Fresh shrimp in my coctel, huge portion. Reasonable prices & coke on tap. Chips were fresh and salsa was bomb. Clean & fast service will be back.

We looked on Unilocal to find a good Mexican seafood restaurant after State Cup games and decided to try this place. Really good choice! Authentic taste and ambience! Felt like I was in Mexico. Family friendly, great food, friendly service and reasonably priced!

Best Micheladas ever, I have tried them all over the state of California and none is better. Ceviche is the shit, shrimp enchiladas are amazing. I hate the jukebox. Go and you will not be disappointed.

I have been to this place at least ten times. I usually come during lunch hours and the place can get busy, but never a long wait. The tables, floor, bathroom are always super clean. When you sit at the table, there is a «button» you ring to get the waitresses attention. She comes over quickly with a basket full of chips, saltine crackers and tostada shells. Along with that, is the complimentary FRESH salsa and a very tasty«imitation crab» salsa with olives, jalapenos and tomatoes(YUM!) I tend to want to relax and enjoy my mexican seafood, so I always order a bud light, which is served in a chilled glass with lemon and salt on the rim(NICETOUCH!) Ask for extra sour cream on the shrimp tacos, you will thank me later. Each dinner/meal comes with rice and beans and a side salad which consist of lettuce, tomato and onion. Ranch dressing in a squeeze bottle along with the hot sauce. The food is fresh, and everything taste good! The home made beans have dried chilis in them just like my grandmother use to make — that alone keeps me coming back for more! The rice is a tad greasy, but full of flavor! I love the chicken flautas, the shrimp tacos, and the steak fajitas. My only complaint is that they do not usually do a good job of deveining the shrimp, but I tend to either«pick at it» myself(I KNOWSOUNDSGROSS). **The one time I came for dinner, there must have been a different cook as the food was salty, the beans were«runny» and my waitress messed up on my order(ADDEDCHEESEONMYBEANSWHEN I ASKEDHERNOTTO) but maybe that was because she was spanish speaking and misunderstood me. All and all, I will continue to come here and get my grub on!

So this is my boyfriends go-to spot after a night of drinking, which makes it my go to spot. The micheladas are delicous and really cheap compared to other places(I believe they are like $ 4.00). The shrimp empanadas are delicous along with their seafood cocktails. Service is friendly, my only complaint is that sometimes the music is so loud you can barely hear eachother talking at the table.
