I just wasn’t impressed here at all. There was a wait at dennys so we decided to try this place. Ive had some amazing breakfasts in so many places around LA, but this place just didn’t cut it for me. The service was just ok. The waitress brought us coffee and no cream, this should just be automatic in my opinion or at least ask if we would like cream. The food wasn’t good at all. It was dry, had no flavor and my bacon was over cooked. My gf burrito was so dry that the salsa was the only thing that gave it a bit of flavor and spunk. We won’t be coming back.

After searching long for an amazing breakfast spot near my new home, I came across Zeke’s in Ontario CA. As soon as I walked in I was approached by the friendliest staff ever. Soon after I was seated, I was introduced to some amazing coffee! I am a coffee fanatic, and this coffee was outstanding! I ordered an omelette and my boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles. WOW, I was speechless. I was expecting a nice little omelette nothing too big. I was immediately astonished when they brought my plate. It was a huge omelet. I sure had leftovers. I was picking at my boyfriend’s food(Which girlfriend doesn’t?) and his chicken was just finger licking good! I came back 2 more times that same day to try their iced coffee… That is even BETTER than their hot coffee. Wow, this is my favorite breakfast spot!

Totally love this place. You can’t beat the food for the price. Everytime I go I have to get the Denver omelet with biscuits and gravy. Can you say perfection

The biscuits & gravy were not that good but everything else was just okay. Service was okay, but most of the girls here come off really rude!

I’m giving the place two stars cause(1) as you walk in it says booths are for five or more, as I walk in towards the bathrooms I noticed they allowed two at the booths.(2) I order the baby steak that is probably under 8oz for $ 11.75 it comes with two eggs and hash browns and biscuits and gravy. I ask for my steak medium well and it comes well done. I then ask my sever could she read my order back to me. She then tells me I wrote the order the way ask for, and it was not her fault. That she would take $ 3.00 off. If you do the math they double the price on that steak ! Could have got the deal at Stevie D for less and the same amount of food. And it would’ve been cook the way I ask for. But the wife wanted to try it.

As was once said, «Zed’s dead,» but not Zeke he’s doing well here in RC. Great place for breakfast and lunch for sure you gotta give it a whirl. While you can definitely come here for the usual breakfast and lunch combos, they do it here with a proud and robust love of their gravy, so instead of the usual sides a standard offering here is their biscuits and gravy. Yes the normal stuff is also available but I love me some sausage gravy, but typically find myself disappointed; not so here, this was sausage gravy at its finest. You can get the usual sides, but when B&G is offered because they are that proud you take it and you smile and say thank you. You’ll thank me that you did. I also enjoyed an omelet and their home fries(yes hash browns are also available). I must say, the home fries were not as crispy as I’d have liked them but they were flavorful and had a nice smattering of peppers and onion. The omelet was a self assembled concoction of cheddar, jalapeños, mushrooms, and chorizo. I can say the chorizo was super flavorful probably one of the best chorizos I’ve had and overall it was a good omelet. Yes you could hear my gripe coming on, I cut my teeth as a cook making omelets, so I’m a bit of a snob in that regard, the sausage was only really, in about half the omelet, and the cheddar was MIA. I can make an amazing omelet, and I love them, so I guess when I order one, out and about, I expect folded scrambled egg greatness. Well this was still good and I did enjoy it so I’m just being an omelet chef snob. Definitely stop in Zeke’s Eatin’ Place wether you live here or you’re passing through. I dig their décor(lots of old movie posters) and it is obviously a Rancho staple with good food and amazing, polite, gracious staff.

My boyfriend and I split the giant pancakes, biscuits with real sausage gravy, and hash browns. It was all very good, and we were stuffed for $ 13. I’m just mad there isn’t a Zeke’s closer to my house.

Mildly friendly servers greeted us as we entered, but the menu had no pictures! I’m kinda kidding. The entire menu was extremely overpriced and the portions were not enough for a sexually active 19 year old. It’s 10:21AM and to start the day off spending $ 25 on an omelette, getting some hash browns, a biscuit, no chicken, and a waffle was pretty steep. Maybe I’m stingy ’cause I’m Asian but that was kinda ridiculous. I happen to need a lot of water to stay hydrated(that’s how it works) and I made the mistake of only asking for one cup of water. The restaurant was only a third filled, and my first cup of water was empty for around 10 minutes before I finally grabbed someone to fill er up. In the future I guess I will initially ask for 3 cups of water. Asking the hostess about their menu didn’t help me wade through their pictureless menu, she didn’t speak English very well. The extent of her knowledge reached only two their two most popular meals. She couldn’t tell us if their syrup had high fructose corn syrup or not, and leaving and looking back on this experience the only commendable thing she did was that she went to take a picture of the jug. It was a 5 gallon bucket of the cheapest syrup man could forge. Pretty crazy to pair with the most luxurious waffle single waffle with no chicken that cost 7 bucks. It was a dry waffle. Tipping heavily because it’s the new year and I feel really bad for anyone who works as a server. Won’t be coming back ever though.

Had some fun at the Doctors and the Boss needs food so I will get Her some(this is about as far as I go with the Hunter Gather in me) «I DRIVE». Zeke’s Eatin’ Place came up on a Unilocal search(best Hunter Gather I can do) so we went there some time after 2:00pm nice cozy place Western Diner feel to it. The boss had the Baby Steak with Veggies and I went with the Patty Melt with fries and onion rings,(if only my Doctor knew) fantastic and we also split the Bread Pudding for dissert and it was mighty fine. So if you want to get your Cowboy or Cowgirls food needs taken care of at a great place that wont drain the money that you made at that cow drive that you do, give Zeke’s Eatin’ Place a mozy over. I brand Zeke’s Eatin’ Place with 5 pigs and a plate of beans Blazing Saddles Style !

Been coming here for years, since I was a kid actually. My dad used to bring us here for breakfast. I remember a few years back the quality of food had declined a little. Wasn’t as good as I remembered it once was. Not certain but I think they may have gone through a few different ownerships. Nonetheless, for the past year or so their service and quality of food has been excellent. In my opinion, best place for breakfast around. Today, however, I’m stepping out and trying something off the lunch menu for the first time. Going to have the BBQ Burger. I’ll let you all know how it was another time. Until then, come on down to Zeke’s Eating Place and enjoy some great home style cooking.
