Liked this place. They are closed for remodel and looks like new owner and new name. Permit on door says«deli» so no idea if still Vietnamese or if it’s going to be a deli. Sign on door says remodeling and the whole inside is gutted.

I have been here twice. The first time I tried the Egg Rolls, Thai tea with boba and Wonton Soup. The egg rolls are SUPER bomb. I definitely recommend it. The wonton soup, eh, it’s ok. Wouldn’t order it again. The service? There is none. I asked for recommendations and they didn’t have any. I asked questions and they couldn’t answer. They took the order correctly though. The Thai tea was tasty but the boba wasn’t cooked all the way. Still hard. Never going to order boba again. I heard the phở was amazing though and the portions were more than fair. The second visit wasn’t very pleasant. We ordered egg rolls, there weren’t enough lettuce leafs and the ones we had were old and had stuff growing on it. The phở we ordered was good! It was freezing cold so we asked if we could close the door, they said yes. We closed it ourselves as they watched. A couple minutes after he sat down, they opened it again. Keep in mind it’s like 50 degrees outside. We asked to close it again and this time they kept it closed. Here’s the inconvenient part, they didn’t tell us they’re taking cash only till we were ready to pay. My husband had to go to the nearest bank to take out cash since we didn’t know of any nearby ATMs. I stayed. A gentleman came out and said sorry about not taking card, I explained it should’ve been mentioned before like when we ordered. He said he put a sign on the door, and I told him we didn’t see any sign plus the door was wide open. Turns out there was a sign on the door but facing out, so with the door opened you cannot see it. Totally inconvenient. Wasted our time and gas. Gave it 2 stars since the phở is good. But the service, uncooked boba and old food served keeps it low. Not coming back again.

Im giving this place 1 star for its lack of communication. Ive been here 3 times. Maybe 4 and its been delicious! Today pissed me off. We were sat down at a booth. They kept the door open so it was freezing inside without a jacket. The food was good. Service isnt top class but id like to suggest that they use english a little more instead of just head nods and smiles. After we ate, they bring us a check and upon seeing the I only had a credit card, they spring it on us last minute that it was cash only. To my surprise too! They have visa stickers all over their store. So, because I could not pay, I left my wife in the restaurant, drove 2 miles to a atm, and came back to pay… then they say oh, there is an atm next door!!! Wtf. Wasted money, time, and gas just to have a bowl of noodles and broth. No longer going to this place.

Xlnt foods for Xlnt prices indeed. If I may suggest: Lightly dipping the«bbq pork sandwich» into your Phở soup before each bite is magical — pure magic. They even have authentic crepes.

Awesome phở with a broth that rivals Phở 79. This place was such an amazing surprise! Family owned and operated. Always has a lunch special and a great ice coffee. Definitely coming back for more !!!

I normally come here with company but today I decided to order to go. Phở tom is my favorite with all the fixings. Their boba is different than ive tasted, its gellier too. When i got home with the food, everything was packaged nicely and the food was very fresh. Yum!

This place is authentic as it gets! The beef stew(not phở) was flavorful without being salty. It wasn’t overly oily and tasted like it was from scratch. The meat was tender and fell apart between my chopsticks and the jumbo carrot was sweet. The charbroiled pork rolls were perfect, and the fish sauce dressing was amazing!!! I usually avoid fish sauce but this place does it right! It wasn’t overly fishy or sweet and had good balanced flavors. I was stuffed sharing a bowl of beef stew and the pork rolls but I ordered the crêpe too. I can’t wait to dig in. Now that I’ve finally tried this place, ill never I back to phở co. This place is just on another level in terms of flavor as quality. I can’t wait to try more traditional dishes.

We love this place! The food comes out quickly and steaming hot, the staff is super sweet and attentive. This is our go to phở place, their soda Chan is my favorite! It’s also very inexpensive, I hope they stick around for a long time.

I’ve been coming here since the place opened a little under a year ago. The ladies know me because I always order the pork Vietnamese sandwich. It’s under $ 5 and usually 9−10″. Today I came in and asked for the usual, and minutes later the older woman rushed a bag onto my hands and scurried back into the kitchen. I was later to find out that they changed the French roll for a short pudgy thing about half the size. I wish they would have let me know, and given me the opportunity to upgrade or something… I was quite disappointed. I’ve tried their other food and it’s good, just not necessarily what I crave. Those sandwiches are what kept me coming back and after this I don’t know how often I’ll visit. I’ll probably try again soon and ask if I can upgrade to the regular sandwich haha. It was so funny that they knew I’d notice but didn’t speak up and hid from me instead. For what it’s worth I’m a big believer in mom and pop shops– if they’re going thru tough times raise the prices. Don’t take away my food!(;

This place was great. My wife and I go to a lot of phở places but this was one of the best, in my opinion. The meat was just about the best as I have had at any phở spot. It was very tender and fresh with lots of flavor. The soup was awesome as well. Beyond all that the service was great and fast. My wife and family all enjoyed their dishes as well.

This place is the real deal, as authentic as any Vietnamese place in Westminster, without the drive. We order take-out here 2−3/ month and they are lightning fast in preparing our food. We usually get the shaken beef, rare steak phở or vermicelli. The food comes out piping hot and the portions are generous. Every dish is very flavorful and well marinated. I especially recommend the shaken beef, the meat is so tender and melts in your mouth. It’s definitely our go-to spot for Vietnamese food in Orange. Very happy it’s here!

I’ve seen this spot change owners/names more often than guys change their underwears. And it’s always from one Vietnamese restaurant to another. At any rate, so far, I like Phở Today compared to the previous businesses that were here. The menu selection is wider. They even offer Thai and Chinese food. The drink/boba selection is the same though, which is disappointing. The taste of the food is ok and the service was just ok, but it’s worth coming back whenever you need a quick fix of Asian food.

This is the best phở… In the area. Phở Today is not even remotely close to as good as my fave phở joint, but it sure is a helluva lot closer and I can order to go and they usually have it ready in 10 minutes or less. I mean that is just awesome. They have a lot more variety of Vietnamese dishes than hello noodle, the previous tenant. All the flavors were there, though none of the dishes can I say we’re the best I’ve had. A solid 3 star phở and rice joint, with 1 star added for quick to go service.

What can I say, excellent foods and very decent price. This is a home styled cooking restaurant. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and looking for a good phở place(they serve more than just phở). To the person who gave this place a 1 star — Seriously, you sound like a crazy PETA whiner. Give it a break, if you want to eat vegetarian food I suggest you go to a Vegetarian restaurant.

Great food, great service, really helpful service. The cook cares that he comes out to check on his food to make sure you are happy. This place replaced Hello Noodle which had great service too but horrible food. The Phở is authenic, the broth is always oily and tasty. My wife always has the same thing but I like to change it up all the time. Tip… the beer is cheap too.

I ordered the vegetarian rice noodle phở to go. The broth tasted gross, and I thought it seemed unusually thick, oily, and salty. It has been nearly a decade since I last chicken broth. I forgot what it tasted like, but after a few bites I became suspicious. I called the restaurant and asked a different person(from the person who took my order) whether he used chicken broth in the vegetarian entrees. He said«Yes,» quite matter-of-factly. I used to keep pet chickens. Chickens are clever, sweet creatures with complex social relationships. I can’t imagine why someone who knows anything about chickens would want to eat them, but in our society that is a personal choice and I understand at least that much. I think there’s something especially awful about not honoring the choices of those who choose not to eat chickens. Broth that is made out of dead, cooked carcasses isn’t «vegetarian» even if it has vegetables in it. I threw the rest of it away and bought myself a second dinner somewhere else to get the taste of dead animals out of my mouth. I’m not giving this establishment a bad review because it serves meat; I’m doing it because it does so under false pretenses and the food that I did eat tasted terrible.

I’m not big on Asian food, but my partner is Asian so I end up trying places like this. I’m also a super picky eater, so when I find food I like at places like this, it’s a really good thing! I’ve been going to the dry cleaners next door to this place for over 5 years now and I swear this restaurant has changed owners at least 5 times since then. This time though, I think they found a winner. For me, I’ve enjoyed their pork chops and chicken. Of course rice is usually good anywhere you go. I wish they had soda from a fountain instead of a can. That means no free refills. Service is top notch. They want people to feel welcome, but not smothered. I appreciate that. If you like Phở, check this place out. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Where’s Hello Noodle? Gosh, I had gotten so used to Hello Noodle and the broth had greatly improved. I have eaten here twice now. We always order the same thing, Phở Chin with extra chin and egg rolls. The chin was a bit sterile and tough. The broth seems to lack any depth. The couple running the place are nice. Overall, I have had better. Neither the little one or I enjoyed the food very much, but they are new. I am rounding up with the stars and wishing this new phở store(one of several over the last few years) the best of luck. Parking is easy, AOK.

Much better than Happy Noodle which this place replaced. I have enjoyed it and my coworkers seem to really enjoy it. Nothing but the food and drinks have changed though with regards to furniture or set up. So the booths are still old and kinda broken down. The wait staff and the food have been totally upgraded. A few of my coworkers really enjoy the phở here. I havent had it yet but have had some of the rice dishes and they are pretty tasty as well. I had missed having a place that I was able to enjoy broken rice with meat at. This place has fulfilled that tasty treat well. The owner chef and the wait staff has been very good and accommodating. I havent had boba or slushes here yet, but I am sure that they will be good as well. Now if only they had some popcorn chicken on the menu hehehehe im thinking so bad… regardless the grub is tasty and it was a good price. So yeah definitely a place worth going to. Not as tasty as Phở Company down the street, but much much cheaper than them…
